I was having issues working in my current 6.5’x6.5’ tent so I upgraded to 8’x8’, I think the ladies will appreciate the extra room.🌳 I will post more pics when the ladies are moved over and in their new home.
The transfer was a success! Went from a 5’ x 4’ Scrog to 8’ x 8’ and gave them a 40 Gal drink of water.
Also was able to drop the taller ladies to have an even canopy.
Watered 50 Gal fresh plain PHed water, ppm was around 2100 so if the 50 gal doesn’t dilute it enough then I will vac out the remaining water and rinse out the totes to get the salt/sandy particles off the bottom.
I noticed the 2 mars 1600 leds are not getting light evenly to all the canopy so for my next crop I will be getting 2-6’ light rails and stagger the lights as they move, at 5-15 watts each they should be more efficient than getting 2 more 630watt leds.
Also next crop I will be downsizing my scrog to a 7’ x 7’ giving me a 1’ perimeter for working & admiring 🙏🤤
Nice transition to a freaking huge grow space! Those big Mars lights give off a lot of heat - the head space will be so useful. Your girls are getting monstrous.
Thanks hopefully they enjoy the extra space, unfortunately after I took them out of the smaller tent there was ALOT of growth( in between each plant )that died off because of crowding and now that I spread them out in the larger tent the canopy looks super thin in areas.
Actually the mars lights I have only bring my tent to +25 and during 12 hour lights out it goes down to +22-23ish, I’m very impressed with how little amount of heat they give off and would recommend these any day.

Lol yeah it’s actually getting overwhelming, I recently purchased a 8x8 tent and will probably have them transferred over by the weekend, that’s if I have it set up by then 😂
Really nice set up. Just heads up, you’re gonna have a tough time managing them without LST or topping during flowering because you’re going hydro and these plants double or triple in vertical growth during the preflower phase. Good luck!
Thanks I’ll keep that in mind. I topped my last hydro crop and they stretched 16” in flower, I wanted the height for the vertical scrog test so I didn’t top at all this crop.
I loved DWC !! Plants so healthy. I will give you a tip ....look into crop steering technique you will be blown away at your yield. This round you did about .5 gram/watt ...you could easily DOUBLe that in 3 months instead of 6 months. One thing is starting from clone your veg time will be about 14-20 DAYS then flip to flower . You had a beautiful grow.....but 6 months indoors you can yield 2 crops. First time I crop steered I DBLD my yield...this last pull I did about 1.26 gram/watt. I just see you have everything it takes to be waay better than what ur doing :)

My grams per watt is incorrect on this site, it says my lights are 800 watts but are actually putting out 630watts, I’m not sure how to change it but whateves lol

I tent to start with seeds because I am switching up my strains each grow, I also don’t have room for a mother plant so I’m stuck doing it this way. 🤷♂️
I’m running 2 Mars 1600 leds side by side and so far I am very impressed with the quality, density and size of the buds it produces.
Also have 2-8” air stones in each tote, highly recommended for larger totes.
