Busy week for sure. At the start of the week I started seeing the trichomes develop round heads as they were maturing. It's been very cool to see the difference in them every day. I had some trouble at the start of the week getting the ATS300 angled correctly because of my Dad's cowboy setup, but it definitely worked for a while and I'm grateful. Luckily, we managed to get an AC Infinity 642 ordered and got her in there ASAP. The tent is 72 inches tall, and it's only supposed to be 60! That gave me some extra room above my canopy for the light/exhaust etc. and actually saved me a bit to be honest. Although this was started as a 2x2 grow and I had no intention of straying from that, my plant became such a beast that I did all of this to be safe. My second grow will be a lot more organised! I installed an upper trellis a couple of days after putting the 642 up. Again, I became a bit disorganized with training (for example, I took my LST ties off too early, removed my lower scrog net when I took her out of the 2x2, and I focused a bit more on defoliation). This net will pretty much be for support only, but it will definitely help even out the canopy. The trichomes, again, are looking great as I hope the pics show. Just anxious I defoliated too much as a novice because I don't want my buds to grow slowly. I also had an issue with high heat (28-30C) for the first couple days in the 642 while I was sorting the ventilation and placement of the dehumidifier. Now it's sorted. So, I was going away for a week. Given that I'd been babying these on the daily, I had some trepidations about leaving them for a week through at least two if not three, watering cycles. I engaged the help of a trusted friend to stop by and make sure they were watered and cared for. As I'd been running the tent pretty hot, I wanted to increase the margin of error so I dropped the power down to 75% and raised the light about 6". Once I came back, the plants were very healthy for the most part. I did begin to get PM on one of the plants as you can see in the photo. So began treating that (defoliation, cleaning, spraying w water, obsessively searching for new spots). I was very pleased with the way they were crystalizing. The one plant with the super fat colas wasn't as resinated as the others at this point yet she was THICC and dense.

Je combine mon LST avec un pincage d'Apex cela me permettra d'avoir une canopé plus homogène donc une meilleure pénétration lumineuse et par conséquent un meilleur rendement. Petit rappel sur le pincage d'Apex: Le pinçage des plantes de cannabis Proche de la taille d’apex sur le principe, cette technique possède cependant plusieurs avantages, le principal étant de conserver le gros bud central de la plante, d’une production et qualité maximale. Pinçage des plantes de cannabis Le pinçage d’apex (tête de la plante) consiste simplement à pincer délicatement la tige du dernier étage de la plante, entre le pouce et l’index, jusqu’à sentir la fibre s’écraser sous les doigts avec un petit bruit critch caractéristique. Si l’espace disponible sur la tige du dernier étage ne permet pas d’y placer confortablement ses doigts, il faudra plutôt pincer l’étage du dessous. Le pinçage ralentira fortement la croissance verticale de la plante, tout en stimulant le développement des branches secondaires, donnant ainsi à la plante une forme de buisson. La plante mettra quelques jours à réparer ce pinçage, formant un nœud à cet endroit, et poursuivra ensuite sa croissance de façon normale. Le pinçage peut alors être répété si nécessaire, sur l’étage suivant nouvellement formé, ainsi que sur les éventuelles branches secondaires qui pourraient dépasser l’apex. Le pinçage est donc une excellente technique pour avoir une belle canopée uniforme de type marée verte. En pinçant régulièrement l’apex des plus grandes plantes de votre espace, durant la croissance et en début de floraison (stretch), vous obtiendrez ainsi facilement des plantes de hauteur homogène en pleine floraison, ce qui facilitera la culture et augmentera la production finale, surtout si vous cultivez simultanément de multiples variétés de marijuana. Avec un peu d’habitude le pinçage pourra être réalisé aussi rapidement qu’efficacement. En cas de pinçage trop violent qui se traduirait par un apex arraché, cela produira simplement les mêmes résultats qu’une taille classique de l’apex, ce qui ne sera donc pas dramatique. It's time for another thrilling update on my cannabis journey: 🌸 Aromatic Delight: As we reach the end of week 8, the aroma in my grow space is absolutely enchanting. The scents have intensified and become truly captivating. 🌬️👃 🌈 Vibrant Colors: The plants are flaunting their vibrant hues as the flowers continue to mature. The leaves exhibit beautiful purple hues, and The Queen plant is adorned with striking orange and red hairs. It's an absolute spectacle! 🌺🎨 💧 pH and TDS Levels: Throughout the entire flowering stage, I've maintained a steady pH level of 6.33. That's fantastic news! In terms of TDS levels, they currently stand at 750ppm and 1150ppm, providing the much-needed nutrients for your beloved plants. ⚖️🌱 ⏳ Progress Update: The Queen has proven to be a fast finisher, reaching the impressive milestone of 49/56 days. She's now completely ready to be harvested. It's time to celebrate! 🔥 🍪 Oreo Big Stuff: Although the Oreo Big Stuff was expected to finish around the same time as The Queen, it seems she needs a few more days to reach her peak. Hang tight for another 2/3 days, and she'll be ready to harvest as well. Patience is key! 🍪⚡ 🌿 Zweet Og: Ah, the beloved Zweet Og! This beauty emits an incredible OG gas funk smell. I absolutely adore it! The estimated flowering time for this strain is 63-70 days, and she still needs a little over a week to reach her full potential. Keep an eye on her progress, as she's worth the wait! 🕒👀🌿 🧐 Drying Dilemma: Unfortunately, I've encountered a challenge with drying The Queen. She's currently positioned on the back left side of the grow tent with a scrog setup, making it difficult to remove her without disturbing the others. It's a tricky situation indeed! 😬🌿🏋️‍♂️ 🌱 Future Plans: Despite this dilemma, I'm overall thrilled with the progress of my grow. No hermaphrodites or other issues have surfaced, which is fantastic news. I'm even planning to embark on another run with The Queen. I already have six clones ready to transition into flowering immediately after this run. Exciting times lie ahead, especially since it'll be my first time flowering clones! 🌼🌿🌿 That wraps up this week's update. Finally the stretched stopped. Cut about 10 tops bent about 20 with 90s. Still right in the lights. They are looking very happy even though they are so close to the light ( thanks to high c02 levels most likely.) Another week or 2 before I cut the temps and co2 levels down. Been trimming all leaves below light line. Stinky and brutally sticky I feel like Clark griswold with pine sap when ever I am bending the tops and such.. I think even with them being in the lights I will still get a few pounds of premium flower to smoke :)

