Just finishing up the second week of budding here. The girls have grown a bit over the last few weeks and I've neglected to measure the heights and update them, the height in this diary is of the tallest of the 4. I'm really starting to see some bud development now, starting to really get excited about the results of this grow!

Just bought some "predatory mites" to kill bad mites and it's working! I've spread half of a bottle in all my babies soil and the situation changed in like 3 days, not even one bug stayed alive. I've used also the Neem oil to prevent flies to go on their leaves and they are fine now. Starting LST, let's see how they will react. Keep you updated folks! Have a wonderful week!

Nov 29: They seem to be accelerating in veg growth but I see a small portion of the leaf on the smaller plant either grew in mutated or somthing cut it, I haven’t seen a single bug in the box so I don’t think it’s that but you never know, and the bigger plant has some issues near the base of its stem, I noticed it before I did the LST and now I’m wondering if I should have addressed that issue before starting the LST. Let me know what you guys think! Dec 2: Walked into the room and noticed a faint smell, wasn’t any smell last night when I started the LST on the slower girl. Further inspection showed some white pistols on the bigger girl, I believe she is the culprit for the smell as the other seems about a week behind. They are both now LST‘d and leaf tucked. Dec 6: I have tied down some of the longer chutes on the bigger plant (will see in week 5 update) to create more airflow and light penetration as I didn’t even realize how bushy the stem and node sections had gotten. I have also cut the chutes coming off the first true leaf. I don’t think I will make any cuts to the smaller one as it’s already a slower growing pheno. Going on a trip starting the end of week secede to late week 8, so I have a automatic feeder coming from Amazon, and I will continue using it through flower to reduce open tent time.

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. 18.08.21 Moin liebe growmies habe diese woche (14.08.21)mit der Umstellung auf 12/12 begonnen und gestern nochmal Nach justiert um die Höhe gleichmäßig zu halten und dabei ist mir eine unfreiwillige Stamm-Spaltung passiert aufgefallen ist mir das ganze erst heut morgen die Blätter hängen nicht und sie wächst unaufhaltsam weiter 👌👌👌👌 was für ein Glück für mich als ich es heute morgen entdeckt habe hätte ich weinen können habe darauf hin die Pflanze begutachtet und mir ist aufgefallen das sie sich nicht daran stört das ganze habe ich jetzt mit Pflanzen Draht stabilisiert und leicht wieder zurück gedrückt, bekomme die wunde aber nicht dicht. da sie schon ab getrocknet war zu dem Zeitpunkt. werde heut abend mal ein Bild machen ohne das die Lampe an ist sie zeigt nämlich schon die ersten Anzeichen von vorblüte und das nach 4 Tagen 12/12 bin begeistert. Die steckies die ich raus gestellt habe wachsen prächtig und wirken insgesamt gesund bin mehr als zufrieden bis jetzt bis auf den kleinen Schock heut morgen....... 19.08.21 habe gestern ewig drüber nach gedacht wie ich das besser fixieren kann und die Stamm-Spaltung besser geschlossen bekomme habe mir was neues überlegt und gleich in die Tat umgesetzt habe breites nylon Band genommen und um die 2 arme jeder Seite gebunden und das ganze Dann gegenüber liegend mit einem Kabelbinder zusammen gebunden und die Spalt stelle so gut es ging wieder geschlossen dabei ist mir dann heute aufgefallen das og purps Nr. 3(gestern Abend noch komplett unversehrt gewesen) heute morgen ebenfalls eine Stamm-Spaltung erlitten hat😭😭😭😵😵😵 also das gleiche mit der Kombination aus breitem nylon Seil und Kabelbinder zur Fixierung jetzt muss ich mir wieder was für die hohe einfallen lassen da die Ladys jetzt wieder höher stehen als die anderen ca 3 bis 4cm 😩😩😩werde dann wohl um das Problem zu lösen mit nylon band an den Zelt Stangen entlang gehen und dann die Äste daran nach aussen ziehen denke mal das ich dann wieder auf Höhe kommen werde (hoffe ich zumindest)........

Colas have increased in size, still looking to develop more mass, trichome production does not seem as abundant as some grows i have done but this strain has only an 8% THC content and a higher CBD ratio. Increased nutes strength by .25 pml to .75 pml. Pistols are still standing upright so no sign of them being ready for harvest, will be studying the trichomes for any amber changes in the next week of flower. The fragrance is getting much stronger and is very fruity and pleasant, unlike most ganja aromas that can be strong and dank, this grow has a very uplifting fresh Bubblelicious scent.

So I had a few issue. I over watered early on, took them out the seed tray early, started feeding them a week or two late, no humidifier yet but they recovered well.

3. Woche Wachstum startet wieder tip-top, Fatty ist gesund und munter und wächst wie wild 😁. 19. Tag Wurde bisschen entlaubt, nur unten 4 Fächerblätter. Oben die großen soweit möglich unter die Seitentriebe gebogen.

Happy with what I’m seeing, roll on another 30 days, any tips appreciated

Started to fed her this watering. 1/2 tsp per gallon Floricro 1/2 tsp FloraGrow 1/4 tsp FloraBloom 1/2 tsp CalMag+ 2ml hydroguard She jumped up 3” in 1.5 days after feeding. She was wanting it bad lol

During the middle of this week I decided to stop the outward training of the branches & the allow vertical growth for beginning bud site formation . I don’t want to miss the beginning flower stretch kinda need it 😂. Decided to break the apical dominance of the main stem by LST’ing down . I noticed it was leagues ahead of the rest of the plant because it hung over the side of the pot so since I need to start slowing it’s vertical growth I figure now Is also time to get the rest of the canopy to catch up leaving me to space things accordingly later when/if necessary . Also decided to go ahead and do my 1st & last additional feeding since these girls where planted all I’ve had to do this grow was water when dry & train her to the best of my abilities.
