Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Week 15 / 6th week in bloom :) One more week done, and even closer to harvest! Both my girls are looking great and starting to smell quite strong, I just love it!

Well here we are tomorrow will be the start of week ten from seed !! Rhino number #1 ! And white Russian are entering week 6 of flowering also start to flush !! Rhino number #2 will be starting week 4 of flowering and is growing amazing !!! So far things are running smoothly I have adjust lights from 24 to 18 to help keep humidty down !!! 34 inches for rhino 2 And 32 for rhino 1 The smell is strong and smells amazing !!! Also a fastbuds purple lemonade in a 11 litre pot (30grams)a a original cheese in a 2 litre pot(experimenting)which is not ready yet. Strawberry pie.....wow so impressed with the yield but also the looks are amazing and smells like strawberries... who’d of thought it lol. Recommend to everybody will defo grow again. Hello Growmies, The final chapter of this incredible journey has unfolded, and it's time to share the bountiful harvest and reflections on the entire cultivation process. Trimming the plant was a joy, and with gentle fingers, I removed all the large fan leaves. The precision in this process revealed the true beauty of the buds, setting the stage for a smooth harvest. With care and gratitude, the plant was chopped, and the buds were hung to dry. The anticipation for what lies ahead only adds to the sense of accomplishment. The wet weight, excluding fan leaves, stands at an impressive 782 grams. The buds are massive, a testament to the efficacy of the nutrients used, particularly the Power Buds. The name seems apt, as the result is a collection of sticky, dense buds with subtle lemon notes and sweet pungent undertones. In the final moments, the plant unveiled some delightful purple hues. While I wish I could have allowed them to intensify further, it's a reminder that each grow is a learning experience. In hindsight, a slightly longer fading period would have accentuated those beautiful colors. We live and learn, and that's the essence of this journey. La semaine 6 avec la Banana Purple Punch est une vraie fête! Elle semble adorer l'engraissement, bien mieux que la LSD 25 qui n'a pas apprécié l'excès d'azote. La Banana Purple Punch, elle, semble s'en régaler et montre un appétit gourmand. Croisons les doigts pour voir les têtes grossir dans les jours à venir, tout s'est déroulé comme sur des roulettes jusqu'à présent. J'ai boosté les nutriments au maximum avec des algues et le booster de floraison, restant prudent en dosant à la moitié pour les nutriments NPK, avec une exclusion d'azote et une réduction à la moitié pour le phosphore, suivant de près les recommandations du fabricant. Un énorme merci à Louloutre pour sa patience et ses analyses perspicaces qui ont rendu cette aventure encore plus agréable! 🌿🌟

11/21/2020 Soaked in water 24 hours all seed fell to bottom, put in paper towel over night and 6 out of 10 have sprouted. In this cross I will be looking for powdery mildew immunity first and foremost. ( goal achieved see week 15) Also hope to make cookie cake stretch more and bring a sativa influence. 11/28/2020 One week old today 5 out of 10, 6th sprout had stem rot 60% germination. Now hope for 3 girls at least 🙏

Amazing week for my monsters 😁 was so good for them, I hope to continue like this and we got to have an amazing end 💚 they are now on very early stage of flowering because I flipped the middle of 6th week to 12/12.

Week 4 Last week was good gave the last defoliation for day 21. Adding a higher feed for her. If you are lonely when you are alone, then you are in bad company. Bee pollen is considered a “vitamin bomb” due to the presence of almost all vitamins with an average of 0.02–0.7% of its total content, with a higher amount of water-soluble than fat-soluble vitamins. Bee pollen contains vitamins A, D, E, B1, B2, B6, and C. It also provides minerals such as calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, zinc, copper, manganese, iron, and selenium, I mixed a bunch of that with some honey and RAW cane molasses to make a nice big bucket of tea. A family friend who is a beekeeper was kind enough to share some honey. The nutritional content of raw honey is impressive and includes high levels of protein, amino acids, B vitamins, calcium, manganese, potassium, magnesium, zinc, and iron, as well as various polyphenolic antioxidants. I am loading up nature's finest sugars, and sweet things, Honey & Mollases. UV-B-induced DNA damage (CPDs and 6–4 PPs) can be repaired efficiently by photolyases. Pyrimidine dimers can be repaired by nucleotide excision repair (NER), or bypassed by replicative polymerases (Britt 2004). The camera picks up far more light than there is during the night cycle, camera is showing bright pink violet collages but my eyes barely see a thing, about 0.25ppfd in that tent overnight. Have been tweaking the spectrum of moonlight/intensity and watching the responses overnight. Tweak, tweak, tweak all week. PAR is 400-700nm, Overnight UVA in the tent is all 365nm and 385nm, so the meter only picks up a fraction of the light curve that makes it photosynthetically active past 400nm. Of the light in the tent, 0.25ppfd is from UVA Looks like It makes them 🕺 🕺 💃 all night. Better flower soon or ill be screwed for space, they are stretching, but is it "the stretch"? She has fire in her belly. Growing crops with insufficient light (i.e., below “optimal,” as defined here) limits the yield potential, which in turn wastes the other production inputs including labour, water, nutrients and electricity. As lighting fixture is one of the most expensive investment of the production, what is the relationship between light intensity and yield? Potter and Duncombe (2012) grew cannabis plants with varying canopy-level PPFDs during the flowering stage and found that increasing PPFD from 400 to 900 μmol·m−2·s−1 increased yield an average of 1.3 times higher, across seven cultivars, with no light intensity treatment effects on floral cannabinoid concentrations. "Less than one half of one foot-candle of light (0.1ppfd) from sunlight will prevent cannabis from flow­ering. That is a little more light than is reflected by a full moon on a clear night. Well-bred indica-dominant plants will revert within three days. Sativa-dominant plants take four to five days to revert to vegetative growth. This week is getting closer but still not close to the size I want pre flower. I turned down the lights and got some fertilizer to see if I can coax them to grow up. I think I've been light shocking them. 12/25 I hiked down the light and got the some fertilizer and you can see the diff in just one day of fertz and less light, more humidity
