To get higher temperatures I placed the growbox near the radiator, dimmer still at 25%, boiled tap water also this week, this guaranteed me an ideal for the beginning, from now on I will use mountain water which will allow me to use less fertilizer.

Crescimento enorme nesta última semana! Talvez esteja um pouco mais fina do que pretendido mas pode ter sido de a ventoinha começar a trabalhar apenas na terceira semana. Não sei se se encontra já na floração visto terem aparecido já uns quantos pistilos mas ela não pára de crescer!!! 🤔🤔 Será que devo considerar que já está na floração? E trocar a dosagem dos ferts? Help pls!!!

Girls have really taken off this week with explosive growth. All of these photos and videos are on day 21 of the grow. Plan on doing some low stress training shortly. Increased the nutrients by a bit this week! Lowered lights to 22ish inches. Cal mag 2ml Micro 2.5ml Gro 2.5 Bloom 1ml And slowly increasing the water amount each feed. They are reacting nicely to this approach so I will continue to do so.

Started in shot glass with 6.0 150ppm achieved using superthrive and a drop of calmag. Soaked 24hrs, then placed on damp paper towel in Tupperware on a heat pad. Following morning, taproot had formed so transferred to rockwool. With same 6.0 solution. Following morning, they had broken ground. Update, they have developed their first true leaves and were starting to stretch under 7k, so I turned the lights up to 13k then 15k lux and they seem to be loving it. The rdwc has been running for days and no leaks or malfunctions so far. Once I harvest my 4x8 I will be building a similar system in it, but with 2, 2 site totes with the intention of vegging in this 2x4 for 4-5 weeks then taking the entire lid with the plants and putting in the 4x8 tote for flower. Then immediately start 2 more in the veg tent. Keep 3 sets of 2 in 4-5 week rotation and potentially harvest every 1.5 months, depending on how long it takes em to finish of course.

D108: After the stress we experienced, we managed to recover with a yield of 60-70%. We will start monitoring trichomes in the 8th week. Continuing with two waterings, one with fertilizer and one with calcium, we proceed.

