Started week 8 Day 52 We are excited to announce new growing light setup coming soon for the ladies, we want to make them grow big a better so we gonna be adding 600 watts soon! In the meantime, we continue outdoors From 6. 30AM til weather gets too hot Once it reaches hot temperature and low humidity we bring them back indoors for CFL lights and Air conditioner plus fan Since it's so hot in where we live it's tropical weather, we always have to keep an eye to the hygrometer and the weather in general. So far so good, they're flowering and taking their time but day after day new buds are coming up, we've done some defoliation as well to get rid of those old leaves and the other ones that are too low and not gonna make it so the plant can return that energy into several buds that are already developing. Took out some leaves on both usually try to only cut off around 10 a day or every other to not stress too much. 1 girl is getting really close to harvest the other still is packing on height and bud structure. Really pungent diesel with a fruitiness to it. I'll be extremely delighted if it smokes anything like it smells. I hope at least the 1 is done before my bday so I have some smoke 😁 Good luck to everyone and happy growing 🌴

Good week, no issues popping up. Just watered when needed. WCC she is packing on weight, with buds stacked on buds and smells amazing. C4 Very strong girl, nothing has fazed her from the beginning. Beautiful purple plant and the smell is floral. And packing some nice looking buds. Gelato Pretty much the same as C4, very strong, looking amazing and the smell is delicious. Bud sites aplenty. SBP Small bud sites are developing with a few white hairs. More just growing her on as a little experiment really she how she turns out. Not expecting much, but we'll see

In questa settimana ho notato che anche la pianta numero 2 sta diventando rosa. Proprio come nella foto principale di sweet seeds. Le cime ingrossano bene.

Yellowing of WW#2 is worrying me, looks to be a nutrient issue maybe? I raised the light above WW#2 by 4 inches in case its light burn as well. Other than that and the nute burn on The other plants things seem well. End of week update: things are looking great, I think whatever happened to WW2 is reducing its ability to form buds? Not sure. It’s looking okay, hoping they’re going to fill out well! Definitely need to grow the widow XXL again, it’s a shame I had another plant fall on WW2 and damage it, likely contributes to the yellowing and such. WW1 still has no amber trichomes, waiting for this entire week to end before I even think about harvesting. I am eager to harvest so I can get more light to lower buds on the other plants. I had to tie up 1/3 NL2 main colas. It was so heavy it was beginning to split the bottom stalk, there was no damage really just maybe 1/20th of the stalk was peeling from the weight. I tied him up to the light and everything seems well. I figured I wouldn’t run into that problem, but don’t underestimate how much weight buds can pack on!

Semana pre floración del 15 al 21 de marzo. Empezamos la pre floración bajando las horas de luz y utilizando Genesis. Para fertilizar utilizar media parte de grow y media parte de bloom del Snoop's Dog Premium. El 20 de marzo las podé un poquito en la parte de abajo, no estamos haciendo scrog porque al ser tan novata me dio miedo hacer el corte apical, pero la malla servirá igualmente para separar las ramas. El 21 de marzo se aplicó el jabón potásico y aceite de neem. Vi algún bichito negro y pequeño tipo mosca, no sé si será la mosca negra del sustrato porque usamos coco y no vi larvas ni daños en las hojas ni por abajo, ni por arriba. Por precaución he puesto canela en recipientes. Próximamente agregaré el deshumidificador porque por ahora, con el extractor todo el tiempo, la humedad no baja del 50-55%.

Week 8 Flower My favourite part; Flush flush flusshhhhh 🚽🌊💦 This is the time where you will see the most swelling and ripening of the buds, and also it's winter colours in its leaves and possibly even flowers (strain dependent) as the plant cannibalizes itself of all of its stored nutrients. Many strains will fade into a bright yellow, but a lot of strains can turn to many stunning colours such as purple, orange, red or even black! Purpling can also occur on your flowers throughout flush, which only adds to it's bag appeal! I believe it's extremely important to include a flush period at the end of each cycle. I don't necessarily mean you have to flush copious amounts of water through them like I do, but the end goal is to have a cannibalised plant before harvesting, regardless of your system, methods or medium. Having a proper flush is what gives you the clean burning, smooth smoke in the end. If many nutrients are left in the flowers, it can create a hard black ash that can spark as you toke 💥😷 and would be quite toxic for you to smoke. I start by pouring just enough water through the pot to get a decent run off in the catch tray below. I then take a note of the ppm/EC and pH of that run off to see how she's doing, and then adjust the pH of the rest of the water to be flushed if required. This girl's run off was a little high, at approx 6.2-6.5pH so I adjusted the rest of the flush water to around 5.5-5.6pH. This should bring it back down a bit more, although it doesn't really matter so much later in flush as she's only feeding on herself anyway, not what is in her pot. Once adjusted, I pour around 30ltr through her pot to reduce the salt contents in the coco. I then take another reading of her last bit of run off in the catch tray and make a note. I find that flushing a large amount of water through the coco speeds up the process because it has taken away many more nutrients from the coco than with not doing so. This gives the plant no choice but to instantly start to cannabilize on the only nutrients available; it's own. Once they're fading fast I'll simply feed them enough for a decent run off as I know there's nothing left in the coco. The amount of buds on this girl is absolutely insane! She's a monster! She's swelling up but still getting taller, with her tallest cola almost touching the reflector now. I'm definitely glad I supported her! I'm going for a 3+ week flush as I can't take her any further with plants in veg waiting for spaces, so hopefully she'll ripen up! Thanks for following and happy growing! 🦊

Deep Forest Auto is moving along. Shevhad another ph bottom out. I am not providing enough irrigation and the feed has been too strong is my conclusions. Organic nutrition is high in salts. Autos are doing alright this week. Very low RH has kept them from being their best selves. No worries, early season growing suck, and this years faults will be next years improvements. Next year will move from an electric heater to an oil filled radiant so that I dont suck so much moisture out of the air First week of flower, I expect them all to stretch this week @viparspectra.valerie
