August 10, 2019/Day 64/1 of Week 10: Last week, I watered minimal and had very little runoff. I have been watering every two days at a PH of 6.5. Day 65: Watered with 3L at a PH of 6.4. Runoff PH 7.01. At 9 PM, light moved to 15" and A/C regulating tent temps to 24.7/76.5F to 25.3C/77.5F. Day 68: Watered with about 2.5L at a PH of 6.43. Did not measure for runoff. Light still at 15" Day 69: Moved light to 17" above canopy End of Week 10 notes: Stop getting hair in my buds. lol Cheers to all the growers that wear hair nets, lab coats and gloves! I'm glad to see that she has very few amber trichome tips. She is mostly clear and starting to go cloudy. I want more time to beef up. Will be interesting to see how fast the trichomes continue to change and when her white pistil growth slows. 😁

The vigorous branches and typical sativa structure are now embracing the Overdrive effect. We have had another very hot week. All my girls are suffering and display some ugly looking leaves. But so far the buds are doing well. This girl is growing some very fat buds. The smell is very delicious. She smells of grapefruit.

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. For the most part it was an easy plant to grow, it started yellowing though before it was ready. But overall gorgeous plant.

I transplant to 1 gl pot for veg feed with clonex root solution the rest is RO water with PH adjusted 6.3-6.5 The soil is from the previous grow but it's re amendment and set for a month before use

12cm growth this week. Flowering stretch slowing down. 💪

More humidity trouble this week, same old story lately. Added more circulation to the grow area which has been helping alot! I stopped feeding calmag and have fed 1.5g of pkbooster per 4L, gonna ramp up a bit more this week. I had some white fuzz mold on top of the soil of 2 girls, I let them dry out, scratched the surface up and watered and it didn't return which was awesome. Made me worry. A suggestion I got and was gonna use if it came back was feeding 20% milk 80% water, hasn't come to that yet. Hopefully over the week I can continue to decrease my humidity as my buds start to form! The ladies really didn’t have too much change this week except girl #2 seems like she’s caught up in height to girl #1. I have to make a correction to from week 3. I stated I topped the girls when i actually did some light FIMing.I wanted to be sure i corrected that mistake before my diary process any further. I kind of went a little too heavy on the feeding and the girls showed some slight yellowing and a 1 leaf started to Slightly curl into a taco. Nothing too serious but I definitely will be dialing back on the feeding doses. decided to do some defoliation To the fan leafs that were significantly blocking light from future bud sites. I’m not sure how these girls will take to me cutting off foliage. Only time will tell. These girl are starting to put off Some stank. The smell it’s very strong but you can get a sense of what’s to come. It smells of gassy sweet pineapple citrus. Have to admit I was skeptical until I did a stem rub and these girls were spot on. When rubbing the stem they smell so much more sweeter almost like a candy sweet smell. really appreciate all who have viewed my diary. I’m actually shocked how people viewed it so far. Day 113, Flower Day 57. Harvested Bubba Kush today as I felt nervous with it from last week's powdery mildew. It is hanging on hangers in the small tent drying now. GSC is going to get 1-2 more weeks.

Также техника кольцевание делает кустики небольшими, но густым, это кольцо контролирует высо у куста. Wow! Autos really go for it don't they! They have grown so much in past week I have been tucking all the stretch under the scrog and still more to go. Bout 40 days in so far so just over half way maybe. All doing well. Water and feed in the mornings and VPD climbs steadily throughout the day. Ranges tween 1.1 and 1.4 per 24 hours with around .7 of a litre per plant each watering. Put some music in with them to keep em company. Today is Reggae Thursday. PPFD ranges from around 600 on the margins to 750 in the hotspot. I like growing Auto's and they seem to like the tent environment. I may even dedicate this tent to Auto grows only. The smell in the tent is delicious but nothing outside thank god. Only third week in flower I see bud sites everywhere! I hope things continue to go this well for the duration. Very impressed with Auto's. Titan is coming on well too. Will have tent to herself after the others are finished.