🍇 Purple Haze Photoperiod – Phenotype B | Week 4 (Vegetation) The Bush That Wants Every Ray of Light Week four belonged to Purple Haze B. While her sister is preparing for life on the AutoPot system, this girl is following a different path, remaining as a hand-watered control plant for what will become a very interesting side-by-side comparison later in the grow. Even though they are sharing identical conditions, genetics, nutrients, and training philosophy, every phenotype writes its own story. That is exactly why I love phenotype hunting. This one has chosen to become a compact jungle. ⸻ 🌱 Week 4 Overview What a transformation. During the week she exploded sideways, filling every available space with healthy branches and fresh growth. Instead of stretching upward, she invested her energy into building a dense, symmetrical canopy that is becoming thicker every single day. From above she already resembles a small green island. Large solar-panel fan leaves overlap beautifully while dozens of vigorous shoots continue racing toward the light. Every new node appears healthy, evenly spaced and ready to become another flowering site once the transition begins. The rich emerald color tells me everything is working together exactly as intended. Sometimes the healthiest plants are the ones that simply don’t give you anything to complain about. This is one of those. ⸻ 🌿 12/12 From Seed As with every plant in this project, Purple Haze B is being grown using my favorite 12/12 From Seed method. The lighting schedule stays at 12 hours from germination until harvest, allowing the plant to naturally progress through its life without ever experiencing a traditional vegetative photoperiod. The goal isn’t maximum size. The goal is efficiency, fast turnaround, excellent quality, and discovering how each genetic expresses itself under these conditions. Every phenotype reacts differently. That’s exactly what makes this project so exciting. ⸻ 🌱 Low Stress Training (LST) This week’s training focused exclusively on Low Stress Training. Rather than cutting or removing growth, branches are gently bent and positioned to create a flatter canopy. Why? Because every branch that receives equal light has the opportunity to become a productive flowering top. LST offers several advantages: • Improves light penetration throughout the canopy. • Encourages multiple dominant tops instead of one main cola. • Creates better airflow inside dense plants. • Produces a more even canopy before flowering. • Increases the number of quality bud sites. Watching this little bush respond over the week has been incredibly satisfying. Every adjustment rewarded me with even more vigorous growth just a day or two later. ⸻ ? Why This Plant Is Staying Hand Watered Although she’s growing inside an AutoPot container, this phenotype is intentionally NOT connected to the AutoPot system yet. She will serve as the comparison plant while her sister begins receiving gravity-fed irrigation. Everything else remains identical: • Same genetics. • Same substrate. • Same nutrients. • Same environment. • Same lighting. The only real variable will be irrigation. It should make for a fascinating comparison later in the grow. ⸻ 💧 What Is an AutoPot? The AutoPot system is a completely passive irrigation system that waters plants automatically without pumps, electricity or timers. Instead, it relies on one beautifully simple principle: Gravity. A nutrient reservoir sits slightly higher than the pots, allowing nutrient solution to naturally flow toward the plants. Each pot sits inside an AutoPot tray containing a very clever device called the AquaValve. ⸻ ⚙️ The AquaValve The AquaValve is the heart of the AutoPot system. It works like a miniature mechanical valve that opens and closes entirely on its own. Here’s how it works: • The tray fills with nutrient solution. • Once the plants drink everything available, the tray becomes empty. • Only then does the AquaValve reopen. • Fresh nutrient solution enters the tray. • The cycle repeats automatically. The result is a constant wet-and-dry rhythm without electronics, pumps or programming. The roots decide when they are ready for another drink. For me, that’s one of the smartest irrigation systems ever designed. ⸻ 🌱 Current Feeding This week the girls continued receiving the Plagron Terra program: • Terra Grow – 1.8 ml/L • Power Roots – 1 ml/L • Pure Zym – 1 ml/L • Sugar Royal – 1 ml/L Solution maintained at: * EC: 1.35 * pH: 6.1 The plants continue responding with lush, healthy foliage and vigorous new growth. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment Conditions remained stable throughout the week: * 🌡️ Day temperature: 33°C * 🌙 Night temperature: 25°C * 💧 Relative humidity: 63% * 🌱 Root zone temperature: 21°C * 💦 Nutrient solution: 26°C * 🌿 CO₂: 639 ppm Even with the warmer daytime temperatures, the plants have shown excellent vigor, with no signs of nutrient stress or environmental fatigue. ⸻ 📸 Final Thoughts Purple Haze B is quickly becoming one of those plants that constantly catches my eye whenever I open the tent. She isn’t trying to be the tallest. She’s building something even more exciting—a thick, compact canopy packed with potential flowering sites. In a few weeks we’ll discover whether the hand-watered approach can keep pace with her sister running on the AutoPot system. Either way… I’m pretty sure we’re all going to learn something. Very Happy plants, soaking up the rays. When you place your face near the buds you get an amazing sweet fruity aroma, the leaves smell like skunk and cheese. Each plant is getting 10 liters every 4 days. I water with 6.3ph tap water twice for every time I add nutrients. I use Alaska fish fertilizer when its been a few times since a nutrient feed but the plants are showing no deficiency's. They are Fed by a drip system which takes 16 hours to deliver the 10 liters to each plant, this works really well in the Fabric smart pots. I use metal racks to keep the plants off the ground then place a drip tray underneath each plant. When using the drip system very little run off occurs. I added a spider farmer sf-1000 to the room, it is full spectrum and ir, and is great for getting the corners of the room or the less dense areas of the canopy.

Que pasa familia, actualizamos la semana de la farm cheese, la trasplantamos a su maceta definitiva, utilizamos sustrato Plagron. Ph controlado en 6,5 humedad algo baja pero pronto pasaremos a floración, temperatura ideal, el led hace si función y aparte no da calor. Los nutrientes los seguimos echando en dosis muy bajas para que no sobre fertilize. Hasta la semana que viene fumetillas.

