Beginning of week 10. At the point now, where I really need to start checking trichomes more closely. Some branches are clearly weeks behind, so I will be doing partial harvests. Planning on chopping the first part in a few days. (About 15% of one plant that was always ahead of the others). On day 65, I partially harvested one of the plants, I would have liked to wait longer but these were clearly done. Still most of the plant remains, will see how she responds! A few days later now. The now exposed buds from the partially harvested plant are loving all the new light, very glad I used this method. Nothing notable otherwise, all the rest are just packing on more weight by the day

Okay so I'm trying something new, since I've gone away from a switch to water for the last week flush I harvested the tops and best smalls and packed the cannatrol full. I'm giving the under growth a bit more time to rippen before I harvest that for the the freezer. If this turns out to be a bad idea I'll not do it again in the future. The last long video is what's left in the tent right now. Let me know if any of you have experience doing this. Updated with a bunch of pictured of dried and cured. Ended up with 186g of beautiful flower. 72g of untrimmed smalls I'll make into RSO, I have a lot of back and nerve pain and RSO hands down the only thing that brings me actual relive, I'm late to the party on this one but I set a side part of the grow for it now. I let the under canopy and shorter tops go another 10 days feed at half strength and I'm glad I did, it ripened up nicely and definitely got a lot of color. I forgot to get pictures of that harvest but I will when I pull it from the freezer to wash. My test jar of this washed at 4+% (the last picture). Last update will be results of that wash. Last update on this one, I added a couple hash/rosin pics at the end. She washed from plant to rosin at 4.03% the terps are musky skunk, sweet pastries, and fresh Linen. I'd definitely grow this one again.

She started out pretty slowly, but blew up around preflower. Soon her side branches has matched the canopy, and soon after that every flowering site had matched the canopy. Crazy density and trichome coverage, all the buds turned either a deep purple or pink hue. Smells like fruity candy and floral cologne. Will not train her next time around, just let her do her thing since she’ll stay naturally short.

This week was mostly about getting everything ready for the vegetative phase. I will start to add some nutrients this week. I will first flush out most of the old water that has been running through the system for about 2 weeks now. When the plants get a little bigger I will add some nutrients and try get my EC level up to around 0.7 with the help from the very supportive people over at EHG nutrients. They have offered to sponsor me through this grow with nutrients which will be of great help. They are a local South African company, so for any one from South Africa 🇿🇦 please check them out. I have added an oscillating fan to add to the airflow en strengthen my seedlings whilst they start to grow stronger. Due to my humidity being a bit lower than what I want it to be, I have decided to add an air purifier/humidifier which will hopefully add some humidity to the tent. I am aiming for about 65% RH and will be monitoring this closely. My lights are currently at 40% strength. I am making use of a panel heater to break the winter cold and will be aiming to be at around 25 degrees Celsius (77 degrees Fahrenheit). I have added an Mycelium bag which is an alternative way to add extra co2 to your grow. This helps the plant to absorb nutrients better and handle the temperatures a bit better. I will be adding photos as the week continues.

The demo clips show how the nutrient and air supply are being delivered to the root zone. After the flooding of the root zone to the top of the container, the pump turns "off" and the nutrient solution simply drains back down the supply pipe and out of the pump intake, which in effect, has now has become the outlet :)

