Einen wunderschönen guten Tag, liebe Grow-Community, und herzlich willkommen zur neunten Woche meines kleinen Outdoorprojekts! Heute dann doch mal wieder an einem Montag :). Ich habe es nach dem Mary-Jane-Wachenden leider noch nicht nach Hause geschafft. Allerdings habe ich paar Bilder vorproduziert, um hier nicht mit leeren Händen aufzutauchen. Ich bin die letzte Woche ein wenig durch die heimischen Wälder flaniert und habe den ein oder anderen Schatz bergen können. Aber alles der Reihe nach … Da ich messbedingt nicht bei den Pflanzen sein konnte und das mit dem Gießdienst an Dritte abgeben mal so, mal so funktioniert. Dachte ich mir, man muss der Verdunstung und der damit einhergehenden Trockenheit etwas entgegensetzen. Ich habe mich als kurz und knapp für eine Mulchschicht entschieden. Diese schützt nicht nur vor Austrocknung, sondern macht ebenso die obere Erdschicht für die Durchwurzelung brauchbar. Sie ist obendrein ein weiterer Schritt zu einem gesunden Bodennahrungsnetzwerk. Dieses wird durch die in dem auf dem Grünschnitt/Waldlaub enthaltenen Mikroorganismen (Protozonen, Wimperntierchen), welche durch das Belüften im Tank nochmals gefördert werden, noch einmal gestärkt. Last but not least führt der Mulch dazu, dass Schadorganismen das Einfallen in die obere Erdschicht erschwert wird. Aber was ist drin? Ähnlich wie schon beim Komposttee wird bakterienreiches organisches Material in einen Tank mit vorzugsweise Regenwasser gegeben und anschließend über einen gewissen Zeitraum belüftet (siehe Woche 5). Der wohl größte Unterschied zum Komposttee ist, dass wir eher auf das Material und nicht auf die Flüssigkeit aus sind. Dieses besteht zu ca. 90 % aus Grünschnitt (in meinem Fall eine Biokleintiermischung) und zu ca. 10 % aus Laub, welches ich in einem wenig bis gar nicht bewanderten Waldstück gesammelt habe. Die richtige Platzwahl: Bei der Platzwahl war mir wichtig, einen möglichst naturbelassenen Teil des Waldes auszusuchen, um eine Kontaminierung von bspw. Müll oder Hundeurin zu vermeiden. Ebenso habe ich nach Material Ausschau gehalten, welches schon Kontakt mit einem Pilzmyzel und dem ein oder anderen Regenwurm aufwies. Beides sind Indikatoren für ein gesundes Bodenleben. Zum Schluss … Nun einfach alles in einen großen Tank, Wasser drauf und Pumpe an. Belüftet wurde das Ganze für drei Tage. Danach das Material entfernen und luftig um die Pflanzen aus Ringen (leicht in den Boden einarbeiten). Um mit so wenig Waste wie möglich zu arbeiten, habe ich dann noch das Wasser gegossen. Dieses ist sehr reich an Mikroorganismen. Aber nun (besser spät als nie) noch ein paar Credits: Und zwar an Flo von Florganics, von dem ich das meiste Wissen um den Komposttee, die Erdmischung sowie auch das Mulchen bezogen habe. All die genannten Themen sind nochmal deutlich detaillierter auf seinem Yt-Kanal (Florganics) zu finden. Noch ein kurzes Wort zu den Damen: Soweit sehen alle sehr saftig und grün aus. Mit dem Toppen warte ich noch, bis ich wieder da bin. Alles in allem sollte am Ende doch ein wenig herauskommen (im Optimalfall 50 g/Person). Das war’s für diese Woche. Sorry about the missing weeks this is overtime season at my day job lol but all is well and plan on harvesting on the next update the girls smelling great very dense frosty buds I can't wait to try them out

Flowering day 78 since time switch to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) Finally the time has come . The lady was harvested and hung upside down in the dry tent 😍. Before that, she stood in the drying tent in complete darkness for 2 days and the large leaves were removed. The small leaves stay attached during the drying process so that they protect the buds and allow them to dry more slowly and evenly :-) . In the dry tent, the temperature is 18-19.5 degrees and the humidity is 54-58% 👍. In this environment they are now allowed to hang for 10-14 days before they are fine-tuned and trimmed clean by hand. then after trimming they come to ferment for 6-12 weeks in dark jars with bobeda packs 62% to keep the perfect humidity. After a few weeks, the Boveda packs 58% are used so that they can slowly dry out :-) . Of course there is one last update after trimming. Until then, I wish you a lot of fun with the update. Not doing too bad but the buds aren’t that fat unfortunately. I’ve got 1 nice pheno and the rest just smell fairly floral. I’m sure it’ll be nice smoke but there isn’t anything jumping out at me on this one.

Week 6 - chugging along. Trained two (lst+defo). Third plant underwent heavy defoliation only.

