Day 49: Today I changed the light schedule to 12/12. Notice some nute burn signs 3 days ago, gave plain water last feeding, Runoff was 369ppm/Ph:6.4. They seem to be very sensitive over 600ppm and start burning. Day 52: Feeding day today: 1ml Calmag, 1.5ml Silica, 5ml Micro, 2ml Gro, 5ml Bloom, 2.5ml Humic acids + a scoup of great white. Diluted to 540ppm. Ph: 6.5 / Runoff: 700ppm, Ph: 5.8. The girls are starting the stretch. Day 54: Today I did some more training with those cheap bending clips I found on aliexress. Stretch seems fast!

Day 42-49 (Day 42) Just watered today but couldn’t go until runoff because I didn’t have enough RO. I forgot to add the probiotic too. Nonetheless, everything is starting to recover from those weird deficiencies and is looking super healthy. Plants are really bushing out now too. I had to top the zkittlez and BBB#3 again as they are just getting too big. Nothing is definitively showing sex yet but I’m seeing clues. Shouldn’t be long now. If I get 4 females or less I will use 10gal pots, 5-7 fem 5gal pots and 8-12 3gal pots. I need to stop overwatering. Even though it doesn’t look too overwatered, it is much better to water a little bit each day at lights on. This will help keep the humidity down as well as deliver optimal oxygen to the roots speeding up plant growth considerably. (Day 45) Gave an EM1 spray down today. The beneficial bacteria is said to overpopulate surfaces so powdery mildew and septoria can’t form. Something seems to be really working as I haven’t seen any yet. (Day 47) I sealed up the tent and am running both dehumidifiers and it’s keeping the RH around a safe 70% night and day which is right on track with VPD. Plants are all looking super healthy. Deficiencies have pretty much all cleared up. Cold nights I’m running 600w and warmer nights I’ll run 400w. I was asking around Instagram about white ash/good burn and a few different people assured me it has to do with mineral content of the soil. I was told the three best products for clean ash is glacial rock dust/basalt, oyster shell flour and langbeinite. I already have langbeinite so I’ll grab the other amendments today and top dress. I grabbed the amendments and also got some Destiny Organics dark matter super soil, coco and some beneficial nematodes. Top dressed each amendment except langbeinite and mulched in some coco coir. (Day 48) My shelf came in today and I think it may be to big for the 4x4 tent. Each square is 12”, not the 11.8” advertised. I could wipe down my flower room and set it up in there which would give my plants a good adjustment to the new lights before I flip. Or I could set it up in the veg tent but that seems like a huge hassle as the need to be moved and flipped soon anyway. I wish they would show sex already so I can toss out the plants I’m not keeping. For flower I am considering starting over fresh with the new Destiny soil and coco mixed with some amendments. I’m concerned that my current mix might be too hot. I could also dilute it with the Destiny/coco mix. Those little bulb mites that came in with the worm castings are a little concerning as well. Some say they are just beneficial composters aka “worm bin mites” and others are telling me they’re predatory bulb mites which destroy crops like garlic. I’m leaning towards beneficial composters but in another grow I watched them devour a seedling before it sprouted. Gotta check the current roots but the plants aren’t quite ready to be transplanted. (Day 49) Got everything in the flower tent wiped down and sprayed with alcohol then EM1 few hours later. Got the shelf set up and got all my temp controls set up and running. I put the controllers outside the tent this time and will patch any light leaks. Gave a lite compost tea at 830ppm and a velokelp foliar spray at 6ml/L. This will be the last veg feeding before I transplant into their final containers on the 31st. BCTG#2 is a confirmed male and I pulled him. No one else is showing definitively. Roots looked super healthy with very few mites but I’m not 100% convinced they’re all clean. I saw a few mites on leaves today too. Saw a bit of droop after the move but they all look happy just a few hours later. Took a few clones from some sucker branches on a few of the blackberries.

Day 71 - Starting week 11 off with a bang and love the look and smell of this girl. She’s really starting to fatten up and and need her to start filling in more. Thinking about 2-3 weeks max before she’s ready to chop and looking forward to it. Gave her the first of her week 11 feedings today and might cut her off to just water starting week 12. Day 72 - No big changes or updates. She’s fattening up and filling in beautifully. Will most likely start flushing after the end of this week. Day 73 - Gave her a second feeding today and next one will be Saturday. All is looking great and thinking she’s in track to be chopped at the end of week 13 but will keep and eye on her. Still some clear trichs but a lot of milky in there. She looks gorgeous! Day 75 - Looks great and on track for a chop at the end of week 13. Gave her the last feeding today and will water with straight water and Sledgehammer from here on out to start flushing her out. Day 76 - Closing in on the end of week 11 and she’s just as pretty as ever. Gave her some water today as she seemed to be screaming for it. Will probably do one more week of feedings then flush her with sledgehammer during week 13 and she should be ready for chopping. Day 77 - Ending week 11 and looks great. Have a few leaves showing deficiencies but not sure if it’s because she’s coming to the end of her life or somethings missing. Runoff pH was a little high so worked to correct that today, we’ll see if that helps. If not, she’s only got 2 weeks left.

