Dont know why but while i was defoliating the Chemdog smelled a little bit like soap haha. Turned on the reservoir for a couple of minutes. (Till the AutoPots are full and the valve closes) Rised the pots aswell, so the canopy is very even. I let them recover from the heavy defoliation i did, and next week i will slowly increase the light's strength. (Now still at 50% 50cm)

September 22, 2026 Unfortunately, not everything goes as planned. That wasn't my intention at all, since the only reason I'm here is to show the plant's true potential. Since I wasn't very careful, the plant is experiencing unnecessary stress, but it's nothing that can't be fixed—in fact, even for more serious mistakes, there's a solution. Just don't forget that Mother Nature is in charge. 🗓️ Day 22-25 - Vegetative phase: As you can see in the first image, unfortunately, while removing the fan leaves, the scissors nicked the main stem. At first, it didn’t seem like a big deal, but since there were clips holding the stem at a 90-degree angle for the LST, the cut opened up even more. I had to abandon the LST and focused solely on securing the main stem and carefully wrapping tape around the cut. The plant has never lost its rigidity, but it's always a good idea to seal the wound right away to prevent fungus or to keep the plant from losing its ability to transport nutrients to the top. 🗓️ Day 26-27 - Vegetative phase: Obviously, this week will simply be “wasted”; the plant will focus all its energy on healing, and as expected, there will be very little vegetative growth. I limited the nutrients because the plant experienced a big stress due to buildup in the soil; Will only use water until I see the first signs that it’s transitioning to the flowering phase. Today, I switched the LED settings to BLOOM (red lights). 🗓️ Day 28-29 - Vegetative phase: Luckily for me, the Wedding Cake strain is very resilient, and so is my determination to show the final result even after all this stress—I don't like discarding plants just for the sake of it... As you can see, it’s actually healing well. After 5 days, I replaced the tape to put on a new one and refresh the cut area. The plant never lost its rigidity or strength. Today I just made the final LST adjustment, but not on the main stem—since I can’t do anything with it for now—but I spread the side branches further apart to make room for light to get through the middle. She had 2 be topped in her second week of rooting do 2 the top frying from to much light in young clone stage. Since the topping this lady has come 2 life!! She has been defoliated 4 times! Most recent defoliation 3/24! She spent her first month feeding just off nutrients in fox farm soil. On 3/2/22 I gave her her first Gaia Green trio feeding!! She has exploded with growth since!! She was defoliated on 3/27 again. She was given her second feeding of @gaiagreenorganics on 4/02. This lady was defoliated on 4/10 and 4/19. Otra semana más Creo esta semana hoy día 27 Anunciando así el próximo día 28 inicio de esta quinta semana de floración del calendario de mis niñas,semana en la que comienzo subiendo la cantidad de comida y con ello de agua para mis niñas. En los últimos riegos de la cuarta semana fui subiendo hasta alcanzar los 1700. Las plantas mayoritariamente lo aceptaron,así que con ello subiré esta semana hasta alcanzar los 2000. No defoliaré ninguna planta Hoy ajuste la luminaria a una altura de 30cm con respecto a los 45 de la anterior semana. Esta semana pegarán un buen apretón con la subida de PK,y la ayuda de los azúcares. Seguimos con muchas lluvias y una humedad muy alta que dentro del armario se combate entre ventiladores extractor y desumificadores pasivos de sales de silicio. Que me mantienen un 35% menos de la que tengo en el exterior llegando muchos días a los 45/50% de humedad. Tengo que añadir que vivo a un kilómetro de la playa. Día 28 Di un pequeño fumigado, de agua con ajo y jabón potásico en la entrada al cuarto de cultivo. Como preventivo ante cualquier insecto que quiera acercarse atraído por el aroma. Hoy e podido ver que el último riego de 1700EC,no causó ningúna sobre fertilización apreciable en el cultivo casi nula,viendo esto en el siguiente riego subiremos a 1900Ec.

