Learned a lot from this grow and am very happy with the results. Pulled 2.8 Oz and 1.1 Oz of trim/popcorn buds in a one gallon pot. Definitely wont be doing that again, but had a lot of fun throughout the entire process. Going to be starting another grow soon! Very excited for that.

🌱 🤓 Spent this week keeping up with hefty defoliation and canopy maintenance. Two separate rounds of defoliation occurred this week, the last round included the removal of any branches that were growing. In the underbrush who had not yet made it to the surface of the canopy. Branches that hang out in the underbrush contribute to poor air flow while simultaneously sucking energy from the plant. I don't want my plant wasting energy on poor producing branches, so they gotta go! I also made sure to try and remove the same branches on all new mains as to keep the plant as symmetrical as possible. ✌️💜🌱

Not much growin on this week just watering and letting them grow. No smell yet Increasing light to 80% Nutrients in previous week and next week

The most difficult strain to grow this cycle, I do not know whether it’s due to the irrigation of the pot she resides in, causes this slow growth, and making matters worse nearly fried her with nutrients, so I flush but it turned out I was overwatering with the flushing, so I have allow it dry up a bit and incrementally flush due to the slow drainage from this pot, though she revegged I will not add nutrients, since she’s this far in her flowering phase, I don’t want to risk not having enough time to flush before harvest.

Day 1 Kinda fattening up now. I guess I'm getting close to the end now. No feeding so far. Trichs are still mostly clear on the buds (with some amber and cloudy in between) so I'll need to wait some more for the flush but it won't be long... let's see... Nutrient values above are still at 100% from the last feed but next feed I'll back down for sure. I'll go 75% next time, maybe 50%, maybe 0% and I'll flush depending on how she gets along...

Yooooooooyoyoyoyoyooooo, Beginning of week 12. Could i harvest already? Yes. But i want to wait at least one more week until harvest so probably week 13. I read that waiting a week more than usual can boost potency and yield as long as it won't get too hot, but it won't - hopefully lol. The E.C. was kinda high 1.1 So i partially cleaned the reservoir, emptied about 6 liters and refilled it with pH water Well the Plant is looking absolutely stunning and is definitely one of the best looking plant i ever grew. In Reallife she is looking so much better. Over all trichomes over trichomes, the buds get more and more purple, and they look SO dense, I LOVE IT! Really good genetic. If i can get my hands on the Photoperiod strains from fastbuds i will grow some mother plants and will try cloning for the first time, Growing in Deep water culture is awesome. For me, it's more fun than on soil. i want to try coco but if i try coco i will buy something like the autopot system. im too stupid for hand watering and will screw up at some point. the less i have to handwater the lower the risk Thats for this week, have a wonderful day, and see you next week, cheers!

End of the first few days of the transition. They all got a significant defoliation to open up space in the canopy for branching and the plants responded incredibly well to it. Plants 1&2 started to show immediate deficiency signs after defoliation and I upped the nute ratios by about 50%/liter with the Berkana. Voracious feeder and growers these are for sure. That said, their growth rate is phenomenal and the side branching is especially impressive and responsive to training. Veg. Maturity on all of em for the last week so it’s a fast growing strain all around👌. Well throw down the scrog net in a couple of days after we hack out the lower portions of each plant and take clones for all of em but the runt (#8). The clones will be flowered fast in the aeroponic cloner and pollinated for F3 generation seed. Bud characteristics on this run will then determine which clones get tested first based on best characteristics of the lot. So far this run has been incredibly impressive but only the bud quality will tell the true tale. Here’s hoping for continued good progress. ***Grow notes: stretching at about 1/2” per day over the last 3 days of transition. Side branching reaching enough maturity to start taking cuts. Minor deficiency signs post-defol. So increasing nute ratios on a slightly accelerated basis continues to be the norm.

Show off the behind the scenes stuff that leads to boss lady’s pictures. Now we will see how we get to those shots. And what a way to start! Wickedstixgenetics Herercane. A custom breed brought to us by the former machine that was green! We’ve seen the fire that comes from his grows so I’m really pumped to take this project on. We have his full line and will be running them all right here and on insta. Since this was a Greenmachine breed and venture, how could I NOT run this in dutch buckets. This man saved my hydro ass more than a few times, and he raves these buckets and maxi since the day we first said hello. So that’s how this will be done. This bucket set up is basically just a scaled down version of the one I built for when they get bigger. After seeing how much size his solo cups did and ours is doing in 16oz cups, I decided to do the veg in this set up using 24oz or so cups. Once they are ready for flowering I’ll transplant into the big table I’m still putting finishing touches on. So, here it is. The beginning of something wonderful. Please follow along. Began LST on the taller plants. Things are running smooth and the plants are happy! Temps were running slightly hotter than normal. But nothing these resilient plants can’t handle. 2x Stunted seedlings are showing new growth and look like they are recovering just fine - excited to see how they will turn out.