Day 69 (March 6th) Just gave everyone their last watering. I’m going to harvest and wash everything tomorrow night on day 70. I‘m not going to do that whole 48 hours of darkness thing because I didn’t see a difference last time I did it. In fact, it made my plant under watered before drying which caused it to dry too fast. Slurricane and cheese will be washed with h2o2 and the rest will just be rinsed off in warm RO water and hung up. Before and after washing I’m going to go over each branch with a flashlight and make sure there is no dog hair or debris in or on the buds. I will be drying in my spare bathroom (that no one uses!) from hangers. Aiming to keep it around 60-62F and 50-60 RH. Hoping for that 10-12 day dry. I wanted to do a full plant hang but the tent got pretty dirty and I would feel more comfortable just cutting and rinsing everything off branch by branch. I’m going to try my best to keep the full plant intact. Got my humidifier hooked up and running RO water because with tap water it deposits calcium and lime all over the buds and walls. For air flow I’m just indirectly running a small usb fan. I’m not worried about air flow in the bathroom honestly. It stays nice and breezy down there anyway. Got the food grade peroxide and RO water to wash up the slurricane and cheese. Everything except for the cheese and garlic#1 is looking more than done. Trichomes all look pretty well done. Some of them have even burst open. Smells are all super ripe and mature too. Can’t wait to smell each individually in jars. Next week I will recap what went wrong and what I will do differently next time to keep it from happening again. (Day 70F) Just got everything chopped, washed and hanging. The vast majority of the PM was washed out but I can still see very small amounts. When they dry out I can shake the branches a bit to get the rest off. At very least it’s sterile now. There is no question I lost some potency while washing but the amount is negligible for a much cleaner product. I could see lots of dirt and other debris float to the surface of the water after being washed. And no those are not trichomes, those sink to the bottom. I could put that nasty water through a bubble bag and wouldn’t get all that much. Although it probably does remove a lot of the actual trichomes heads. I’ll have to check with the microscope. Everything is rigged up for a nice slow dry. Temp is sitting at 64 and RH is at a nice 60%.

Leaves are getting more yellow. Light burn? Turning the light down to 18 hours soon

D19 (10/12/2020): Beginning of week 3. I saw little yellow/brown spot on big leaves and new leaves, I need to check this closely. I fed with half of the recommended dose but 1.5-1.75L of water per plant. I was giving 1L max and I think it was not enough for the size of my pots. RH of the grow tent is now down at 60%. - temps: 26C - water: PH6.3, PPM: 410 - RH: 60% D20 (11/12/2020): Today I saw thrips larva crawling on a leaf (see video above). That confirm my problem is not a nutrients deficiency. I know how I got them and it's a rookie mistake from me. At the beginning of my grows, I placed a plant in my tent that was originally outdoor during fall. I did not think that it would be infested with bugs. I removed it when I saw a little bugs fly in my tent but the damage was probably already done. I read about thrips and you can get rid of them if you act fast and soon in the infestation. I will go to my local horticulture store today and ask advices and ways to exterminated them. I'm a newbie in growing cannabis (plants in general) and I want the best for my plants. I'm learning from my mistake and that's what I like! Overall, both plants are growing fast and they react really well to LST. I readjust the tie 2-3x a day because the small leaves are growing so fast! - temp: 26C - no water - RH: 60% D21 (12/12/2020): I bought insecticidal soap and gave a treatment. RH is now at 55% and that increases air flow. -temp: 26C - no water - RH: 55% D22 (13/12/2020): The lamp is now 100% and at 28inch form the plants. They received 430 PPFD (33 000 lux). Temperature is under control around 26C with a new oscillating fan place on the floor. This air flow will help against bugs. LST continue every day to expose new leaves. I gave water with only Max Minerals. - temp: 26.5C - water: PH6.4, PPM: 275, approx.: 1,75L per plant - RH: 55% D23 (14/12/2020): LST continue, I try to bend one branch every day and readjust the other ones. I did not see more bugs but some of the new leaves are affected so I know they are still there. I ordered nematodes to help me prevent new larvae. They are suppose to arrive in two days. - temp: 26C - no water - RH: 55% D24 (15/12/2020): I removed leaves at the bottom of the pants last night. Probably 3-4 leaves per plant that were not receiving light. This morning I can see that it gave a good boost on the new leaves! Continuing LST as usual. The nematodes arrived earlier then expected. I will apply them tonight as soon as the lights turn on! - temp: 26C - no water - RH: 54% D25 (16/12/2020): I did a lot today! First, I sprayed another treatment of insecticidal soap on all my plants. Second, I removed one inch of soil in each pot and replaced it with new soil (same soil). I saw sign of what I think is phosphate deficiency. I was really shy on nutrients since beginning of the grow. Third, I fed full recommended dose for week 3 of veg. I gave 1.5L of water with nutrients and approx. 0.5L of tap water when I placed the nematodes. Fourth, I placed one tea pouch of nematodes in each pot as recommended. I also opened 2 tea pouch of nematodes and sprinkled them over the soil of all plants. Finally, I continued LST. It was a big week of up and down. Both plants grew like crazy and I discover an infestation. I think Banana Kush is in pre flower but I'm not sure. It's a bit early but they got so much stressed this week. -temp: 26C -water: PH6.5, PPM: 725 -RH: 55%

buenas pues seguimos con la floracion donde van maravillosamente os hice videos para que lo viereis como evolucionas esta excelente marca todas van genial donde no da aun ningun sintoma pero ahora empieza los grandes problemas donde hay que controlar todo en general can comiendo muy bien pero ahora es cuando empieza lo bueno de verdad donde igual el minimo despiste te lleva al desastre espero que os guste buenos humos gente

Week 3 flowering. Buds are slowly forming, plants still going good, cold weather is hitting my area now, hope it won't last long, might extend flowering period by a couple days if it stays this cold.

Buds are dense and very frosty . Still no sign of any deficiencies that I can find.

Nothing much to say, enjoyed it. Can't wait to see how the next grow goes. Very happy with the harvest here, i was hoping to pass the 100g cap, and it's done. By a large amount. If the next grow gives me anything like that, i'll have to stop growing so I can actually smoke all that!
