May9th The tallest one is almost 3ft tall and it’s just the beginning of this outdoor grow. Last year I haven’t even started and ended with 3-4ft plants. So 3ft plants as a head start is a winner in my book

Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. OKAY!!! I followed everything I had learned from others I know, and studying non stop for months to do this right. I saved up money to get my equipment and I decided to give it a try. I found this site looking at pictures of amazing buds from so many different people and watching so many grow videos and always dreaming of having a good grow like I've seen people can do.(just never in person) I had no idea how this was gonna turn out. But..... It's looking killer!!! Honestly best looking smoke I've ever seen!(in person) And I cant wait to see if it can live up to its aromas and mouthwatering looks!

Hello growers and tokers! 👋 👩‍🌾 🧑‍🌾.🔥💨 There has been much change this week!! First there was a big defoliation done, I cleaned the bottom of the plant. All the growth that wouldn't amount to anything because the light doesn't penetrate that low. Also took off the biggest fan leaves to give more room for light. Then finally switched to 12/12.. After just 36 hours after the defoliation there was a major change. New growth everywhere, colas started stretching upwards fast. It's like she already knows it's flowering time. Great reaction to the defoliation and 12/12 switch. I'm still watering every other day, After the defoliation I watered with only Enzymes 2ml/L to clean the roots a bit then started with the nutrientes again. I dropped the amount of grow nutrients from 3ml/L to 1ml/L and started adding bloom nutrientes 2ml/L for now. I'll slowly be upping the bloom nutrientes and after week 2 I'll no longer add grow nutrients. That's it for this week. Stay tuned to see how she flowers. Stay safe!

Welcome to week one of flower!!! This should get super interesting super quickly! With all the males pretty much weeded outta the room we got left with 9 plants that im 99,99% sure are female. I will be adding some nets in a few days after I ensure everyone in the room is female. Huge shout out to Hidden Vault Genetics for all their great work with genetics! Watered 3.5L each at 550PPM Day#2F Ladies are praying and starting to react to the light change. Day#3F Ladies are praying and changing , so far only 1 plant left im not sure what it is in terms of sex. Day#4F Pictures N/A. Organs on plants are getting more pronounced won't be long till where in full stretch. Watered ladies at 3.5L each at 550 PPM Day#5F Pictures N/A Ladies are starting to really pick up now! Day#6F Going to look to install the nets in a couple days just giving one plant a little more time to display sex before I lock the ladies into place.

Finally time has come to chop down plants 1&2. They look ready and trichomes are mostly cloudy with some embers. Both plants weight 750 grams as whole. I would assume there is around 30-40 grams dry on each, but we would have to dry cure and than return with results. 3rd plant can probably go for another week, she looks like she can get her buds bigger, also still many many white pistils. She is looking very promising with very long buds (: 3rd plant chopped after 1 week, weighs 500 grams wet as whole. Joining the 2 other girls in the closet

It was a wonderful journey, I really had the honor of doing this girl many times, this time even close to the Monster Zkittlez with which they generated the Runtz who was also in the grow. Super modern family situation, I wanted to try to figure out which one I liked best, and I still haven't been able to. at least I'm still tasting Runtz's first flowers and it's heavenly but the freshly picked Gelato and the upcoming Zkittlez are scary just to see them. Super resin, it really looks fake, I also have some macro photos that will make you cry. The resin is everywhere the trichomes are even in the largest leaves the scent is of the garden of eden. wow. Show. Really nice. It was freshly cleaned I want to try to do the resin the first time and then I have freshly cleaned and hung the whole girl upside down under the crop data next week when I clean and can give the detail. Gorgeous. Before being collected, she did two music therapy days, one of which in the dark with frequencies for plants and together we listened: 1 - Paolo Conte - "Gelato" al Limon 2 - Raekwon - Ice Cream to stay on the "Geato" theme and then all the M83 discography to be collected with the very famous Outro of Interstellar really seems to pass to a better life listening to that stuff. Since joining growdiaries I’ve seen that 420 Fastbuds are one of the (if not) the most notorious genetics on here.. so I’ve got my hands on some Fastberry seeds (which with the promotion I got one free!!) I’ve been very bored with the kind of weed I have been smoking recently the taste of the buds aren’t too great so I’m very excited to give this strain a try with the promise of berry flavoured weed!!! Happy growing! Mon 8th March - after a few days of being in a damp paper towel stored in a dark warm place she’s popped a little tap root. I will leave until tomorrow then I’ll plant her directly into her final 3 gallon pot. 🍁 Tue 9th March - Placed into her final pot gave her a little water and placed dome over her until she pops.

This Dinamex from Dinafem is starting to really bud and is very stunted so I took a chance and transplanted her to a little bit more soil. The last of what’s I had because one of my other plants was a male. So flipped her over and she is kicking ass to say the least. Can’t wait to still see what I get out of his “solo Cup”grow

So, here we are in the final week. I think it’s been a laborious but pleasant journey. In retrospect, I believe things went well, even with some mistakes I made along the way: 1-At first, I thought the Gorilla Z seeds were actually Gorilla Cookies (yeah, I know—big mistake from a small detail). So I planned a 12-week cycle for those plants, only to later realize they were actually 10-week strain. I don’t think that was the right decision either, because while 12 weeks might have been a bit too long, 10 weeks definitely wouldn’t have been enough to fully develop their genetic potential. 2-Following the same logic with the Gorilla Z, the Atlas F1—originally a 10-week strain—would probably have benefited from an extra week, making it 11 weeks total (at least with my setup and nutrients). 3-I think I may have put too much stress on the plants during the LST process, which reduced the final height of most of them. I think all three genetics are very resilient and strong—especially Gorilla Z, Afghan Pearl stands out as a particularly stable and resistant strain. As for Atlas F1, even though it was the one I neglected the most (sorry about that), it still showed impressive overall stability and resilience. tomorrow morning gonna cut them.
