42 days! Sadly did loose footage of 1,5 days. Did a reservoir swap and am now using Yara Kristalon Orange instead of Blue. Orange NPK: 6:12:36. Lowered EC after some research on rockwool, guess I was feeding way to high all the time, as it seems salts accumulate in rockwool even when you do long irrigations to basically flush it every time. Will aim for 1.2-1.3EC from now on, a lot lower than in my previous NFT setup. The plant is doing good, some slight tip burn, took the heatwave like a champ. Some branches are stretching, some not, bit it will get bigger for sure (writing this 2 days in to the next week). Did quite some defoliation. Smell is coming in for sure, attached the Charcoal filter this week, previously without because not needed :) Overall not a monster of a plant but not bad either, good average? Hey everyone! It’s been another fabulous week of the girls fattening up getting ready for the ever looming harvest time! The colas are huge and glistening like a glitter ball! The back right girl has been on flush since day 51, 2 more went on flush on day 53, and the final girl front right went on flush today, day 56! Over the week I gave 3 girls a really heavy defoliation taking the majority of fan leaves off to allow good airflow and try fattening up those lower buds. It’s still impossible to tell if I prefer defoliation or not but we are getting close to harvest so should have a definitive answer to that soon! The back right girl has had absolutely no defoliation or trimming through her life cycle. I still regularly think back to when we broke one of the girls and transplanted, the cannabis gods were on our side warning us 4 girls will be huge, we were very lucky or would be seriously short of space as of now. As the girls are going to be harvested at slightly different times to ensure each are at their optimum, I have had to construct a dry box. How I built my smell free DIY dry box: Take a large cardboard box, cut an extraction hole in the top at one end and mount some ducting and seal the gap around the edge. Cut a flap in the opposite end at the bottom which will be the passive intake and promoting a draft through the hanging buds. Poke some holes in each end of the box using a screwdriver and thread some thin rope or string through the box tying the ends together once finished to give you sturdy locations to hang some pegs from. Finally I attached an extra bit of card on one of the flaps at the top; this overlaps the slight gap in the top between the flaps that could allow light to enter. Once completed I put the ducting into one of the lower intakes of the tent; the negative pressure in the tent then uses the air in the dry box as a passive intake creating a smell free area to dry your cannabis outside of your grow tent. This also keeps a slight breeze flowing through the box to ensure even drying. 167 grams for 2 plants. went 9 weeks, Had a bit budrot in one of the phenos at week 10. Very easy to grow, not a big stretcher imo. Maybe double it size. Havee a gassy pheno and a fruity pheno. If you look for a outstanding indica with extra on the taste e and smell and a heavy hitter...search no further

Burned tips on clones too... Lot of plain rain water for everyone! Anyway, buds look great : they're long and get fatter. I tried a wet sample in vaporizer yesterday : it tasted bad but it was potent enough to put a smile on my face... 😋 So I removed a few popcorn buds and put them to dry : it's covered with trichromes and it smells good. I'll vaporize this dry sample later, no doubt it'll taste better.

I visited her for the last time today, and I'm going on vacation, I'll be back in 3 weeks, I think she'll be ready :) I hope the weather won't rain :) so next time I think it'll be harvest time:).

Day 92: what’s happening guys! Week 14 is here. Temps have been okay and humidity has been okay. I’ve got the 400w hps set up and it’s dropped temps slightly and slightly raised humidity which is what I wanted. In my opinion she’s looking ready for the chop! I’m seeing plenty of cloudy trichomes and a few ambers and I’m going for less of a couch lock so I’m thinking around now she is ready. I started plain water 6 days ago and she’s recieved 2L,1L and then 1L again today. All leaves have started yellowing, I imagine this is the plant pulling the nitrogen from the leaves as there’s none at the roots. How much longer does she need to be fed plain water for before she is ready for the chop? Thanks! Stay safe and happy growing✌️🌱🍁 End of the day edit: I decided to harvest the majority of her. The bottoms just a bit under developed so I’ll leave it going a bit longer. After chopping and taking photos out of the hps light the nugs are looking a tinge purple although I can’t see it as strong with my eyes. Hopefully I’ll get a wet weight later so I can add it to the diary later on. Temp is around 24c and humidity is 45-55. How does that sound? I’ve got extractor at the top and a fan at the bottom. We’ll see how long it takes to dry, hoping to go for atleast 5 days. With the virus going around I’m really making use of what I have at home so hopefully the climate will hold up🤞 any tips and advice about drying and curing etc is hugely appreciated🙏 I’ll be back with the harvest update once she’s dried out✌️many thanks happy growing!🍁🌱 She weighed in wet at 110 grams. One Lsd-25 is moving fast while the other is still behind, they all started at the same time. Im thinking week 8 the lsd -25 plant should be ready for flushing. The Blackberry autos are doing good no signs of stress or lack nutrients

Day 77 I'm running out of vertical space for pinus contorta, this weekend i will open the box to move the leds higher and will try to do some decent photos. At this point i've added the Pinus purple matcha to the diary because she's huge and impossible to not notice, should be around 1,5m² almost 150cm tall. Had to do a very risky move and "soft crop" 2 apicals because of burn risk, too close to the leds. I wasn't expeting a freakin' tree like that!
