I have tried to do this grow as natural as possible. Only rain water, once a week, I use Ionic PK booster, only sun light. I had to move her inside due to autumn/winter the last 4wks. I hope to harvest in 1-2wks time. Will be smoking the top heads, and Rso with the rest.

CALIFORNIAN GOLD DWC 19th April 2024 8 Weeks of flowering finished and I have emptied the rez and refilled with plain rainwater . I don't know how important ph'ing the water is for the flushing week but just to be sure , I dropped it to 5.7 👌 She sure smells good and the harvest window is fast approaching . "oh, this works, well it did work, maybe if I do this, that seems to help, well shit, that didn't work, uh oh, its getting hot, I got it!... and done. - temps start to climb into the 90s - " oh shit, oh shit!, Its not working anymore, I guess 90 degrees inside the tent is better than being in the 100s.... think, think, think, 😲 I got it!... annnd done👌! Its working. The temp at the time of writing this is... 73 degrees (last night it is was in the upper 80s lower 90s). So yeah, my wife is upset at the time I've been spending on it..... if only she would have let me do this inside the house like I wanted to. Meh, whatareya gonna do? 😕 There is something living in my attic... I hear it now.😒....

This week, my Titans are sleeping in a cooler dark room until harvest. So for your viewing pleasure, I've loaded some videos made of the Titans during there time with me. I'm wondering what to serve at my Queens Tea Party... I made some butterscotch pistachio bars and modified the recipe for less sugar. 😋 We experimented with topping the bars with black cherry spread, orange marmalade and a mango jelly. All are very tasty as the bit of sour/tart enhances the butterscotch sweet. A few solar eclipse pics.

~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2202 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... 🤪 But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Vivosun Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4. ~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 1/19- Here we go into Week Four of flower and these testers are ON FIRE!🔥🔥🔥 Both testers are in a flower frenzy and are ready to eat! Today I gave both girls their last top dressing with Down To Earth 4-8-4 Flower Mix at a ratio of 2tbsp/g and Coast of Maine's Stonington Blend 5-2-4 Organic Plant Food at a ratio of 1tbsp/g which I simplified by using 1/3 cup of the 4-8-4 and 1/4 cup of the 5-2-4 in the 4g pot and 3/8 cup of 4-8-4 and 1/8 cup of the 5-2-4 in the 3g pot. After working the amendments into the medium, I watered it in with 1g of straight de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.6 @ 74℉. It will take a week for the microbes to begin breaking it down and will last for 3-4 weeks after that which should coincide with them finishing up, or close to it, enabling them to naturally 'flush' themselves out. The #1 tester that has had the weird coloring and leaf texture is a beast @ 26" tall and I'm happy that she's come around! In my experience, more times than not I've had plants with issues when they started and debated yanking them but let them stay and all, and I mean every one, have turned out to be epic. I guess it's just dumb luck, or the fact I hate to kill any plants if I don't have to! 😎💚 The # 2 is doing exceptional as well and is beginning to get some purple coloration of the leaves in her flowers! I've also increased the power to the HLG 650R's the the Trolmaster Hydro X Controller to 75% which has them pulling 990w at the wall and have them hung 32" above canopy. I also starting adding in 4 hours of UVA during the middle of the light cycle for the remainder of flower. I've been monitoring their leaf temperatures and they're running 71-73℉ which is perfect! I have the AutoPilot APC8200 co2 Controller set to 1100ppm with a 100ppm window and the AC Infinity Cloudline T6 controller set to maintain a 74℉ temperature in the tent while the lights are on. 1/21- I'm watering these thirsty girls daily with straight de-chlorinated water ph'd it to 6.6 @ 74℉ and they're both thriving! The #2 pheno stays in a perpetual state of 'praying'.... a VERY happy girl she is and the #1 is showing signs of purple coloration in her flowers! 1/23- I watered/fed both testers today with 0.75g of de-chlorinated water each with GreenGro's Natures Brix, Granular Myco and Flower Finisher mixed in, after which I added 1 tsp/g of unsulfured molasses and then ph'd it to 6.6 @ 74℉. They'll be getting straight water from here moving forward as the medium has enough food in it to support them until they finish. 1/25- Daily watering continued today with both girls receiving 0.75g of straight de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.6 @ 74℉. OMG they're both looking fantastic with both looking tall and proud with a beautiful purple coloration expressing in their flowers and even into the leaves of the #2! I'm really looking forward to Week Five of flower where these ladies should really start to strut their stuff! 😍💚 😎💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! Week 9: Day 57-60: Seemed to have gotten the deficiencies(rather PH fluctuations causing them) under control. 4AM#3 took a while to recover but it has stopped progressing for the time being and the buds have continued to bulk up while the pistols start to orange out. 4#1 and #2 are doing good. They recovered faster and started to really bulk up. I'd say 4AM#1 has about 50-70% orange pistils while 4AM#2 and #3 are at about 10% by day 60. Damn like I said last week 4AM#2's buds are gona get huge! One of them tipped over on day 60, had to add support, but quite hard to find a spot when half the branch is the bud... Day 61-63: Continuing to bulk up, the 1.25x Calmg dose on day 60 seemed to do them well! 4AM#3 hasn't been showing any new signs of deficiencies, so that's good! Hoping she won't be too premature when I chop the plants(I am chopping days 73-74, only days I have time), but the pistils are starting to go crazy! Around 50% orange pistols now on 4AM#2 and #3! And 4AM#1 has about 90-95% orange pistils. When I used the handheld microscope, which is hard, the trichomes are almost all milky and some 5% amber on 4AM#1 and about 30-50% milky and a few amber on #2 and #3, seems like it will be just right! Can't wait! Gave em their last big feed of blume nutes on Dy 63, will be giving them plain PH'd water with Regulator till harvest. 10 Days left! almost there! 4AM#3 might look ugly but she still frosty and thicc as hell! Oh and they smell delicious!!! 😵 EDIT: Oh and just wanted to say thank you for all the help you all have given me so far! Oh and shout out to FastBuds, which sent me a message last week saying they were interested in me growing their genetics! They're sending me some free seeds for my next grow! How awesome is that!

