~ FastBuds PAPAYA SHERBET Photoperiod~ Well here we go on another journey together through 'Canna-land' and this one's kinda special... forget that, it's VERY special because this is FastBuds newest surprise for the community, a FEMINIZED PHOTOPERIOD STRAIN!🤯 I was fortunate enough to score these seeds, of which only 1000 were available and can't wait to see what this strain can do! This Papaya Sherbet, according to FastBuds, is a hybrid with a 9-10 weeks flowering period. For a more detailed and accurate description of this strain the following from FastBuds says it best: "Combining the massive stature of Papaya (Oni Selection) with the strength and resilience of one of our best keeper cuts (Sunset Sherbet), this strain develops into a big, expansive bush adorned with numerous bud sites that later transform into a generous harvest of medium-sized buds. Papaya Sherbet flowers deliver a signature flavor of premium cannabis with subtle citrus undertones that emerge upon inhaling. During growth, her aroma makes for a sweet yet pleasantly bitter fragrance, giving you an idea of what the smoke will taste like. Notably stress-resistant, Papaya Sherbet is a great choice for growers working in challenging environments. She is very forgiving and rebounds quickly from any adversity, allowing growers the freedom to experiment with confidence that she will take everything like a champion she is. This strain embodies resilience, flavor, and abundant yields in every grow cycle." Sounds like an epic strain and I personally cannot wait for this lady to strut her stuff!😍 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: This is going to be an outdoor grow, but I have started the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod indoors as our weather is still a bit too chilly to put a newly sprouted seedling outside (nighttime temp's dipping regularly into the 40's℉). The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures are in the mid 50's℉, which shouldn't be long. After which, she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes from BioTabs and slow release dry amendments from Gaia Green. Once she's established herself outside she'll be given periodic top dressings of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with worm castings and Compost Tea's. Her grow area is approx. 5'x5' and I have posts and a trellis net set up already for when she gets bigger to aid in training her. Let the fun begin!🤪💚 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 9/12- Week 5 of flower is upon the FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photoperiod and she's looking like a champ! 9/14- My daily routine of watering, removing dead foliage and checking over the flowers continues. 9/16- The flowers on the Papaya Sherbet are all stacking nicely and are really starting to get super frosty! 9/18- Storms came thru overnight and in the morning I found that the Papaya Sherbet had sustained some damage. Right where the divide was from being topped she split. I quickly mended the split with duct tape and crossed my fingers for luck. I also place a couple more support poles to help support her. With another week of flower behind her, the Papaya Sherbet is looking to be in great shape for the upcoming weeks where she'll be putting on weight! Thank you for checking out my diary, your positive comments and support make it all worthwhile! 💚Growers Love!💚😎🙏

The stretch period is considered to be over. I did the last leaf cleaning. I won't touch it anymore. I did super croping because the branches got too long.

We’re approaching the finish line — the top buds are already nearly perfect. I’m just giving the lower ones a few more days before putting her into a 48-hour dark phase.

Mandarin XL auto just had a solution change today. She looks like she is starting to bulk. She was looking kinda pail and discolored. She was due for a solution change. So hopefully she takes to it well and puts on a lot of weight. Everything has been going well, and nothing more to report. Dear Friends ❤️ in this week we topped and bended one of my top shelf strains, Red Hot Cookies by Sweet Seeds ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ I topped and remove big fan leaves that covered bud sites I missed to give top crop Big one at 14 october, it is important to give 10 days before flowering The last day of this week we switched the light to 12/12 week #5 of vegetation The 240w light is working at 50% power and now it is combined with the 480w quantum board. I consider week 4 the week from 18/10 to 24/10. day to day fert schedule: 📅 18/10 📅 19/10 NEEM OIL 📅 20/10 📅 21/10 Top Veg 3ml/L-Deeper Underground 2ml/L - Green Explosion 2ml/L - big one 2ml/L - PURPINATOR 1,2ml/L 📅 22/10 📅 23/10 📅 24/10 We are glad to present one of the most famous strains of Sweet Seeds, the RED HOT COOKIES. We grown 2/3 plants of RHC and I can tell that it is one of my favourite strains. Easy to grow, quite fast flowering and amazing buds. "She" make a tons of super frosty and sticky buds and you will amazed by their color. ABOUT RED HOT COOKIES BY SWEET SEEDS Top-quality genetic as a result of crossing a clone of an American “Super Strong” Cookie strain – Tropicanna Cookies – with a clone selected from a second American strain – the potent, mandarin-scented Tangie (Girl Scout Cookies x Tangie). We chose exotic lineages with red flower phenotypes when crossing these two varieties. The red flowers develop in around 60% of the offspring and tend to appear in the last few weeks of flowering, beginning with the lower branches and flowers before spreading to the top of the plant. Red Hot Cookies®️ (SWS83) is a “Super Strong”, highly productive and resinous strain with high THC levels of up to 25%. It has an excellent scent and taste; it is sweet, deep and dense, with marked tones of mandarin and mango, plus hints of fruits of the forest. Beginning of week 4 in flowering and everything is coming along quite nicely. plants are loving there Remo nutes! just switched this tent over to a self watering drip system cause it was getting to be a real pain watering these girls by hand. Their siting in 7 gallon fabric pots and boy do they drink a mad amount of water/nutes! the pots are just packed with roots! really loving the Remo lineup of nutes so far! go Remo! Go Sports! Buds are starting to form nicely! Started to open up the bud sites a bit by tucking what i could but had to snip a few leaves up top to open a few lower sites up trying to get through.