Week 13 Although the plant looks en smells great I did discover some small beginning banana's aka male flowers so in other words my girl turned into a hermaphrodite. I removed the ones I could see with a pincet which were all on top of some of the buds, usually between around 1-3 per bud. Let's hope 'she' still turns out worthwhile! And let's end with a positive note the terpenes are phenomenal it smells like a combination of Fernandes Red Grape soft drink, Hubba Bubba chewing gum, cherry candy and vanilla.

Hello. This is the end of week 9 and the beginning of week 10 of veg. Stuff is growing good in the greenhouse this week. I was in there yesterday putting the longer branches under the rack or tying them down. I'll go back in there today and finish clipping under the racks of leaves that don't get enough light, prime powder mildew places and small sucker branches that take energy away from the growing tips. I added some of the cactus pictures I have growing in the smaller greenhouse. It's 6 foot by 10 feet. They all get good food even though some of their pots are starting to fall apart. I watered the cactuses yesterday and a paper wasp lands on my cheek, they normally leave me alone and just fly around me. But a large queen wasp has been coming to get pull their young from the paper nest so the paper wasps are on edge anyway. I sort of panicked and swatted it away and knocked off my hat too.😧 I bent down to get my hat and the little bugger stung my little finger of my left hand. I guess it's poison didn't go in very far because my finger is barely swollen today. Stupid wasps. I let them stay because they help so much in the garden. I often see them fully loaded with some greenish pulp they have in their front legs that they can hardly land on their nest which is often upside down. This is the last week of veg. It's been a cold spring this year and the plants haven't grown as much as on a hot spring year. Oh Well. Keep Grown Straight. Chuck.

10/06/2021 Harvesting #2 and #1 to prevent more loss to mould. #3 will tackle in morning. #2 hardest hit. #1 not much #3 less. Mould Weight will be added later as I have lost my scale in moving. On to curing for 3-4 weeks and I will update the smoke report

Candy is growing great. She had a good growth spurt this week. I treated her with neem oil yesterday as I did the whole grow room. Another plant was the one I had issues with, and I treated it before. So better safe then sorry. Everything is looking good. Nutrients remain the same and will so now until the ripening stage. I don’t really know exactly when she will be ready, I assume she has another 5 weeks in her or so. Only the trichomes will tell 😊 Buds are starting to bulk nicely now and from the photo lapse it’s evident that some of the colas are starting to lean. Girl at the front is still rather ugly and the bud formation on her is not uniform like the rest. Just goes to show how different each seed can be even when growing the same pheno in the same conditions. I think they’re due a complete water change out tomorrow for the first time since the flowers started to form around F14. The PH is starting to swing over the course of 1-2 days which is usually the signal I pay attention to and force myself to stop being lazy 😊

