The Ztrawberriez Auto is very resistant has a great sweet strawberry smell throughout the garden. As you can easily see from my grow question, I was initially afraid for the plants due to the high temperature in the greenhouse (as soon as the sun shone ~40 degrees). It turned out that the plant seemed to like it and rewarded me with beautiful buds with purple tips. Growdiaries won't let me delete the question otherwise this would have happened long ago... She finished very quickly and took just 70 days from seed to harvest. All this confirms that fastbuds is the right address for autoflowers. I'm already looking forward to the next run. (12/21) Flowering continues to go well. Removed leaves from the bottom as well as some branches that aren’t going to reach the light. Switched to flowering fertilizers. Need to raise the temperature a little bit but will do that soon.

Where should I even begin? 😅 I'm only left with 6 plants in the tent. 😤 One Purple Queen did not make it. And one Triple G was moved outside. I changed the lights. Finally. 2x 250W LED. The plants🌱: As said, I'm only left with 6 plants in the tent. One Purple Queen broke today after tying down because of a very fragile stem even after applying good amount of silica and one Triple G Was moved outside today due to its slow grow rate and I want to flip in 2 week. To little time to develop properly. Now Triple G can take his time until mid August. I left the other one in the tent, it looks more robust but still, I'm very disappointed with this batch of seeds from RQS, only 2 Triple G's and one Purple Queen made it. So that's 2/5 and 1/5. 😒 But, heads up, the Honey Cream is doing fenomenall. I did tie down the remaining plants and did some light defoliating, so they open more up after topping them. I'll give them another 2 weeks of 18h of light and then it's flip time. End of the month. Can't wait. 😁 Problems 😤: As mentioned before, I had to remove one plant and the other one broke. 🙄 Not everything goes on plan every time. 🤷🏻 Trial and errors. Learn from them. 😉 APHIDS. I have forking APHIDS. But thanks god ONLY aphids. I applied some home miracle working insecticide and they are dying. 😁 Had luck I saw it now in the beginning. So I can fight them off before the bloom phase. Nasty little creatures as you can see above. Oh, broke some stems when LST was applied where I couldn't tie them down. Buuut, I tapped them up. Hope they get their sh*t togather untill next week so I can make some nicer pictures. Btw, did you see the NUT(e) BURN? No? Good😁 But it's there. Over applied some foliar feed with 19% N and natural roots shooting hormones and burned them. But lightly. Ony the tips, which is OK. The first day was a bit of a struggle for them but after 36 hours, they gone crazy. And that's the reason for tying them down today. 😅 Lights 💡: 2x EasyGrow S600V2. Yeah this Strain is amazing! She just started to build Buds, and already started to be sticky asf too :-) What i notice the last Days is... When i give here today 2 L of Nutrients/Water, i have to give her tomorrow again because the Soil is dry... So i think she want to be big? Lets see lets see

D49 - The first day in the third week of flower, and all is well. I still haven't seen any thrips on her, but you can never be too careful since I have them in my other tent, so I went full Rambo by cutting up a package and using a teaspoon to place predatory mites on her leaves and taking care to avoid the flowers. I also redirected the airflow to not blow directly on her and I'll leave the sawdust there until tomorrow and then brush it off. D53 - Not much to report really, except that I switched on the UV light. She is just doing her thing, slowly fattening her buds. D55 - I gave her 1.2-liters of compost tea @ pH 6.5 today. We're only at the end of the third week of flower, but she has several yellow leaves already.

Day 13 girls are going well thinking about introducing the bloom light in about 9-12 days loving my first grow!

She looks very super big and beautiful for her 3rd week since planted, let's see how she keeps developing, looks super happy.

Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. At the end of week 6 the buds are bulking up and the trichomes are going milky with red hairs pulling in will wait for more amber trichs before harvest which I anticipate around week 8-10.
