What a monster I'm happy to have stepped up to the big pot. I'm going bigger 馃槼馃.... This girl is a little restricted but I gave her a good defoli and the smooth light is spread out as best as i can get.

This week I tried to let them go, only did some gnat hunting with the vacuum to keep populations down. Sunshine found a great way to hold the plant down with some thrift store Christmas light fixtures. At the end of this week, I tied the remaining upward stalks down and away. The final bits of training before we can hopefully go towards flowering coming week. I did some foliar feeding also to help the soil dry out a bit, also to fight the gnats. Maybe overdid it a bit with a few yellow points on the leaves. On to flowering!!

Week 8 Day 49 to harvest P1 harvest was flower day 53 - total wet weight was 24oz and the stem base accounted for 8.0oz, so about 16oz set to dry. I fed P1 half nute flush water again this week. Feed this week was 1.25 gallons 1 time. I used 400ppm Bloom concentrate mix (recipe week 5). However, I also added .5ml/gal of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) and 7ml of Roots Organics HP2 (Aurora Innovations 0-4-0). PH balance this week was 6.3. And then cut her down 4 days later. P2 harvest was flower day 49 - total wet weight was 16.3oz and the stem base accounted for 6.4oz so about 9.9oz set to dry. (reminder that P2 was the test plant where I broke the main stem and later another later topping from an off branch already topped.) The test resulted in smaller colas in the later topping and the first topping break recovered surprisingly well with colas equal to the biggest. However the later break after the last topping resulted in the smallest cola. This tells me that any damage survived early can see a full recovery but later ones may cost yield. Since P2 looked mostly ready to harvest I decided to dry out after the first feed this week. I will update with cure and smoke details later.

Day 44 - The smell is divine, and the buds are looking very pretty. Beautiful fade going on in the leaves, almost like a purple/red/black. Planning to tapper down the nutrients as we are coming closer to Harvest. Crucial to keep the pH in range during flowering and being away a few days, I wasn't able to correct it until I was back. So they were drinking more water than uptaking nutrients.. leaving a high EC in the system. Corrected the issue by adding plain RO water, treated with cleanse, no nutrients. They are now on track and could do with a last defoliation, but I've been holding it off. Will get around to it over the next few days. The buds are sticky, smell great and rock hard. Dehumidifier was added to the tent to try lower the humidity to a better range. Can't wait to see the end results and product. Another 2 weeks an I think we will be good.

Day 105 The Pinus Contorta Purple Matcha is going crazy with the smell, 1 or 2 more weeks for more trichomes to turn amber. The Fresh Pressed Runtz is doing good too but she's far from being ready (on paper 10 weeks vs the 8/9 of the purple matcha).

I definitely will be growing this again but I鈥檒l make sure my humiditys on point so I never have to be in this situation again, I鈥檇 recommend this strain to anyone novice or expert. I did nothing to these plants dident top them, defoliate or LST I let them grow all natural. I鈥檝e heard glueberry O.G. is a squirter when put in a rosin press so I鈥檒l update everyone on that once flowers are dry.0

Just fattening and stacking this week! 鉂わ笍 the colours are popping, the tricomes are carpeted, these ladies are just beautiful 馃槏 I鈥檝e been keeping the airflow high, it鈥檚 been hot and humid here, making sure these beauties don鈥檛 develop any issues in the last few weeks. No signs of pests, or PM, I did a small defoliation to help increase the airflow, as well as unblock some sites for that last push at growth. Can鈥檛 wait for these to be wrapped up, some of the best development I鈥檝e seen with my homegrown yet!

09/13/2018 Nutes up to 2/3strength, going up to full at next reservoir change. She is putting on nice growth, had to raise light due to leaf burn, but only one leave affected, I think I will flip to flowering next week. She has 9fingered leaves but in veg she's very Indica like, hopping she has more sativa like flower stretch.馃檹 Topped and lite defoliation.