Exciting week the plants are all out of germination and into their veg growth stage. This means we get to begin the exciting work of building our soil. When the plants veg growth reaches the tips of the pots, this indicates the roots also have and your plant is then ready for more room. We have a fantastic grow shop in town that is great about soil classes and teaching you some great essentials. We plan on utilizing this resource and will keep you updated with the progress of the soil build. Stay tuned for compost tea as well ;) Stopped by the grow shop to get the run down on the soil build. Because building your own soil creates hot soil, it needs to sit for 6-8 weeks. This obviously won't work for our purposes on this grow. After some deliberation we decided to go with a pre built soil that has already sat and composted. We are going to go with Build A Soil because they have done tons of research into their super soils. We want to do a super soil so that we don't have to top dress or add in any nutrients, we want the grow to be as natural as possible. After looking at Build A Soil's options we are leaning toward the L.O.S. OLY Recipe. This recipe uses 33% OLY Mountain fish compost. We want each plant to be able to finish out in the pots that we switch them into from their nursery pots. I recently found a new grow bag that we are going to try out for this next grow. It is a bag so it has a much larger circumference than the grow pots. It also has a lining on the sides of the grow bag so that it doesn't dry out from the sides like normal grow bags. This is our ideal growing situation because we are trying to simulate earth. When a plant is in the ground in the earth it doesn't dry out from the sides, we don't want our plants to either. The bags are very large (15 gal) but we don't want to fill to the top, in case we need to top dress more soil in the future. We use one cubic foot bag of soil per plant per container. This change will happen tomorrow at the turn of the week. Starting week two of Veg growth we will be in the containers that we finish in. This means minimal transplant stress and much less room for human error effecting my medicine.

12week Leaf started like mutating into like a claw and some leaf don't have the same amount but I think she doing good. Almost finishing week 12 buds are getting size now getting a little bit dense

Nach dem erfolgreichen Topping in der Vorwoche hat die GMO Rootbeer ohne Pause weitergemacht. Da keinerlei Stressanzeichen sichtbar waren, wurde das LST direkt fortgesetzt. Die jungen Spitzen und Seitentriebe ließen sich problemlos weiter in Position bringen, sodass die Pflanze zunehmend eine breite, offene Form annimmt – perfekt für gleichmäßige Lichtverteilung und kräftigen späteren Blütenansatz. Parallel dazu gab es regelmäßige, sanfte Entlaubung. Nur große Fächerblätter, die Licht blockierten oder das LST behinderten, wurden entfernt. Die Pflanze hat auf diese Maßnahmen durchgehend positiv reagiert: keine Hänger, keine hellen Blätter, kein Wachstumsstillstand. Im Gegenteil – sie wirkt extrem vital, treibt schnell nach und zeigt eine kompakte, kräftige Struktur. Ein wichtiger Fokus dieser Woche lag auf der Umgebung: stabile Temperaturen, kontrollierte Luftfeuchtigkeit und keine extremen Schwankungen. Auch die Lichtstärke wurde eng überwacht, um jeglichen Stress oder Bleaching zu vermeiden. Die GMO Rootbeer scheint die Bedingungen optimal aufzunehmen; die Blätter stehen zu jeder Tageszeit sauber nach oben und zeigen dieses typische „Happy-Plant“-Bild. Die Gesamtstruktur ist jetzt breit, flach und sehr gleichmäßig. Genau das, was man vor dem Übergang in die Stretch-Phase erreichen möchte. Sie baut derzeit eine perfekte Grundlage für mehrere gleich starke Tops auf. Woche 5 war insgesamt sehr clean, sehr kontrolliert und extrem effizient – alle Trainingsschritte sitzen, und die Pflanze macht voll mit.

Starting next Thursday there will be potential new owners touring the property. It's still a bit early but I'm going to flush now and harvest next week. I think we're close enough. The buds are sticky and smell great. These ones aren't really fattening up that much but they look delicious. It would definitely have been nice to have both plants the same size so they could both benefit from the optimal light distance.

Week 8 of Veg, preparing to flip to flower this coming weekend. Gonna do an extended light period but not quite the 24hrs of dark. LST is opening up light to the lower growth and making more room for big colas!

The plants are ranging from 36”-38”…. We just purchased Flower Fuel for the buds. And pruned all the plants this week. Lastly we gave the plants pH balanced water with loranne flavor extract and unsulfured molasses.