Was feeding 2.5 2.5 1.2 per gal flora series with 2.5 calmag ph quickly dropped in run off to 4.7. Im guessing the florakleen had something to do with messing with the buffer. I thought the king tut looked droppy a few days after flush of couse i thought issue was maybe overwater. I skipped one water and over night all plants were much worse. Half the leaves on tut dried out and some on the alien tech. Read up and finally found someone mention to feed 1.3 to 1.5 gal per 5 gal in coco coir per event. I was feeding 1 gallon of water twice a day so went to 1.5 to 2 gal per event twice a day. Underwatering was the issue, cal mag in some, nutrient burn and ph. Ph going in at 6.0 coming out 4.7. I chopped the chem de la creme and the acid as they were not doing well or just stunted badly. Squanch Queen had a lot of calmag issues so added more. Eventually i ended up doing a 1/4 nute 2.5 calmag ro flush to get the ph of run off out of 4.7 range and eventually it has risen to 5.2 to 5.4 in time with .2 ec adjustments. Lots of problems. Have an ro buddy but am going to get a better system. Working on installing diy drain system.

2/1/2024- Pre-Germination Activities Day 1 I have 21 weeks until final photo is do.. I took 3 seeds out of cold storage and will let them get to room temp for the next 48 hours before I go with Glass of water for germination. I have 3 beans because I will start from the very beginning helping ensure I present the best Pheno. This is going to be a fun one.. I am a few days away from being able to clear my tent out for this run.. I have a breeding run in right now and the Seeds are a few days away from being mature enough for me to take down the girls. Once I get them down I will need to get my tent cleaned up and turned over right away. This is going to be close, I will have to time them to the water and into the tray at the right time.. because I will need to get lighting on them right away.. I have my 2X2 and my light ready incase I need to hold them in the cloning machine if the others are not done in the next few days.. Glad I have options that can stretch me out for a week or 2 to give me a little more time. 2/2/2024- Pre-Germination Activities Day 2 I checked on my breeding run to see how close the seeds are and if the tent is ready for me to clear and clean but alas I am still going to need a few days. I setup the emergency 2X2 and that should give me 2-3 weeks. The plan is to still wait one more day to allow the beans to warm up to room temp and then drop them in Water sometime tomorrow. Form my Emergency 2X2 I have the following: 4" inline fan and carbon filter Fan VS-2000 light 2/3/2024- Germination Activities Day 0 - Dropped the Beans in.. Today is 0 day.. Go.. Go .. Go.. 2/4/2024- Germination Activities Day 0-1 - Checked in on them this morning and no tap roots yet.. covered them back up and back in to the closet they went. I setup the Root Riots and the Seed tray for them. I Ensured my water that I was soaking the root riots in was PHed to 5.8 and I used RO water. Afternoon Update: Checked on my Breeders and they are done. I started to harvest them, I took down the one I had reversed with STS and I took down the Black African Magic- All but one bud, I wanted to get some pics of that one today. I was only able to get 2lbs into the Cannatrol because I had to be very careful to keep the bud from the plant that was treated with the STS separated from the other seeded bud that was pollenated from the plant I reversed. Cannatrol could have held an additional 2oz of wet but not today. Ideally I need 1 more Cannatrol so I can take an entire Tent, but will figure that out. I put an additional 1.5lbs into the freezer to wait it's turn into the Cannatrol, I would have left it on the plant and taken it in 4 days when the dry cycle gets done but wasn't sure how much 2.2 lbs was equivalent to chopped and wet trimmed. 