Yesterday was day 8 of flower and I gave them a solid lollipopping session. On the back left I’ve got the Wedding Cake (Portland), and in front of her on the left is Double Crush. Both of them used to be under the 210W LED, but now that they’re under the HPS they went from being the smallest before the flip to now the biggest in the room, showing the strongest stretch out of all the strains. I also did a bit of supercropping here and there and kept tucking branches under the net when needed. I’m watering them every 3–4 days with around 2.5–3 liters each, depending on how fast they drink. I won’t be doing much more training from now on — maybe one more cleanup and after that I’ll let them run freely and stack.

4 Purple Push Pops PPP (grew 2023 outside)2 Black Cherry Gelato BCG (love to smoke it, first time growing) Clones- from my clone guy 1000w LED, 4G Autopots,, coco/perlite 65/35, GH 3-part+ flourolicious, calimagic, SI, chelated iron, and humic acid , RO water, AC pro Controller and T8, 5x5 GG Tent with extension Garage grow SoCal This week I was out of town and let my grow grow. The autopots did their thing at about .6g a day. I did battle multiple hot days in the garage. We’re running just under 1000ppm with no issues. I ran out of bloom and used some powdered kool bloom and it worked well. Thinking of switching to jacks RO but it’s working so good now I don’t want to switch. This weeks accomplishments: install two more autopots - for the gelatos. I put the gelatos in fabric autopots, one 5g xl and one 15g xxl. Scrogging the gelatos to flatten the canpoy Long term issues Cooling and VPD targets during heat waves Preventing pest and mold issues - my humidity crept up high when I was gone and I saw a few powder leaves which were promptly removed upon my return. I had to take my fiancé to a swanky resort for a few days. I hope you all are having as much fun as I am. Best of luck gromies. Check out my black cherry gelato grow. Soon I’ll be posting my outdoor light dep grow - side by side with my indoor grow- same clone batch. This should be a great comparison of indoor versus outdoor grows side by side 👍

Health to everyone! 👋 🌿1 week has passed since the big defoliation and switching the timer to 12/12 mode. -Pre-flowering stage, stigmas have not yet appeared. We are waiting for the flowering to begin. -Very thick stems. -Appetite was restored by watering 5 liters per day (water 2 times a week). -No problems or shortages were found. -Every 3-4 days I remove several large burdocks (no more than 5), which greatly block the light. -Added Bud Ignitor and Bud Factor X to the diet. 🤙In general, a strong and large plant with good resistance, which is pleasing to the eye.

Another great week for the Apple Betty girls. I have not seen a single deficiency, other than the odd yellowed or withered leaf under the canopy, typically due to lack of light. I will come through soon and do a defoliation of both tents to allow for more light to penetrate, and perhaps get a good push for some girthy colas 😋. I have lowered the temps a bit in the tents by controlling my lung room temps, and they are maxing out at 77 degrees and hitting a night time cool of about 70. I have also lowered the humidity to hover between 47 and 52 %. Hopefully will start to get some nice colours as they finish. As I mentioned before, when I water is when I like to get under the canopy and check the stems and leaves for anything that shouldn’t be… and typically once a week after watering I’ll wipe down the tent and sanitize any surface I can. There is no reason to get lazy, that’s how you get Pests, Mold, and PM. Happy Gardening 🇨🇦👊❤️

Hello, Im back. Day 33 of flowering. They were defoliated in day 22 of flowering and take about 2 or 3 days to recover from the stress. lights at 80% power. lux = 32k. Lets see If they handle it. The OGs are consuming 1.0 EC and the GGs are consuming between 1.6 and 2.2 EC, (depending on the plant). Im using Remo Super charge full kit. Some plants burned a little because of a small overfert. Ogs are very sensitive to salt and Im still not having access to CO2 to let them more hungry. But it was very important to know the limits of each one, since I have already taken clones of them to make a selection. Every day is a learning experience. See you soon guys.

This week the new growth of the plants transitioned from looking relatively healthy to droopy and yellowed. I wasn't sure what the issue was at first and thought it might be light stress. After more research, I determined that I had what looked very much like a zinc deficiency, which is almost always a symptom of over-watering, which is the most common mistake for new growers, i.e. "Me". I had assumed that adding a good amount of perlite to my soil and using smart pots would prevent me from running in to any drainage issues but I guess not. I was up to 1.5 liters per plant when I realized that it was too much. I also realized I was misreading my syringe which I use to mix nutrients, and that i had been giving only 1/10 of the liquid nutrients that I thought. I'm super embarrassed about the mistake but I'm going for full transparency here, so there it is. Course correction takes places after day 31.
