Next year I'm going to put bands of sticky tangle foot around the cherry tree in Oct, canker moths will emerge in Nov and have no luck getting back into that tree to lay eggs for next year. Top dress of a couple cups of home made compost with 20tbps of Gaia Green AP/PB, 70/30, 10tbps for smaller airpot. Fungus gnatts are always annoying in my smaller pots. Airpots make it fun because now they go in the sides, trying shade cloth which I normally use anyways around the pot. Did some super cropping of the small plant as well, looking good, no signs of flower yet, but I'm sure the pots maxed soon so we'll see. Witnessed the brood of Chickadees in my nest box take first flight, what a sight. Now I have a family of 7 eating those damn caterpillars. Half dose of silica / diablo maxx, and some drip, weekly LCPT spray and that's a wrap.

Week 2 Mr.B's Six shooter so this one is doing fine, still no water needed since last week, literally no maintenance required, just spraying the soil with 0.25 ml / 250ml organic amino acid concentrate. You know how canna boost smells like soy sauce, well this one smells like that kinda except when i open it my whole basement smells like a chineese wok restaurant lol . Six shooter looks like i got three phenos , this one is an indica pheno looks like , let's see how she grows ! added cal mag to the foliar spray, once only this week, on day 5. amino spray on the soil is daily, until the 10 day mark. still only going to be plain water and secondary nutrients like CO2 and micronutrients . that's the plan anyway. June 28: Tropicana Cookies FF is progressing nicely and well timed for the end of June. Supercropped (HST) the two main stems to bring the outer growth tips to the same elevation as the four inner ones. Week 4 is here! putting in some over time with the leaf tucking, this girl is very short and bushy! Prepping for her stretch, opening the plant out nicely so light can hit deep down. She is stretching slowly and throwing pistils everywhere. Im holding fingers she stretches some more

Getting super fat, calyx's have started turning a bit purple. Was concerned it was bud rot, inspected with jewelers loupe. Seems fine, will watch closely. I have cloudy trichromes, no ambers yet.

Great week

She's moving along into flower and I've started using a little bloom nutes now that the stretch is tapering off. Took off a few fan leaves that were blocking some bud sites and removed some lower growth that wouldn't make much more than underdeveloped larf. She's definitely crowded in the tent, but she's continuing to go through her paces and should stay on track. She's starting to effervesce and it's a sweet earthy note with a more skunky stem rub. Lets see where this week takes us!

Week 9 - flushed with plain water. Plants have a great smell and are insanely sticky! Buds are looking very dense and heavy, a bit more than round 1.

I’ve stopped worrying about them. Added a CO2 bag and a net. They are beautiful and healthy.

La alegria que se palpita es mucha! Siempre soñe con tener cogollos oscuros y esta es la primera vez! Es notable la diferencia entre la planta fertilizada con namaste y la de feeding, aunque con este solo utilize el Grow y el Booster. Esta ultima tiene un aroma mas plano, sutil, pero gana en volumen. En cambio con la que utilize namaste destaca mas la precencia de ese aroma como a frutos del bosque, dulce y terroso. A comienzos de pre flora aparecieron unos gusanos verdes que se multiplican muy rápido. La mayoria la elimine a mano, pero lo ideal es utilizar jabon potasico + Aceite de neem para eliminarlos inmediatamente.

Lady runtz has started to form buds. I'm more than happy with the growth so far. Meanwhile I'm having problems with the height. I'll probably have to remove the fan and charcoal filter from the tent to make more room at the top.

Total days above ground: 63 Total flower nights: 24 Just beyond 3 weeks into flower and the plants are showing their potential. The Mountaintop Mint has made great strides but is still a lanky bitch. I had to HST every branch, and may need to bend a couple more down before vegetative growth abates. Not a fan of this growth pattern and still unhappy about 2 out of 9 seeds providing a viable outcome. The bright side is that yield should be fine given the plethora of bud sites. Despite being difficult to grow next to other plants, I feel much better about its prospective outcome than I did just 1 week ago. That whole "crazy shit can happen in flower" thing rings true, again. Overall the canopy has filled in nicely. I have a couple spots where light is wasted and I'll make some adjustments to the process to fix that for future grows. Now that I've settled on plant size and number of plants, improvements can be made each cycle until it's clockwork. I like the 12-cola vs 8 cola experiement. I've got a fairly long list of edits to make to various sections of my "bible," which means I liked the outcomes of most of my incremental adjustments. Continual, systematic improvement in action... One other incremental change on the docket but not yet realized will be dropping nutrient concnetration once vegetative growth ends. Exact timing will be based on what I see in the foliage. I see some minor tip curl and its a bit darker than I want. So, it may come sooner than later. This'll be something I tweak over the next few grow cycles until I'm happy with the late-flower health. I'll drop fertilizer concentration 10-15% on next refill and see how that plays out. It'll take a couple refills of reservoir to near 100% transition without draining it. If necessary, I'll drain and do a full refill for more pressing needs. A rez scrub before final stretch is coming, regardless. Side note: The impacts of VPD can be enormous. Last year (2025-2 diary) I had a humidifier wick get fouled and RH dropped while VPD spiked for more than a few days, thinking I could power through or that the canopy would soon provide more moisture. Nope, growth stalled in a significant way. By comparing day 34-42-49 of 2025-2 and day 38-42-49 of this diary, I can see a huge difference in growth at same point above ground. The consitency with which i do things makes it fairly certain it's the extende period with extremely high VPDs that caused the difference. Also, interesting that it mostly catches back up by completion of third week of flower. The size difference is nearly undone by this point, though 2025-2 took 4 days longer vege phase to get there. Even so, I still think this grow is more than 4 days ahead of 2025-2 (the difference in vegetative phae duration). Time will tell if the development is ahead of the pace in 2025-2 or whether it's simply mostly an offset due to a less efficient vege phase for 2025-2.

Week 5, nothing much, i actually let her chill for a bit. Watered with 5L, 5.9 PH, 1ml/L PowerRoots and 3ml/L Terra Grow. She is doing great! Some light defoliation of the crowded lower half, and some slight LST readjustments. Her cracks from the training week 3/4 are healing nicely! Planning to flip to flower during late week 6 or beginning week 7.
