ok so everything has gone fantastic , no nutrient burns at all , and have been slowly creeping up the base nutrients , i have stopped the cal mag and now adding house and gardens bud XL at full strength these girls are now in full swing of flower the Cal mag has made absolutely no difference too the yellow colour of this blackberry so I suspect it is just how this strain is as meany diary's on here of the same strain are also on the yellow side , but it's certainly not affecting the speed of the growth of her , i also bought a new ph stick this week , i have found when PHing the feed bucket that its best too have air stones in the bucket , add all nuts and then ph but do not use the feed that day as if you check the next day the ph is off again so i left it 24 hours after i add more ph down , and it seems too make the measurements alot easier and stable , i have bent down the main stems " without damaging them onto my netting too A keep the canopy all the same high so my lighting is covering all plants at the same distance and also it allowed the side stems too reach up too , i also was sponsored another new led light by kingbo this week so have added another 600watt led too the grow , so now have two 600's and one 900watt , and temps are still fine sitting at 24c lights on and 19-20 off , so am pleased with that , I accidentally bend the main stem last week while I was putting them under the netting too try and control the stretch , luckily it did not crack or snap the branch at all and she didn't droop on that branch at all and has healed already , it may or may not be related but as soon as it happened the side branches thickened up too the thickness of the main stem , this plant has over taken the rest in size even being a full week too 15 days younger , it's certainly not ideal but it really does not appear too have slowed down the growth and may well go in my favour , this lady really did stretch out from week 4 into 5 and is showing no sign of slowing down , her side branches are very thick almost as thick as the main stem , her leaf production was minimal and I have only had too remove very few too expose the bud sites , the yellowing seems too be recovering now and most of the plant is green now , Update , Now gone a lush green colour instead of that horrible yellow , and the buds have already started too purple , she has also stepped up a gear with her nutrient intake almost drinking 6 pints since Thursday , She seems too have slowed down on the stretch and has so meany bud site scattered all over her with as the diary name suggests black roses everywhere , and note too any seed banks reading this if there is not a purple stain out there already called black rose now is your chance lol and Iwant a sample pack first kinda like the tester :) Now defoliation , as you can see they really didn't seem too mind at all being stripped and within a couple of days they had all replenished the lost leaves and even this week olive had to pull the odd few off as they have grown out , Method , well all info now is simple , Anything I cannot tuck under something that is blocking a bid site with shade I remove too middle or bottom , Everything else stays , I just stand above the plant and pull off anything covering the sites , it's really as simple as that , I see some strip them until there is nothing left on but a few sugar leaves , but for me didn't like the look of the plants , for me the growing process is just as much fun as the fruits ,

Day 14 - She's thriving it seems so far. She's bursting with tri-leafed nodes. I've changed the environment a bit. I have not been successful cooling the room enough to bring down the VPD from 1.3kPa or so. Instead I'm approaching it from a humidity perspective. I have the threshold up to 70%RH. I'm peaking the humidity to lower the VPD to .9kPa since I can't really effectively cool the tent to the low 70's. There is a slight aroma from the seedling. The infamous skunky smell is only observable when very close to the plant. I have not been using the filter on the exhaust fan though.

A week on everything is going ok. The mutant is still hanging in there doing its own thing with growth. The other two are coming along nicely, the smaller one is very uniform and has good structure to it. The bigger one is just a beast! Growth is rapid and the shape is nice. She drinks a lot more than the other two. Getting the second light was a good idea based on the umol m2 (572 with both switches on).

DRY ICE wow has a amazing smell like lemon and poisen like a durban will be interesting ro see how that turna out the buds are purple and o so heavy. They are way cover in resin ever so nicely stacked in there.they have all started to fall over at this point cause they so heavy even with the net. Just about ready for some chop chop time! 🌸 Week 5 – Gorilla Cookies Auto Pheno Hunt Another week is done and the differences between the phenos are becoming more obvious with every update 👀🔥 Now that flowering is progressing, each phenotype is starting to show its own character much more clearly. Even though all plants are running under the same conditions, their reactions are very different. 📈 Current observations: Some phenos are handling irrigation and feeding extremely well and continue pushing strong growth Others are showing a bit more sensitivity and reacting differently to the same watering routine Leaf size differences are becoming huge now — some phenos are producing massive fan leaves while others stay much more compact Plant structure and overall vigor continue to separate more week by week At this point, 4 out of the 6 phenos are currently looking like strong candidates and fall into what I’d personally consider the “good” category so far 👀 🍃 Maintenance & feeding: I’m still managing the canopy and keeping an eye on how each plant develops through early flower. Small adjustments and observation are becoming more important now as every pheno responds differently. 📊 Current environment: Temperature stable around 26°C Relative humidity staying between 63–65% VPD maintained around 1.3 kPa Light intensity unchanged from previous adjustments Now I’m especially excited to see how the buds start forming over the next weeks, because that will probably decide which phenos really stand out in the end 🔥🌸 The structure is there — now let’s see who delivers when it matters. 💬 Which pheno do you think will end up producing the best flowers?

The week starts Monday, Dec-23 in vegetative stage. Installed the ScrOG net Set at 20cm from the base of the plants, being 55cm from ground. Great growth and more LST The plant is showing great growth, lots of branching and new growth sprouts. A few branches are beginning to come through the net and almost all main branches are now tied down horizontally after the two recent toppings. Applied more LST and will wait for the branches to reach the net and start tucking. Adjusting the extraction fan Auto settings The AC Infinity fan is currently only running intermittently with its current settings. This seems to impact the utilisation and effectiveness of the carbon filter in use. The desired outcome is for the fan to be running for longer periods whilst in Auto config. Lowered the High Level Humidity from 70% to 60%, and more importantly, lowered the Max Speed from 4 to 2 with the intent that a lower fan speed will result in longer periods where the extraction fan is operated to remain below threshold targets for the grow space. Plant growth continues to be strong at the end of the week. Big fan leaves near the top are beginning to look a little serrated and dark, similar to the start of this grow. This may be due to the extra CalMag being added which was the issue at the start of the grow. Will keep monitoring and half the CalMag dosage on next feed. Importantly, I have learnt nutrient mixing of the CalMag should be done prior to the Canna Coco A & B. To date I have done the opposite which may explain my earlier issues. Fertigating daily at the start of the light cycle. One more week of vegetative growth before switching to flowering although I may need to switch earlier due to the vigorous growth and considering the stretch yet to come.

8/9/25 I'm not sure if she stalled a bit or what but she seems happy but not a whole lot seems to be changing with her. Added some dr earth 394 and threw in some dying leaves because I noticed some worms hatched from when I added the home made worm castings 8/14/25 she has really started to fill out this week. Applied some cal mag in the form of uprising foundation. And will continue to add microbe charge Still tweaking the auto water set up. Trying to keep it between soaked and only partially watered. Maybe it's the drip heads.

Things are generally going ok. I’m going to reduce the bio grow next week as it’s looking a little over fed. Other than that the plant has been fairly responsive. I defoliated and removed the rest of the lower growth I wanted to, it seemed to slow things down, although its starting to stretch a little now..
