After several days of deep research on the internet, I decided to get myself a small set up (24x24x48 inch tent) to grow cannabis indoor, if this works I will definitely get a bigger setup. NYC Diesel Auto, two girls who sprouted beautifully after using the cup of water and paper towel method. Now I have them on a lightly mixed soil on solo cups (500ml) under a 600W LED light. I am using 1/4 tsp/gal of FloraGro and Micro for now. Using the trio of nutrients from General Hydroponics, FloraGro, Micro and Bloom. Day 2 and one of the two have broken the soil, the other one is MIA...Update: Both girls are out and about! Day 3 to 5 - both girls are coming along just fine. If anyone with more expertise has an explanation for my little girl whos coming along much slower than her big sis, please let me know!! All tips and advice from experienced growers are welcomed!

These photos are from day 13 Week 2. Both Girls are coming along just fine, one much faster than the other. Day 1 of week 2 the bigger girl was already smelling. I have transplanted the bigger girl to a 5 gal Smart pot filled with my own super soil, her roots were poking out of the drainage holes in the bottom of the Solo cup. I think I should've done that a couple of days ago...ops a daisy. The small one will be in the solo cup for one more week I believe, her pace is like mine when I'm high... slow and steady LOL Nutrients wise, I am following a feeding chart by General Hydroponics - Flora series. All advice from growers out there are welcomed! Also if anyone know why one is growing so much fasterthan the other please share the info ;)

Entering week 3 nice and strong, my big girl have formed 4 levels of branches, we can now see the fan leafs starting to get thick and shaped like Indica leafs. Both girls show such good resistance to drastic changes so far, I had to travel and got a friend to come over and give them some love, boy oh boy, for my surprise (as a newbie) the variations of humidity jumping from 45% to 80%, I thought the plants were going to show sign of stress, however they are as green as ever, leafs look nice and healthy!! I am having some difficulties in stabilizing the environment inside my grow tent since transplanting both plants into the 5 gallon smart pots, humidity is all over the place. I have to be constantly checking, turning the exhaust system on and off if I want to maintain the levels between 50 and 60%. Now, When I get up in the morning and check the thermometer humidity have been as low as 44% and as high as 77%, I am wondering if my light schedule is the problem…I have lights off from 12am to 4am and than lights on for the rest of the clock. If anyone (TheBudWhisperer help! lol) have some advice and suggestion please let me know! Happy Grow and Stay Lit Folks😎

Week 4 have been full of learning for me as a new grower. I decided to attempt a mainline on my small girl. She have recovered nice and quick but still so tiny and growing slow. My bigger plant is still developing well, the fan laves are nice and thick, I have done 3 Low Stress Training tie downs on her so far and I have been tucking the big fan leaves down so the leaves growing under have a chance to get illuminated. Now, my big girl looks quite bushy not very tall at all I wonder if that is normal. I have been thinking if my big girl would benefit from some topping? If I am not mistaken she is entering the flower stage some of the photos show some flower formation, isn't too early for that? I have decided to germinate a couple more seeds of NYCD on October 19th. Please let me know what I should improve! Is there any nutrients I should add?

Here we are starting week 5 with this beautiful plant (the big one, I should give her a name...) who went through all her vegetation weeks showing great strength, thriving like a boss and making me so very happy! What a therapeutic experience 😎 On day 32 I decided to introduced a 1000W LED monstrosity light to the grow environment, hoping to give a nice boost on her first week of flower, than a rookie mistake happened...of course. I forgot to raise the lamp further up, that caused a slight burn on the tip of a hand-full of leaves. The good news is: she is doing just fine as beautiful as ever. :)) The little girl got another defoliation session and she is recovering well after mainlining last week, but man.... she slow...she very slow. There Is strength on her, I noticed her little branches curving against the mainline ties, she is sassy Im telling you. I am going to insist to see what happens. Overall the girls are doing just fine, my two other seedlings are coming up sweet'n fast, I should've have planted all 4 at the same time! *FutureNote* Now a quick question, what is the lifespan of a Chinese 4'' carbon filter from Amazon? Apparently 5 weeks LOL. Here I am now researching carbon filters, quality + price, to make a new order before my place smells like Snoop Dog's soul. #RookieGrowerProblems Thank you all for following along, Thank you for the tips and advices, Stay Lit folks.

