So i did top them yesterday. Increased the lights to 75% (2x75w=150w). They now will get some time to recover. I will start with some lst soon. End of this week they will get their final 11Litre pots (Rootpouch).

We'll call this the beginning of week 1, she's up and growing. The MegaCrop should push her growth a little and really get her off on the right foot. Debating topping or LST, not sure how this one's gonna play out, but I'll see how fast she make a vertical move before the final decision is made. Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. 06/23/2020 Here she is very well pollinated, and fattening up! I will post a video of her mid week to show her progress. The waiting begins. I'am really hopping #3 passes his flower structure (week 3 first pic) into the cookie cake for bigger buds, and less cookie like structure but either way taste should be great and potency off the charts!🙏 06/24/2020 Video 2 shows remains of Red Sky male, his pollen is a nice yellow. I kept 1.4grams and must of been 5 grams on floor and walls!

She is in full flower now, I change the nutriënts to flower and removed all the lower grow.

Everything seems to go very good with this plant it's growing very fast is a monster in growth looks like it is on steroids fantastic genetics. The smell is very powerful now definitely give you a preview of things to come thank you for reading I will continue to update a happy grow

The grow cycle went smoothly, I did not update this diary as much as before, because I realised that I enjoy more the whole growing process than the documentation part.

DAY 83 - 26/05/2025 - COLHEITA First cycle results: Despite a broken branch in the third week of flowering, the harvest was 35 grams. I ended up tasting it uncured, and it was wonderful. After a month of curing, the grassy flavor has completely disappeared, maintaining a sweet tea with a hint of sour green apple. When smoking, the taste lingers with each puff, leaving a similar aftertaste in the mouth. The effects are energizing, upbeat, and creative. I've already reserved space for it in my next cycle, but this time I'll use FastBuds Afghan Kush Auto for more relaxing effects.

I used ghe flora kleen for a few days then plant phed water for a few and chopped yesterday. Next to come is the harvest, can't wait to see the weight off this baby.

OK so I think I had a nute burn problem, this week they are on pure water and seem to be perking up a lot more now. Punch 2 has deffo put more on in buds, Punch 2 seems to be lagging idk. Anyway that's it for this week! I actually only have 2 more weeks to finish them off😭 I don't think I'm going to have enough time.

So I have spider mites. I screwed up so much i think this is going 15 weeks. Lost coast to the rescue! time to finish these buggers off