This week went great. The ladies are drinking lots and still looking happy and healthy. I didn’t do any training on them just let them grow. Happy growing ya badasses!

Just starting week 6 and These girls are starting to get some smell finally . This is the same strain as my other big plant but I learned that this strain doesn't like to be over fed so I have been feeding these 4 plants a light feeding but the two plants in the back are showing they are hungry so this feeding today I upped their food . Checked the soil ph and it was in at 6.4 . Defoliated a few of the big fan leaves that were blocking the buds down the stalks and its looking pretty fat. Also the trichome production is much farther ahead then my big plant at this stage . The small leaves are covered in them . Still have about 4 to 5 weeks to go .

Week 8 of flower... swelling up great... smelling beautifully... trichomes are getting cloudier. Will check again next Monday and see if she needs to go another week.

This grow went well overall. No herming. No nutrient deficiencys. Can't complain there. However the bud structure wasn't there. And the smell isn't of strawberry sugar or at least during the grow. It's mostly gas with a little sweetness. No real strawberry so far.

This are pictures taken on the first day into the fifth week of flowering for closet plant and seventh week of flowering for window plant. I've kept my daily routine of plucking anything that looks as male growth on window plant (After the first plucking session, I can hardly find any nanners). Also had a moment of OCD in which I tried to find all swollen bracts that contained anything similar to a developing seed. I read that plucking baby seeds out is not really helpful, quite the opposite actually. But I really wanted to learn to identify this sort of growth. I did find quite a few of them (and I'm pretty sure I caused some damage to the buds), but I still think that the plant will yield a decent harvest for my expectations. If anything, it's been a great learning experience. Closet plant doesn't seem to be pollinated at all (I mist the air around both plants quite often to prevent this) , and its growth continues to amaze me. I think it's yield will probably double WP's harvest. This week I dropped window plant's feeding. Giving it Bloom mix that's got way less nutrients. And starting on friday of this same week I'll start flushing the roots (this will continue for it's last 10 days). I'm super excited about this last weeks for both plants. Next will be window plant's last week of life!! Harvest is so close! I think I'll actually miss them.

