Hello growers and tokers! 👋 👩‍🌾 🧑‍🌾.🔥💨 There has been much change this week!! First there was a big defoliation done, I cleaned the bottom of the plants. All the growth that wouldn't amount to anything because the light doesn't penetrate that low. Also took off the biggest fan leaves to give more light penetration. Then finally switched to 12/12.. After just 36 hours after the defoliation there wasn't much change Some new growth..the colas are stacking nicely which is good. Hope they stretch some more still.. I'm still watering every other day, After the defoliation I watered with only Enzymes 2ml/L to clean the roots a bit then started with the nutrientes again. I dropped the amount of grow nutrients from 3ml/L to 1ml/L and started adding bloom nutrientes 2ml/L for now. I'll slowly be upping the bloom nutrientes and after week 2 I'll no longer add grow nutrients. That's it for this week. Stay tuned to see how they flower. Stay safe!

Hello my grower friends. As @xii_xii_mrgreen suggested me, I am sharing with you the recipe for Marrakech butter. It's cannabis butter made with all the leftover waist, curing, and leftover grinders. Each time a leaf is filled with resin, I put it aside. After a few sessions, I have enough to make ganja butter. For this tour there are cultural leftovers loaded with THC and almost as much CBD. It is also a good technique to fully use plants grown outdoors that have more leaves than indoors. Ingredients and utensils I live in an area that produces a lot of butter. I chose the best: echiré butter. https://www. echirelebeurredefrance. fr/ I saw some at Harrods, KDW and Corte Ingles. I only visit the top floor of these stores. Otherwise, choose a good, greasy, yellow butter. Gauze or compresses filter the mixture finely so as not to find small pieces of grass in the butter. This recipe is only valid for real butter and does not work with vegetable butter. Preparation Before rolling the recipe you can boil your ganja for 5 minutes to “clean” it if it is dusty. It must then be dried for at least 2 days. I do not do this so as not to degrade the good stuff and when cooling the impurities remain at the bottom in the juice, the butter is on top. At this stage you can set some aside to season your pizza. Estimate the quantity compared to what you put into a hit. It is not necessarily a good idea to put it in a simmering dish because it changes the taste a lot. I melt 4 times the weight of the butter leaves in 4 times the weight of the butter in water. So here for 35g of leaves I melt 140g rounded to 150g of butter in 600g of water in a stainless steel saucepan. Heat until the butter. Add the leaves and mix gently. Cover a tiny amount of broth. The water stays below and should not completely evaporate. This is very important otherwise the butter or the leaves are burnt. It is necessary that the grease begins to isolate on the surface. It takes between 2 am and 3 am. It smells much less good than in the oven and disgusting, which is why I do not recommend putting it in stewed dishes. Allow to cool to room temperature. When the soup is lukewarm it must be filtered. To facilitate demolding, I recommend that you put plastic film at the bottom of a fully concave bowl, put gauze or compresses to refine the filtration. It's also easier to press the rest of the leaves. The fats will float on the cooking juices. When the bowl is cold, put it in the fridge. The next day unmold. I got 92g of Marrakech butter. Potency should be tested on an empty stomach and adjusted in small quantities every hour. Use Butter is ready and can be consumed immediately. It is perfectly digestible but the taste is not very good. In the form of butter, the best is to spread it on bread with a slice of smoked salmon on top, a few drops of lemon and serve a glass of chablis. Very good also spread on bread to accompany oysters. Probably its green, grassy taste is reminiscent of seaweed. It loses some of its flavor mixed with chocolate and spread. You can melt a little bit of it in the tomato sauce of your pasta or the soysauce of your rice especially if you eat fish: soysauce water nuoc mam 30 seconds in the microwave, melt only after a little butter in the hot sauce and pour over your rice. You can use it in all hot or cold culinary preparations in place of regular butter if you don't use it all, cut it into individually wrapped portions in cling film and put all of these portions in a freezer bag in the freezer. Day 42-49 (Day 42) Just watered today but couldn’t go until runoff because I didn’t have enough RO. I forgot to add the probiotic too. Nonetheless, everything is starting to recover from those weird deficiencies and is looking super healthy. Plants are really bushing out now too. I had to top the zkittlez and BBB#3 again as they are just getting too big. Nothing is definitively showing sex yet but I’m seeing clues. Shouldn’t be long now. If I get 4 females or less I will use 10gal pots, 5-7 fem 5gal pots and 8-12 3gal pots. I need to stop overwatering. Even though it doesn’t look too overwatered, it is much better to water a little bit each day at lights on. This will help keep the humidity down as well as deliver optimal oxygen to the roots speeding up plant growth considerably. (Day 45) Gave an EM1 spray down today. The beneficial bacteria is said to overpopulate surfaces so powdery mildew and septoria can’t form. Something seems to be really working as I haven’t seen any yet. (Day 47) I sealed up the tent and am running both dehumidifiers and it’s keeping the RH around a safe 70% night and day which is right on track with VPD. Plants are all looking super healthy. Deficiencies have pretty much all cleared up. Cold nights I’m running 600w and warmer nights I’ll run 400w. I was asking around Instagram about white ash/good burn and a few different people assured me it has to do with mineral content of the soil. I was told the three best products for clean ash is glacial rock dust/basalt, oyster shell flour and langbeinite. I already have langbeinite so I’ll grab the other amendments today and top dress. I grabbed the amendments and also got some Destiny Organics dark matter super soil, coco and some beneficial nematodes. Top dressed each amendment except langbeinite and mulched in some coco coir. (Day 48) My shelf came in today and I think it may be to big for the 4x4 tent. Each square is 12”, not the 11.8” advertised. I could wipe down my flower room and set it up in there which would give my plants a good adjustment to the new lights before I flip. Or I could set it up in the veg tent but that seems like a huge hassle as the need to be moved and flipped soon anyway. I wish they would show sex already so I can toss out the plants I’m not keeping. For flower I am considering starting over fresh with the new Destiny soil and coco mixed with some amendments. I’m concerned that my current mix might be too hot. I could also dilute it with the Destiny/coco mix. Those little bulb mites that came in with the worm castings are a little concerning as well. Some say they are just beneficial composters aka “worm bin mites” and others are telling me they’re predatory bulb mites which destroy crops like garlic. I’m leaning towards beneficial composters but in another grow I watched them devour a seedling before it sprouted. Gotta check the current roots but the plants aren’t quite ready to be transplanted. (Day 49) Got everything in the flower tent wiped down and sprayed with alcohol then EM1 few hours later. Got the shelf set up and got all my temp controls set up and running. I put the controllers outside the tent this time and will patch any light leaks. Gave a lite compost tea at 830ppm and a velokelp foliar spray at 6ml/L. This will be the last veg feeding before I transplant into their final containers on the 31st. BCTG#2 is a confirmed male and I pulled him. No one else is showing definitively. Roots looked super healthy with very few mites but I’m not 100% convinced they’re all clean. I saw a few mites on leaves today too. Saw a bit of droop after the move but they all look happy just a few hours later. Took a few clones from some sucker branches on a few of the blackberries.