Week 6 on flower stage, so much learning, everyday this plant look different from the day before. The big G is stretching overnight like crazy, almost an inch per day, the main cola is starting to create shape, branches are getting thicker, leaves are nice and full, little flowers forming all over . I am trying to be very carefull with with the humidity level keeping in between 40 - 50% to avoid any type of bud problems. This plant is beautiful. I am still following a nutes schedule provided by GHE, plants love it! Now the mainline attempt was a total fail, lil G did not appreciate the high stress training. Its too much for Auto Flowers, feminized seeds will have enough time to recover after such training, autos not so much...Note to self: no HST on Autos, go read about Budzais.... I got a new carbon filter that seems to be working fine, the 1000W LED is daBomb diggity plants really love it. Cant wait to see what week 7 will bring. Thank you for all the awesome information, tips and suggestions! Stay Lit folks😎

What a great week to observe the flower development of this plant! She is now 26 inches high, and growing! Getting way too close to the light panel, which will eventually start burning the leaves...my light panel is all the way up in the grow tent can't go any higher. I was wondering if I should gently bend the main cola a tiny little bit so I don't get the leaves burned. Any grow hacks...suggestions? She got an LST session done on Day 48 all branches under the main cola holding flower formation were tied down to get more light exposure, I also did cut off some large fan leaves that were giving shadow to baby flowers. Does she look too "naked" to you guys? Is that what she should look like on week 7? Does anyone out there use LED panels that have VEG and FLOWER settings? Do you guys use Veg for VEG stage and Flower for flower stage, or do you turn one VEG + FLOWER switches on flower stage to boost growing? Thank you all for following and helping! Stay Lit fam 😎

Grow Questions

Is my main cola looking right or is it stretching? If I start cutting off all the small growth, fan leaves and little flowers (that barely get light) they are growing on the base of the big branches will I damage the plant?

Many questions there. I would recommend that you use both the veg and bloom switches of your panel, the blue light (veg) will help in keeping the stretch in check. A grow hack for too tall colas? You need to supercrop it, find a still flexible part of the stem put it between your fingers and press firmly until you hear / feel a crunch / snap without breaking the skin, the cola will bend in 90° or so. Finally I would not pluck leaves of an autoflowering plant. The buds will fatten soon, patience.

So last week I was suggested to supper crop the main cola as a solution to the growing tall situation. Even tho the idea of snapping branches sounds totally wrong for me 😱 I did it on the main cola, bending the branch on an angle of 90° and not securing it. In 3 days the unsecured 90° branch was back up fully recovered from the suppercrop, 😂 that was a learning curve. Overall the plant is doing great, flowers looking beautiful on mid bloom, several bud sites, one main cola, the whole plant is covered in shinny frost. This plant have been really good to me a first time Auto growing. Any advice in how to boost week 9 and 10? Happy Grow and stay lit 😎

This plant is such a beauty, every day when I check on her she looks bigger and stronger. There's not much to report other than what you can see on the photos, buds are growing nice and thick the smell coming out of this one plant is unbelievably strong, the bright orange pistils are eye dazzling. I noticed the tip of the leaves turning yellow, according to the articles at GrowWeedEasy they say that the yellow tips is due to over feeding with Nutes. This plant have barely seen just plain water all she gets is water+nutes, which makes me think if I should give her some plain water like every other day. Let me know what you growers think! Stay lit folks🌬️😎

Not much to report, Week 10 and I was expecting the buds to get fat by now, but instead they are skinny, this plant in general is nice and healthy. This is the last week she will be drinking Nutes, week 11 and 12 will be flushing with plain water PH adjusted. There are a bunch of small buds all over so I am curious to see what will this harvest weight. Lower leaves and top main cola leaves turning yellow due to lack of Nitrogen on late flower stage Nutes mixture. Any advice or tips are welcomed! Thanks for all the help folks, Stay lit!

My first time growing this auto flower and what a nice ride! No more Nutes PHed water only, 20 to 30% run off to actively remove any nutrients in the soil, she is still under her flowering 1000w LED panel, The smell and stickiness on this 1 plant is real strong. I did a slight removal of the fan leaves with frost on it, put it on a ziplock and froze it, I will add the rich trim to this bag on harvest day. The pocket microscope I use to check the trichrome is a big pain in the ass because I need to cut off a piece of my plant every time and than place it on a flat surface to be able to operate the microscope focus and zoom. I'd say from observing trichomes are likely 75% cloudy 10% amber, 10% transparent and a 5% dark, give it or take. Thanks for visiting, stay Lit 😎

Great strain for beginners, easy to grow don't require too much attention or special techniques . She will grow fast, gorgeous and smell very very strong, I didn't think I was going to be able to harvest more than an ounce (because this is my first time) but hey, I'm very happy with my 41G! The buds were skinny but dense in flavour, I wonder why the buds didn't get fat, its because of my LED panels, or genetics? Overall I recommend this strain for first time growers!