ALL went well, next week I'll start the 2 weeks flush. The smell is great, it's full of tricomes. I think it's going to be a good yield. What do you guys think?

What a plant! Grew very well, buds fattened up nicely towards the end. Humidity went up to 60% from under 40% in the last day. 27.08g - main cola 62.21g - upper buds 39.56g - lower buds 5g - payment to friends for helping trim 😂 133.85g total

7/2 Last week it was extremely hot (80's-90's) with cold nights. We had a severe thunderstorm last night and it's raining like crazy today. I didn't spend time in the garden as it was pouring. However I defoliated yesterday briefly. I had maybe a half dozen leaves yellow and die a couple days after the organicide application. They were mostly the largest oldest fan leaves most infected with pm. A couple smaller interior leaves yellowed and died as well but they were the leaves most infected. I assume that's normal. As I defoliated I noticed my first aphid of the season. I saw a few dead ones the organicide killed and a couple that were alive. Aphids aren't a big deal. They'll be evicted soon enough. I haven't seen one spot of pm though since the application. Maybe a little on a dead leaf but it seems to be working good. Didn't take pictures today but needed one to update the diary. Trying to upload videos but they take forever. 7/3 Ridiculously hot all last week. Extremely hot yesterday then a severe thunderstorm but it cleared to 90 degrees with 90%rh. This environment is a fungal nirvana. Still a slight smell from the organicide. I'm glad I used it though. I threw away some more leaves but this is the time that starts happening anyway. Before the stretch. With the ideal conditions I saw WPM rear it's head again. Only this time the organicide seemed to still have a residue. The PM only infected the super old biggest fan leaves and a few tiny tiny leaves on the very interior of the plant. I didn't know I had aphids but I've found a few dead on the underside of leaves I defoliated. So it seems to be working. My plants are growing towards the sun (partially due to my tarps which I need to be legal) which make airflow harder to maintain. My dad gave away my pallets this year. I had planned to put bags and supports on pallets with some sort of wheel so I could spin them. Oh well I'll do that next year in my new location. I have also found moth holes in couple leaves so BT it will still be needed. If videos didn't take so long to upload I would have a bunch. Happy growing. 7/5 Watered lightly (as it had been 90's) before feeding three gallons to the garden. Noticed some telltale leafhopper signs on a 9lb kush. The organicide seems to be doing a decent job of keeping PM at bay. The blueberry is now the worst it seems. I'm planning on another application before I try anything heavier. The fishy smell is now totally gone. Plants seem healthy and are a nice dark green. I have had some problems that have effected my ability to fully care for my girls. I have some defoliation I need to do. I also see moths sometimes in the morning plus the pm and the random munch. I guess that's to be expected outside but I need to get on top of this shit. I also have more LST I could be doing. 7/6 Rained all night and still off and on. Can't see any pm but I've found a few spots on the blueberry that could be septoria. I'm going to hit them either tonight or tomorrow with the organicide and if it doesn't work I may try a sulfer based fungacide. Took a few pictures. I need to defoliate as well. 7/7 Uploaded some duplicate pics accidentally. If I could've created the perfect environment for fungal infections I don't think I could've done better than yesterday. Hence the organicide. I was surprised it wasn't pronounced and only a little here and there. Also saw leaf hopper and pillar damage so hopefully this will straighten that out. Blueberry seems weak in it's stalk. I'm not sure if the wind is blowing it against that hard metal circle around it. It may have septoria. If it does I'll have to switch to something different or junk the plant. 7/8 This sucks. I can see signs of leaf septoria on the GDPs. This is definitely not a strain for the Maine climate. It's not resilient enough against diseases. This year has been particularly bad with 40 degree temp swings and rain then bright hot sun. I couldn't engineer better conditions. I appears senescence starts at the same time looking back over the past four years. However maybe that's just the life cycle of the earwigs. Oh yeah. I raked the inside of the grow bag with my hand and AT LEAST a half dozen earwigs came out RIGHT FROM THE SOIL IN THE BAG. I dealt with these prehistoric bastards last year and lost half my harvest. They eat other insects but the spread disease like crazy and they DO eat your plant while leaving behind the worst bacteria and plant disease. I have research to do. Like I said. This sucks. I'm changing locations next year but I need some help dealing with the septoria and the earwigs or I'll be fucked again. I defoliated anything that looked suspect. Still need to improve airflow.
