Infrared light, particularly near-infrared (NIR), can influence plant growth and development by impacting various processes including initiation and elongation. UVB radiation inhibits stem and hypocotyl elongation in plants. Moderate UV-B exposure can cause a decrease in stem and leaf elongation, leading to a more compact plant architecture. Higher UV-B intensities, like 7.5 kJ·m−2, can lead to reduced elongation. So it becomes a dance of initiating a stretch to seek to higher ppfd, then whenever you want the stretching to slow down,UVB inhibits the stretch by altering hormone balance,, coupled with the high-intensity dli once you get her to a height where you want. Being autos I don't have much time to play around. So we are playing fast and loose, get stretched, and then spread her open. You get the idea. 86F 30% RH with the lower side of optimal on ppfd, with a smudgering of infra-red to initiate response of making her stretch more so than normal. Once she sprouts up in height, I drop metrics to 77F 55%RH% while upping the ppfd, giving her a dash of extra 430nm, giving the grow more of a 6000K. This encourages denser growth with less elongation. Higher side of optimal PPFD, with the auxin hormone balance changed, the side stems are starting to shoot up to the same canopy level as the apex (almost). Normally takes me 2 untrained toppings before a plant will flatten its canopy. I didn't take enough off the apex to do it in one chop, it was only day 10, so there really wasn't much to top from without creating unpredictable results using fim, opted just to keep it to a clean topping. Even predictability over the Chaos of the"Fim". Brainfart: Remember, the veg stage creates the skeleton that will stretch out into flowers. How dense you create the skeleton through light intensity will determine the density of your clusters as they form cola, as long as you can keep up with the demands. Increasing light intensity generally leads to plants having shorter internodal spacing, meaning the distance between nodes (where leaves grow) on a stem is reduced. Very fast seedling process, seeds stayed soaking for 24h and in the water they were already showing the first white root hair, another 48h in the paper towel and the day I potted them up they showed cotyledons. They took around 11 days to reach third node and complete germination but honestly I belive it could be faster if in better enviroment, mainly the humidity which was low and I transplanted them a day late. From day 5 I started feeding them exact same nutrients and ratio from the first vegetative week but starting at 0.4EC and increasing by 0.1EC/day until 1.1EC

Eh estado desconectado pero aquí va algo más de estas nenas, aun las tengo en periodo de vegetación. Lo que si esta semana logramos instalar la carpa correspondiente para estas nenas así que estamos esperando a llenar la carpa y poder pasar a floración. La estructura habla por si sola, aun no le hago amarres correspondientes ya que estoy esperando que me lleguen los soportes y poder darle más vigor del que ya tiene con el apoyo. Estamos probando cannaboost via folear 3 veces por día 2 ml x litro. lo vamos a utilizar hasta el día 21 de floración y comenzamos vía riego. quiero comprobar diferencias ya que todos mis cultivos tengo que probar alguna cosa nueva ya sea estilo de alimentación o lo que sea. Second week went good. The only issue is humidity goes up quite a bit when lights are off. I'll just add more wind to prevent further issues. What do you guys think? Also, I noticed some top leaves clawing and growing thin, like tacoing upside down. Still long weeks ahead, we'll see how it goes ;) 😅 😄 Thank you and happy growing!

Even problemen gehad met de ph-waarde, waardoor er waarschijnlijk geen correcte voedingsopname was. Mijn planten werden lichter van kleur en sommige bladeren werden zelfs duidelijk geel tussen de nerven.😕 Ik ga er althans vanuit dat dit het probleem was, aangezien ik eventjes kraantjeswater gaf voor de cal en mag maar dit niet afzuurde. Vandaag testte ik de ph-waarde van het kraantjeswater met mijn nieuwe ph meter en kwam ik uit op 7.2, niet goed voor kokos dus. Ik schakelde meteen weer over naar regenwater, wat met voedingsstoffen in mooi uitkwam op ph 5.8👌 Hopend dat ze zich herstellen, update volgt. De groei gaat gelukkig mooi door!💚 Update 11 mei: 2 planten toonden magnesiumtekort door vorige ph problemen met kapotte meter. Je kan dit nog zien op de foto's tussen de nerven. Zwaar aangetaste blaadjes weggehaald. Intussen kokos verbetert met kieseriet (magnesium) en geen Epsomzout omdat ik dit een lapmiddel vind en liever op lange termijn werk. Na problemen met de ph en substraat gespoeld te hebben, nu ook weer voeding aan het opbouwen👊 Planten voor buiten in een kas, maar hier kreeg ik de luchtvochtigheid niet onder controle (bleef boven de 80 zitten). Ze zijn nu verhuisd naar hun nieuwe verblijf, mijn schuur waar ik altijd kweekte. Buitenkas was een test, maar is dus geen goede optie👎 Op de foto's en video kan je zien dat ze nu veel beter wonen🌱 Update 14/05 : Eerst laten herstellen van magnesiumtekort. Fimmen + LST gestart. Ik leg mijn planten graag plat💚

Initially ran this plant as a way to get dial in my tent and setup while coming to grasp with tent growing in general. Since its an autoflower the growing was easy. However this is a very commercial seed bank and the quality you get is in line with that. Now i'm moving, getting a larger setup, and going to run more genetics. Zamnesia will not be a part of that.

Ernie is going to likely be much stronger, with less buds. Ernie smells crazy strong, is very greasy, and shines a very vibrant blue with flash on. without the camera flash I can still see some overall blue to the plant much more the Bert. I took the ScrOG off to see what the plant would do no buds fell of but damn I see why its not a good idea. The plants do smell much stronger 2 days since the ScrOG came off and have continued to increase their smell and trichome length.

Nice color changes on MF Roy #4 this pheno has been interesting from start to finish! Excited to see what the upcoming harvest and dry/cure has in store!

Last week of veg, i think these girls will start to flower the next couple of days! At the moment great results under this TS1000 as always! We gave a very light nutrients this week just to jave some nitrogen as im using a light mix as soil, lets see how it goes the next weeks 😁💪 1 of the 6 cherry colas showed some strange leaves not sure if its genetics or what happened with that plant but lets see if she continues to flower normally now or not

Well, week 9 of flower in the books and she is done as of this posting on 5/19 (day 63). She finished up well and the trichome development has nice mix of milky with a little amber. She's is extremely frosty and gives off a super strong smell of fruity goodness. She'll be cut down today, so stay tuned for the subsequent harvest report and pics. All in all, first time DWC bucket grow went well, in my estimation. It's a lot of work, but the results speak for themselves. I learned a lot with respect to monitoring ph, ppm, and ppfd readings, as well as reading my plant for visual cues. I eventually understood I needed daily readings b/c growing hydro conditions can change on a dime, especially for someone new to this growing method. But once I found my stride, the process became a bit easier. An important lesson learned was how much space is needed for hydro vegetative and flower growth. I literally had to move from the original 2x4 tent to the larger 3x3. And that is where she finished up. First time growing using Ganja Farmer seeds. The genetics are excellent and I can hardly wait for dry/cure to complete, so I can put her to the smoke test. And that, Amigos y Amigas, puts a bow on this spring's Ganja Farmer Seeds TKO grow.

My Runtz plant has some dark green leaves, and they're the most interesting of all the plants in the tent. They're really pointy and almost look like they have some old European genetics. It's been a challenging week with the constant rain and ridiculously high humidity. Keeping things dry indoors has been a real struggle. Despite the weather, I managed to flip all my feminized photoperiod plants to flower this week. I'm hoping the switch will go smoothly, but with this humidity, it's going to be tough.