Mexican Airlines is looking good. I'm doing some LST experimentation on her so far I'm seeing some nice development from the lower nodes, tried spreading those nodes out today. She's front-left in the group pics.

Growing her was very simple she was a fast grower with very even canopy. Good disease resistance and very strong watering routine, great size plant for little maintenance. Guaranteed great grow for everyone

This grill went really well. In growing three different strains it did pose a bit of a problem later in flower due to differing light conditions needed by the three different plants. The Cali Kush being more Indica required less light and the jack Herer needed a bit more to finish nicely. This caused some light stress to the Cali Kush which caused late flower Hermes but didn’t cause any long-term problems like seeds or burn. All in all I’m happy with 600 g from a 4 x 4 tent and a 480 W light. This is especially true when you add in the Gaia Green and how easy it makes growing.

Unfortunately what we never want to happen has happened with my baby.. bud rot.. on day 98 of cycle I found 1 bud with bud rot, cut it off, checked the plant and could not find more.. flushed the plant and wait next day to see how it goes. After 2 days main bud was identified with bud rot too.. so sad.. probably due high humidity in my environment + colder weather we are starting to have.. so on day 101 harvest it.. could go few more days to get more amber trichomes but decided to harvest it to avoid lose more buds .. I will keep watching it to see if no spread when drying :(

End of Week 12 (Fifth week of flower) The ladies are smelling reDANKulous and are so frosty and sticky I can't remove fan leaves without getting my hands sticky. Next level terpene profiles. I did a final increase in CO2 to 1500ppm. The main top-sites are taking shape. I have been keeping a cooler average temperature - and also keeping the relative humidity lower. Pest Report: None