******** Week 8 - Jan 27 to Feb 2/20 (Days 50 - 56 from seed popping out) She has continued to swell this week and stacking her buds. The hairs have remained a nice bright white all week pointing up. Noticing some curling a bit of the hairs towards end of the week. They are white but there is a small red hair here and there now. Giving her a couple more days of feed but flush is here soon. Heavier leaf strip on Wednesday and have continued through out as rotating her in the tent under the light. Took off probably 25%. Looked at a couple of lower buds and was going to strip them but at this point figured the heck with it and a little more for rosin😃 She is dark in my opinion and hope she will continue to feed and work through all that nitrogen. She was also given a feeding this week with Epsom Salts. A lot of red on some of the other plants so worked Magnesium Sulphate in that way. I think I could have gone harder on the CalMag earlier and/or introduced epsom salt earlier as well. Changed the light schedule this week. Moved her to 19 hours of light because she is not falling to sleep at lights out. I know that I could have the lights closer but given how Skywalker has grown I can’t lower them as much as I would like. Will try compensating with longer daylight period.😉 Worth a try! Will keep up Liquid Weight and Rezin to the end and see how she is as a result. Not used these supplements before. Not sure if I will use AN Flawless Finish this run or not? Little more detail: Jan 27/20 - Day 50 - Feed: 2L - Mass @ 4ml, Terp@ 3ml, Vitathrive&Rezin&LW8@ 2ml, DF@ 1ml = 1150ppm with 6.0pH - pot was light Jan 28/20 - Day 51 - 2L: Rezin @ 2ml, CalMag & LW8 @ 1.5ml = 360ppm. Left a lower pH this feed. - Used heavier CalMag today as purple stems is increasing.....looking at using Epsom Salts. - striped some leaves today but hers a pretty narrow so left quite a few. - tip burn more prominent in spots today. Jan 29/20 - Day 52 - full feed today as listed above. 3L - 1125ppm with 6.2pH - runoff: 1000ppm with 6.1pH - continued leaf strip. Jan 30/20 - Day 53 - 2L feed: Epsom Salt @ 1tsp/G, Rezin & LW8 @ 1.5ml, Dual Fuel A and B @ 1ml = 1000ppm 6.15pH - used Epsom Salt today. - They were very happy today in the morning. Swelling up. - They are not falling to sleep at night so moving to 19 hours light. First day. Jan 31/20 - Day 54 - Feed: 2L - Sensyzime @ 2ml/L - 30ppm 6.15pH - plain water feed today. Sensyzime to clean up the roots. - Feb 1/20 - Day 55 - dry out day. Nothing at all today. - give nice perfect feed tomorrow. Getting close to end of feedings make sure medium is correct. Feb 2/20 - Day 56 - pot nice and dry today. She was happy this morning and given a large feed. - 4L of full strength for the week. - run off 1400ppm and 6.4pH...... - Took a few more leaves. - See very little red hairs. Still mainly nice straight shinny white.....keep going girl.....no rush! - she is just a beauty actually. She has been suffering through a high pH and still manages to grow swell. Fourthish week of flower and they have begun to pray 🙏🏼 well, most of them anyways. The largest still is suffering from an untreated overwatering and over nuteing condition but the others are looking nice! The ones on the roof were in full prayer and loved the hot afternoon direct sun. At this point, giving the flowers a squeeze rewarded you with sticky fingertips and a smell of stinky gouda cheese or similar. Crystals were starting to form on the sugar leaves which was exciting to watch for the first time. I was thoroughly impressed with the prayer formation that these plants assumed when conditions were prime. Very cool! You could see how the plant was able to maximize leaf surface area exposure while blocking the least amount of light from the leaves below. The light was being run on 100% and temps would be between 83 and 85 degrees. I was OK running it a bit hotter as it's an LED light. I like the light a lot - especially it's precision. Each 25% dim increment correlated to 2 degrees temp change. Nice!

From week 1 and 2 i thought betty was going to be a non starter but at week 6 she is 2/3 her ideal indoor height, 1m, and looking strong, healthy and green.

Everything looking normal so far, had some ph issues a bit and 1 plant took it a bit harder and seems to have looked out. Got a lot of its guard leaves spotting but it’s nothing to worry about really, plants aren’t always perfect looking... corrected it quick I think so she should be fine in a few days. Cheers 💨

Week 5 | LSD Auto | Vegetation One week outside and she’s made her feelings very clear. From 18cm at transplant to 50cm this week — the combination of full sun and the freedom of the 12L airpot has lit a fire under her. Structure is strong, internodes tight, canopy spreading well in all directions. Temperatures have been running hot with 35°C during the day and dropping to 18°C at night — a wide swing, but she’s handling it without complaint. Humidity holding at 60%. Natural light schedule at 17 hours for now. Watering is up to 1L per plant per 24h to match the increased demand in the heat. EC stepped up to 1.2 mS/cm, pH steady at 6.2. Nutrient stack adjusted to meet her new pace: CANNA Aqua Vega at 3 ml/l, CalMag Agent at 0.9 ml/l, Aptus Regulator at 0.1 ml/l. Updates every Sunday. Stay tuned.

09/14/2018 I'm not sure if any pollen took. New flowers coming in so fast, and I cant see much but pure white pistils,so we will see in about 6 weeks. No feeding this week just molasses for soil microbes 1tablespoon to a gallon and let mother nature do her thing.😎

This week I focused only on bending and tucking the branches under the scrog net, trying to fill the entire space as evenly as possible. No other changes were made — just guiding the growth and keeping the canopy level. If everything continues like this, I might flip to flower next week 🌿💪

This week has been going well, a bit cold in the dark hours! But these girls have been starting to flower nicely and im super excited! Its taken me some time to get the watering down with the living soil but im making it work! Ayeee much love, excited for this northern lights ✨️ happy growing

6/12 day 56 she's finishing pretty quickly. I'm going to push her another week or so and aim for 9 weeks total

Hi guys, As you probably can tell I am in transition right now. I have all the photos, I just need to organize them and post them in the correct order. But by the looks of it, I had a light timer malfunction on me a few ago when I moved the ladies to the 4x8 tent. So by the looks of it, I think she is more in the second to third week of flowering.