2/4: Photo session day! Both of these girls do seem to be mostly sativa, as billed. The have a very pungent aroma..not quite normal. I removed most of the lower fan leaves. I had a total infestation of Cattus (felis) which I documented in my photos. Eradication seems impossible, so I'm opting to allow a degree of predation, but hoping trichome production will, at least, deter them soon.😁 2/5: I fed everybody today with about 3/4 gallon each and sprayed them down with Axiom harpin proteins for the last time this run. I made a DIY CO2 generator today using a 5 gallon cat litter bucket, a small aquarium pump, some air line tubing, and a bubble stone, plus 6 cups of sugar and 30 grams of wine yeast in 2 gallons of warm water. I put the tube where the CO2 is exhausted up against the back of the oscillating fan that aims down over the plants so they are being constantly forcefully bombarded with high levels of CO2(1300+ppm) from above. I set the ac infinity controller to allow the temps to climb up to 89f before the fan turns on. 2/6: These girls aren't stretching much, but continue to spend energy on their lower branches. I bought some Gro-Pro pot risers to elevate the pots so that they will dry out faster..seem pretty effective. 2/7: I foliar fed with big bloom and tiger bloom today. 2/8: I ordered a second 6" AC Infinity fan to connect to my controller, some ducting, and a diffuser which I'll mount to the wall, down near the floor. The fan unit will be in another closet, adjacent to the garden closet, and I'll run ducting up through that closet ceiling into the attic, with a filter on the end to keep bugs and particulates out. For the next 6 weeks or so, it will provide a supply of colder fresh air. I did the math, and it will now only take about 1 minute and 40 seconds to completely exchange the air in the closet. Depending on the outside air temp at the time, it should take anywhere between 8 and 20 minutes for the closet to heat back up to 80f and the fans to kick back on again. This Spring, on days when it's warmer than 72f outside, I'll disconnect the duct in the closet and stretch it into that bedroom, clipped to the window unit air conditioner output, cranked down as low as it will go. This Summer, I'm gonna just run a pair of the quantum boards and grow 4 or 5 autos in there, but this should help keep the temps cooler in summer as well, without dedicating an air conditioner to the grow op.🙏 2/9: I foliar fed them with grow big, big bloom, and tiger bloom and checked moisture in their pots. They're due for a good watering tomorrow.

Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. This strain has a very interesting high, I and my girlfriend did a test on her at about week 2 of cure and found she has a very sweet minty mango tinge, but a more of a minty tea smell with a bit of sour tinge once you crack that bud open to put it in the grinder. She smokes amazing all white ash and a very dense but romantic softness to her. At first I was bummed smoking this strain because knowing it only peaks at around 17% supposedly I did not expect a very strong bud already, but when I smoked her I got almost a very gradual increase after a few minuets of puffing almost like a euphoric wave was slowly rushing over my eyes and head like a tide coming in on a beautiful night after a long day at the beach. I felt quite sativa stoned with it growing in intensity in my face and eyes, then after I finished my joint I went inside for a glass of water and as soon as I sat down, it really hit me and my girlfriend right in the ass, I was couch locked and so was she, but in a very odd way, I was not indica deep, but I was more a good hybrid deep, a very relaxing eye and face buzz with quite relieving muscle tension I felt amazing, my body was so bloody relaxed! I felt just comfortable like a cozy blanket and a fire on a cold December day, hot chocolate in hand. This strain from start of smoke, to burn out was a very calm and needed high for me and my lady. We both burned out and slept like rocks, like someone had just given the worlds best massage in my brain and bones. I woke up the next morning feeling quite refreshed after that eye relaxing euphoric head high and my back and legs felt very relaxed and ready for a great day! So in my opinion! A good 6/10 for max potency but a 10/10 for flavour and enjoyment. Over all I give this strain a 8/10 in my books, a 17% is all I need and I’m betting she came out around that, of course without lab testing I can not prove that. But I love this strain and the high it gives, one single 0.5 joint got me fried, and the next day I finished off 3 bowls and went to fucking muchie land so he’ll yeah! Give candy cane a try!! Also! Sorry about the lack of info! I did not have a scale when it was in wet weight, I also had a whole half a plant chopped to branches and the big buds left on the plant to hang dry slow, so I was not able to get it on a scale until dried a week later due to my work schedule and having stores open as I’m in the shop and close as I leave.
