This week has been all about shaping the plant. I’ve learned from last that the colas weren’t the same height, because I let the plant do it’s things with just a bit of training. Now I know what to look for so I’m trying my hardest. I top dressed this week with crab meal, Gaia green all purpose 4-4-4, insect frass, kelp meal, bone meal, azomite, and covered it with a healthy serving of worm castings (about an inch to 2 inches). All of which was sprinkled on all the chopped and dropped leaves/branches. I believe in adding biomass to soil, especially for an indoor growing who is money conscious. Doing that can help save me money going back to the store for more soil.

🗓️ Week 17: 3/23 - 3/29 📆 Week 7 of 12/12 🌄 The plant is starting to go into senescence and presenting some beautiful colors as she begins to fade. 💡 Received new lighting courtesy of Growers Choice. They sent me the ROI-E420 with the Master Controller. First impression is amazing. Looks and feels like very high quality build. The spectrum seems more blue than the 3000k lm301H Kingbrite bars I have been using. The bars are thinner and packed with a lot of diodes, so they do run a little hotter than the KB at full power. I adjusted and now running them at 90%. For now the Kingbrite bars are being used as side lighting dimmed to about 30-35% depending on Grow room temps.

This is my wife’s and I first grow and we’re really excited about it even though we’re on a super budget! Here’s a few tips about our set up: Our MarsHydro 1000 Broke So we’ve been using multiple factory in workshop LEDs and lights to ghetto rig a budget late set up. Any advice would be more than welcomed!

Plain RO water

I really enjoyed growing this strain. I hope I can get my hands on it again and take what I've learned and apply it. I didnt have any herm's or anything of the sort. I think Ethos really makes some great genetics. This stuff gets me really good. If i had prevented stretching's, and trained a little bit, I probably could have gotten a half pound out of here. Regardless 5.5 ounces is respectable for a 2nd grow if you ask me. Curing turned out very well. My whole place stinks when I burp these jars. Im OBSESSED with this Rosin. Best smelling and best tasting dabs I've ever had so far. Hope you all enjoyed this diary. I really loved sharing how this strain came out. I hope it comes out even better for all of you guys! We'll see where the future takes me!

Start of week 9 and everything is filling in nicely, 11 more days and it’s harvest time. Not much to report except the smell, fruity, berries, sweet and sour. except pheno 6 the sativa dominate that one smells like grape fruit / hazy.

2/21/2023 - Day 50: Starting pre-bloom this week. Changed the light from 18/6 to 16/8. Also, started adding my bloom nutrients. Watered about 3.5 gallons and threw a little bit of everything in today. Started with Jay Plantspeaker Quillaja as a wetting agent, then added Rootwise Micro Complete, Enzyme Elixer, and Bio-Phos, BuildASoil Big 6, BuildABloom, Coconut Powder, Pure Protein Dry, Yah-Whey, Fermented Comfrey and Fermented Peach. Also top dressed with some BuildAFlower. 2/23/2023 - Day 52: not much to report. Plants are doing great, and seem to like the slightly cooler temps lately. Mainly just been tucking branches under the scrog screen and doing some super cropping in an attempt to keep my canopy even. 2/24/2023 - Day 53: gave the plants their weekly IPM, with a foliar spray at lights out of warm distilled water and BuildASoil EM-5. This is also to clean the leaves in preparation for the flip to flower next week. 2/26/2023 - Day 55: last day of veg. Officially flipping to flower tomorrow. The scrog screen is pretty full, other than the Frozen White Runtz, which is barely reaching the screen. Hoping it will catch up more during stretch. Also, plan to put a second layer of trellis on.

Hey now, hope everyone is having a great weekend. This week went great for the 5 mainlines. I got the final toppings completed for all the ladies, I got them done on the Sundae Driver and Red Hot Cookies on day 38, and the Durban Nights, Green Crack, and the Bubble Runtz topped on day 40 for the final time. At this point there is not much more training left to do, just some minor LST to try and keep all 8 tops per plant level, and some minor defoliation along the way. I am planning to Veg them for 1-2 weeks and flip to flower probably sometime in week 8 depending on how fast they grow. I do have them all on milk crates which are 10" each so I will place them on the floor and adjust the light power probably about the time I flip to flower to accommodate the stretch. I am still feeding GH nutrients, silica, cal mag, and maxi grow. I will transition to flower nutrients approximately one week after flipping to flower. I have found that it is important to continue feeding plenty of Nitrogen through the stretch. The only way I would transition sooner is if I was running out of vertical space. Still very pleased with the Spectrum X from Medic Grow. I am running her at 69% and the plants seem very happy and healthy. The heat and humidity are finally letting up in my region so it is nice to be able to open some windows and drop the temp outside the grow tent. Gorilla Cookies is just about done. I checked the trichromes a few days ago and was starting to get the first amber ones. So I flushed with 5 gallons of ph water. I continue to pour 3 gallons more through every other day till next update which is harvest. Plus keeping it wet in between. Full of frost, and she is trying to fox tail. She is definitely ready to go. Just getting the nutrition out of the plant for a better quality bud, and better taste. This week I did a single topping at the 5th node. Along with this I applied low stress training and tucking to expose the new growth. The leaves seem a little dry on this one, think it’s because I needed a little better air movement In that area, rotated fans and adjusted Rh.