2/5/2024- Germination Activities Day 0-2 - Checked in on them this morning and 2 of them have very small tap roots out.. one still doesn't going to give them some more time. I will check in on them this evening and see if they are more open if so I will transfer the ones that are ready to their medium and seed tray. 2/6/2024- Planting Day TRUE Germination Day 0- Checked in on them this morning and all 3 of them have tap roots out. I broke the bottom of the tap root for #1 which was the biggest.. pretty sad.. I hope she survives.. I tried to be careful it just snapped off when I was trying to get it in the root riot right. Other than that all three are now in their in-between home in the 2X2 while if finish clearing and cleaning out their forever homes. 2/7/2024- Germination Day 1- Checked in on them and no surprise no sprouts yet. Sprayed the dome to moist it and light spray to the tops of the Root Riots. 2/8/2024- Germination Day 2- #3 is popped and it looks like #2 will be popped by this evening.. I got my second Cannatrol today so now I can take down the rest of the tent and get it into the dry/cure. 2/9/2024- Germination Day 3- #2 is popped as well.. so I have #2 and #3 up and still waiting to see on #1 but that might be a loss since I accidently broke off some of the Tap root when transplanting. 2/10/2024- Germination Day 4- #1 has Popped... We have ignition on all 3.. YAY!! I finished clean up and install of RDWC system, this time was unique the back left buckets 3 inch pipe wasn't seated correctly so I had to clean up about 12 gallons of water all of the floor. I also had two leaks coming from one of the Waterfall return junctions, this is why I do a full pressure test before I put anything in. I will continue to monitor it through tomorrow to ensure that I am good to go and then I will finish setting up the baskets and prepping the water to be ready for the ladies planting day!!! 2/11/2024- Germination Day 5- #1 Of course is going to be my trouble plant.. No matter what If she lives through planting in the system and making it, I think I might not cull her at all regardless, she has been such a problem, makes me wonder if she will be super worth it towards the end.. We will see as we go through this grow, but #1 has a piece of the shell on the leaves, Other than that I set up a new thing I have been doing since last grow converting my Baskets into Sure plants so I can see exactly where the water is when I plant them and ensure I have the water up high enough that they are able to access it and grow but not too high were they are drowning. 2/12/2024- Germination Day 6- Everything seems to be going good.. will just keep them moist and let the roots grow for a few more days before I transplant to forever home. 2/13/2024 - Germination Day 7- Just keeping them Moist. 2/14/2024 - Germination Day 8 - Planting day.. they are now in the system.. :-)I had to fill the water to the bottom of the basket where I could see water on the bottom rocks and just coming up where I had created my whole/ sure plant. 2/15/2024 - Germination Day 9- Top fed just a little to keep them moist and encourage root growth towards the water. I ensured the PH is right at 5.98-6.02 range. 2/16/2024 - Germination Day 10- Top fed just a little to keep them moist and encourage root growth towards the water.