10/5 Day 31. I've added a dehumidifier now that the plants are starting to show signs of pre-flower or flower. Maybe one of the expert growers can let me know. :o) 10/6 Day 32. I did some more defoliation to open up the air flow at the base of the stem (mini lollipoping). I also re-arranged the pots and lifted the air pumps so that I could have more room for training them. This should also improve air flow. I moved the rotating fan so that it is pulling air from the lower tent intake. Move the 6'' hurricane fan so that it is blowing down at the center of the tent. More LST training after giving everyone some more "elbow" room! I will allow them to recovery for a few days after the defoliation, but will keep adjusting the LST wires. - Added 1 gallon of purified H2O to each plant. No signs of any deficiencies on the leaves. Nice and Green with new nodes popping up (I think). Red - PH 5.54 TDS 703 EC 1.459 Blue - PH 5.77 TDS 735 EC 1503 Yellow - PH 5.6 TDS 693 EC 1.482 Blue (runt) is finally showing a growth spurt and has almost caught up to Red who seems to have healed from the partial stem tear. Yellow seems to still be the front runner in size and horizontal stretching. I will continue to train them until they definitely show signs of vertical growth and bud formation. At that time I will switch over their feeding to decrease N and increase P & K. SO far the GHE products are doing well, I might switch over to advanced nutrients for the next grow. Roots in all 3 pots are filling up and are still nice and white. Thankfully I am able to keep the water temp around 74-75 F. The UC Roots product is doing it's job as well. As of right now I'm not using any type of extra CO2 generator, but have watched some videos on You Tube on making a DIY. I wish there was more community involvement on questions and the need help section of this site. Also a lot of the You Tube sites that claim to cater to the "beginner grower" seem more interested in their "hip" music selection, video shots of their plants, and talking a lot of nothingness just to get viewers, verses providing quality content to really help the newbie growers. Ok off my soap box. I am really enjoying this grow and today after spending about an hour in the tent it was quite relaxing and therapeutic tending to the plants. 😊 10/7 Day 33. Rest in Peace Eddie Van Halen! Your influence in rock and roll will always be remembered! Feeding day! I am liking the 4 day schedule giving them 1/2 of the weekly recommended amounts per a consensus of growers who all say it's better to feed a little less, and make any additional increases as needed. The extra day helps to spread it out too. Also the importance of looking at the plants daily to see if there are any issues. Yellow is drinking more water that the other 2 and is still the front runner in overall growth and size. To think Yellow almost didn't make it past the seedling stage due to a "stretching bend" injury during week 1. - Amounts total in 4 gallons. UC Roots 8ml, CalMag 5ml, Micro 6ml, Gro 2ml, Bloom 6ml. These amounts are overall as the pots have 4 gallons of water in them. I adjusted to pot size in the description above. I made some small adjustments to the LST wires. All of the plants are now competing to who will become "Top Cola." I've also decided to name the plants per their growing pot color. Ruby, Bertha, Yuki. I picked Bertha as she was the runt, hopefully the name with inspire a great weigh in on dried flowers! 10/8 Day 34. Plants showing some signs of heat stress. I raised the lights up 2 inches. Now that I'm in flowering, heat and humidity reduction will get more of a focus. Tested the PH and it dropped to 5.2. I re-calibrated the pen just to make sure. Since they are starting to really drink more water I added 1/2 gallon of regular tap water that had been de-chlorinated. Checked PH 3 hours later and it is back up to 5.8. I have some PH up solution that I use for the aquarium, so will decided if I should adjust PH with watering using purified store water to lower PH and tap water to raise it since I anticipate them needing a gallon of water added every other day. Or I could just PH up the store bought water. 10/9 Day 35. Heat stress seems to be subsiding, but have noticed a few of the leaf tips are showing signs of nute burn. Overall they are looking great. I will monitor the leaf's for any additional issues. I know autoflowers like to be under feed compared to what the fertilizer companies recommend. I might look at going to a feed every 5 days using 1/2 of the recommended feeding amounts, along with seeing what the plant leaf's, water chemistry is telling me. As this is my first Cannabis grow it feels like I'm trying to "learn how to fly this particular model while I'm building it!" Anyone else feel like that on their 1st grow? 10/11 Day 37. All is growing well. Added a mixture of store water and tap to make adjustments to PH dropping. Each girl needed 1 gallon of water. Flowers are starting to grow :O) Ruby - PH 5.0 TDS 786 EC 1.651 (added PH up water to correct and an extra dose of 5ml UC Roots) Bertha - PH 5.96 TDS 858 EC 1.831 Yuki - PH 6.09 TDS 753 EC 1.725 Week 5 Lessons Learned: 1. Bought some Botanicare Silica Blast for the next grow. 2. Need to ensure the lid holes for adding water, and the air stone line is placed correctly with the water level sight guage. Yuki (Yellow) will need a new lid for the next grow. 3. More and a bit larger bore drill holes for the LST tie down points on the edges of the lids.

Her leaves are big and lush which makes shading a real challenge.
