Happy palindromic 4202024. To help celebrate I’m starting a couple of Euphoria seeds and making the first diary entry of the season. This year i’m doing two photoperiod plants, starting today, and two autos that I’ll start in mid-May. Apr 22: moved into soil after about 48 h in 25 C water in the dark. Have a ripe apple beside the seeds under the foil because apparently the ethylene gas that is given off helps. Science paper I happened across last winter - will post reference when I remember. Apr 25: removed foil (and apple) and left on a 25 C heat mat beside a light that is going for tomatoes and peppers. Weak light, warmth, and high humidity is what they need at this stage.

Day 40-47 (May 31st- June 7th) (Day 41) For the first time in this grow these plants are looking halfway decent. Smell is ramping up too. I finally feel optimistic about this grow. (Day 42) The two jacks and the chunky blueberry are showing early signs of N/Mg deficiencies. I know it’s late in flower but since I’m experimenting with this tent, I’m going to give them one final feeding of nature’s pride 2-5-5.5 (tbsp) along with a teaspoon of oyster shell flour and some rock dust. Everything else I’m going to give a teaspoon of rock dust and oyster shell. There is no way these amendments will fully break down in time to be used by the plant but they could at least use the pH buffering and trace amounts of minerals after their recent leach. Everything but the BAOGC is covered in pistils that don’t really match their bud size. I hope they fill into their pistils because an over abundance of hairs drops the bag appeal like crazy. Over the last few cycles, indoor and outdoor, I’ve definitely learned that different strains and phenotypes mature at different times. Sometimes really radically too. (Day 43) None of the plants are fading at all but they’re still looking good. Black garlic I know should be fading but remains dark green and toxed. I popped a developing seed out of the main bud too. I wonder if that blueberry herm branch pollinated it at all. It seems like plants don’t really like that Destiny dark matter soil by itself. I find it works better mixed with coco or promix 1:1. (Day 44) I’m starting to think I might be mixing up the TWOG and BAOGC. BAOGC took forever to fatten up last round and the 2 phenos I suspected already look done. I was thrown off by the similar terps. The beauty phenos are definitely TWOG (Day 45) God these Jack Herer’s smell good. Nothing but fruity funk. Almost like a vanilla or blueberry yogurt. I would say this stuff has the most overpowering smell in the tent now. I’ve noticed they’re starting to foxtail like crazy. Blueberry#1 too. I’m watering a final low strength feeding of seaweed extract on everything. (Day 47) Everything really fattened up this week. Even at the beginning of the week I was saying I didn’t think they would fill out. Jack Herer and BAOGC specifically made some big gains and nearly doubled their density and still have quite a way to go on them too! The smell has ramped up and finally, everything is looking happy and healthy.

First, so sorry again for the lame and horrible pictures. I lost the every single picture I took, the whole process :( and had to take a few just before harvest with a lame phone. This wasn't hard to train at all. Took all the heavy defolation I did like a champ. I just messed up with the nute intake. I can't ask more of this light so I'm quite happy with the results. I've learned so much since my first grow that I'm honestly happy with what I'm getting. I used topping in the fifth node, lst and net for scrog I later had to remove. Next time I'll repeat the same thing but I'll leave less branches and focus on getting them as fat as they can. Too many popcorn bud with so many branches, light can't go trough like with less branches. I could write so much about the smell of this one. At some point IT WAS vanilla, during the cutting process I moved it quite a bit and strangely, it was pure mint. Growing it, it was extremely sweet and a bit earthy, never leaving the vanilla touches. I'll stick with Barney's for a few more plants. It was a resistant and lovely plant to grow.

Keeping my lady happy is a full-time job full of surprises, sometimes heavily exhausting long hours. I'm giving all my love to them. Hindu Kush isn't doing so great. I changed the solution 2 days ago. I am hopeful that it fixes it. She will likely be getting switched out into another room so the bigger plants can flower and not get too big on me. So she will be a long grow if she makes it. Not much changed this week in regard to growth. Except the fattening of buds is all I’m waiting on. A few more pistils are darkening n there are plenty of trichomes on the buds n leaves! Even big leaves r covered. Trichomes r mainly milky n clear with a tiny amount of amber. Hoping these buds get a nice bit bigger before I must give her the chop!

Day 86: Everything continues the same way light, ventilation, humidity... water intake raied up 450ml daily. Buds are getting thicker Zkittlez form the Bakery Seed Co. is in flush with 2nd week now... No fertilization 2nd week...Next week is harvest time. I start flushing Blue Sherbet S1 this week and stop fertilizing as well She should be ready on the 14th-15th week. Fruit Tree and 24K Gold need more time so my plan is to start flushing them from next week to be done by the 15th, 16th week. Today I watered them after 2 days except Zkittlez because she is in flush. I am happy with them only one thing that I don't like is the LED I bought. It is weak, I should have sticked with the previous one. It can be stronger better results with more dense buds but I think I have done the maximum with this LED. But the Girls are nice let's see the outcome soon. ✌️ Day 87: Very strong smell in my room! !!! Marijuana ❤️🤭😂 Day 89: Last day watering for Zkittlez. Friday, Saturday, Sunday no more water and on Monday is harvest!🤭 Day 90: Today I have changed the old lamp just wanted to get rid of it and placed a new Viparspectra PAR 600W.

I know that it may seem like a lot of nutrients at first. It’s not. A lot of those mycorrhizae ingredients are mixed into my soil well before the germinated seed goes into the pot. I make my own mix of soil using some of those ingredients. I like to use the great white mykos because of its powders consistency. Makes it easy for a clean transport from germinated bean to its forever home. For watering, they have been given only plain RO water with a neutral ph. Just yesterday I gave them a little tiny mix of Medusa’s magic, Zeus juice, and Gaia mania. I have used Oregon’s only brand products for a while now and I absolutely love them and better yet, I understand them. They have responded super well already to their first drink of bottled nutes with a ph of 6.3 . I’m keeping a RH between 50 and 60%. I’m also keeping a temp during the day at around 78-81°f. Right now I’m not worried about a night time temp but I do run cooler lights for about 4 hrs every day, dropping to around 70-75°f. Eventually I will add my second light boosting me from 600w too 1200w. Also they will begin a 20-4 hr light cycle. I find these autos do amazing with a little rest for 4 hrs. Allows me to pull more resin and color in later stages of life by dropping the temp lower than usual with the lights off. FINALE!!! Passend zum EM-Start gehen meine fünf Easy Buds von RQS in die letzte Phase Ihrer Blüte. Diese Woche habe ich bereits damit begonnen ausgiebig zu gießen und zu spülen, die Pflanzen noch ein weiteres mal zu beschneiden und die Vorbereitungen für das Trocknen wurden getroffen. Ich freue mich sehr auf das Trocknen, weil die Blüten dort noch mal richtig zeigen können, was in Ihnen steckt, der Geruch ist sehr viel versprechend, erdig, würzig, skunk-ish. Ich glaube diese Woche sprechen die Bilder und Videos mehr als meine Worte. Wie man leicht erkennen kann sind zwei der fünf mädels noch in einem früheren Blütestatus, aber das stört mich nicht. Ich werde kommende Wochen mit viel freude die kleinen bäumchen abschneiden, dass heißt nächste Woche findet sich hier bereits der Bericht über die Ernte. Bis dann! =)))
