Days 78-84 - Been lax in updates, but I still log every week to completion. Back injury in addition to The Nineteen, Rona Style, has been a bit of a pain in the posterior. (That means ass) Plants are gigantic and sassy. Had Dangergirl come out and defoliate/lollipop the bottoms out of the girls, saving me painful labor and increasing my yields, so yay for her! Plants are happy, pompoms are getting thick, and everything looks good. Switched FF01 to flower on day 84.

pictures are taken last day of the 7th week since getting the seed
if i didn't use lst, it would be 27+30 cm high (measured the horizontal main stem)
i added molasses this time, for taste, instead of other booster besides the pk solution
also i threw in some chicken fertilizer pellets in to add some organic power to the soil
i like the taste of mineral, but my heart is with bio, so i use both
somehow the flower is looking like it's wanting to finsh already.
very nice experiment, instead of 18-20 or 24 hours of light for autoflower, i dd 12/12 from seed, guessing that the 7 proposed flowering time would be for the 18 minimum hours of light. I think it will be ready within that time, let's wait for that moment, whatever comes out is nice, her bud is starting to make me stare already...

A little over a week in the fade. She is just starting to show deficiency signs a little. Will likely be harvesting next week. Got some beautiful frosty buds, that smell amazing. Thanks again fast buds

Day 38 since starting germination:
Everything is looking healthy and happy. I’ve continued leaf tucking & LST. Upped the amount of Diamond nectar from 1ml/gal to 4ml/gal and added Liquid Koolbloom to the feed. Keeping the lights on 20/4 has kept the average low temp a degree higher at 66. I also changed the positioning of the lights. Now the Atreum hydra-3200 is providing ~700 ppfd across the canopy.
At this point I’m starting to feed for flower so when I did my water change I also changed the orientation of my RDWC buckets. I removed the bucket with the Northern Lights photo period from the loop so it could be connected to its own reservoir and be fed a veg nutrient solution while the Sour D auto gets its bloom nutrients.
I’ve seen some saying a ph of ~6.5 is more ideal for autoflowers so I will be trying that this feed…which works out nice because my solution happened to be right there after mixing the nutrients.

9th Week
I'm trying to address the deficiencies, I believe it's due to using coconut substrate. I am gradually reducing the daily light exposure by 1 hour until reaching 12/12. As it's the first time with Delta 9 in the cultivation, I have trow it foliarly.

A nice Harvest From a nice plant , she had some nutrients problems but she din't care .
Gave me a nice 40 Grams yield I'm just realy satisfied nice's looking and smelling plant i ever had!

Rinse and washed with hydrogen peroxide and tap water. The system was rinse until achieved a ppm of 100 with clean water before adding new water and nutrients.
Feed 12 gallons of tap water with 1/4 Flora pro-series RDWC week #3 vegetation.
🌿 Daisy - She was cloned today. 4 Clones were taken from upper area. 2nd and 3rd node from top to bottom. Each around 2”-3”. Couple fan leaves were also removed.

May 15: later start as a replacement for my failure on Durban Poison. Have wanted to fit this one in for a while and should be an easy and reliable grow.
Top tip for germination stage is get a heating mat. My house is usually about 18 C but cannabis, tomatoes and pepper all need it warmer to start properly. So, get a heating mat. i usually keep it at about 26 C.
Next germination tip is to expose the newly sprouted seed to ethylene gas just before it first reaches light. This is a huge tip for all growers.
Seed ‘priming’ using ethylene gas in dark before seedling is exposed to light.

Seed priming works. I tried it last year on peppers, tomatoes and cannabis. 😎 This is as big a tip as my standard “get a pH meter”.
Seed priming takes minimal effort (use a ripe apple or banana) and it certainly seems to pay off big time as shown by my last two seasons. I’ll be doing this every single time now.

Its running perfect, but my Photos want to flowering. 🌼🌸🌺 I think the pineapple and papaya needs round about 10days to harvest. 🍍 The trichomes are currently still in the milky stage. 🥛✨

It was a great week for this Sour D pheno. She is really starting to fatten up now and is noticeably different after every dark period in terms of the size of her flowers. She is getting tricky to move to the shower where I normally water so she will likely not move again until she is cut. This makes the watering process more tedious but it is a necessary evil to avoid any unwanted mishaps this late in the game. I already caused her to lean a bit from swaying back and forth carrying her across the room during the last fertigation.
The buds still dont have a hugely pronounced smell (like I'd expect from Sour D) or much trichome coverage but I am reassured by the fact that she seems to be a late bloomer and is apparently just starting to take off in terms of flower production. I've only seen a scant number of orange pistils so I think she still has several weeks to go. If she starts to take on that characteristic gassy smell as puts on some frost so I can press her into decent rosin, I'll be more than happy with this run when it's all said and done.

She is expanding and drinking more and more water. The smell is getting stronger as well.
At the end of next week she gets a lollipopping which is good because I cant reach the soil anymore without making some leaves wet.

▶️Saturday 10.21.23 Removed the humidity domes today, the humidity in the closet is sitting above 75% pushing 80% RH, and will be misting for a few more days, the pushed down just enough to keep the plants engaged, for the next week will maintain the 24h light cycle, then reduce to 20 for week 2 and 18 for week 3 for the rest of the grow. Lost 1 of the 3 seedlings, looks like I did not have it planted very well and it came up and fell over, if it was a photoperiod I would have put it back into a paper towel and neutered it, and replanted, but a stunted Auto produces less fruit.
▶️Wednesday 10.25.23 - These ladies are doing well, and just starting to grow, going to move the light cycle from 20/4 to 18/6 on Saturday.
