Hi guys, some surprises this week. We are now on transition to Flowering period, i have already seen some pre flowers, really smalll. Everything is doing really great , just one plant is with some signals of high fertilization, but nothing critic, its the most small of them. I m watering the plant almost every day, yesterday ( 19/04) i watered with 500ml of water mixed with Bio nova autoflower supermix, and RQS bloom tablets, like 1/8 of tablet per liter. They are drinking a lot now. I will keep every day watering with around 350 - 500 ml per plant, i will vary that according to the plant size and the conditions of the soil. In terms of heat, its doing ok, i added now one more ventilation inside the tent to keep more air moving around the plants. This week, i have also done more LST trainings, really small adjustments, i will do more LST when i start to see big flowers. My plant on the balcony suffered a lot because of my cats ahaha, she is now inside on a window , is recovering but slow growing, she stretched because of lack of light. Today i also decided to switch my main LED 600 W to only red light, only bloom, i was on full spectrum but i will keep for some days on red to give more height to the plant , i also improved the light distance to 70 cm, before was 60 cm. Now the height is around 15 - 20 cm, i want to improve a little the most small ones. Next week, flowering week 😜 I have one doubt , should i defoliate some fan leaves? or that procedure is only on advanced bloom phase ? And should i Keep the Full spectrum, Veg and Bloom LED on, Blue and red. ?

Lemon cherry cookies,Cherry cola and Ztrawberriez are all getting closer to harvest.They are still drinking heavy and trichomes are almost all cloudy on the 3.I still have a lot more time left with Strawberry pie,Papaya cookies,and Pound cake which they are all starting to show some maturity.

Germ Week1 (Day 1 Feb24) Stilton and Tropical Berry done directly into a riot cube sat in a bed of biobizz light mix in a solo cup 2 fruity widow seeds sat into a wet paper towel in a ziploc bag Feb 27 - no real move from the widow's in the bag, so i moved one of them into a riot cube Mar 1 - action from stilton, but the others not really doing much. Mar 2 -widow 2 is dead. went to the shop and got myself a barney's farm critical kush, into a paper towel What's the plan here? Hoping for 4 different strains to give me 4 different reactions to the same conditions and maybe I'll find something that likes the space i've set up I've never done direct to substrate before, but seems to work fine. Doing the kush in a bowl just because it feels more comfortable to me, but likely not a big deal What are we doing different this time? Try to watch and maintain temp and humidity as well as possible. In seedling I'll look to mist the riot cube once per day, in the morning, with a tiny bit of water As soon as the first set of leaves touches the edge of the cup i'll transfer to final pot and hopefully have some micro-r to help the transition Looking to maintain as little LED headroom as possible, to try and get the nodes really close Aiming to top at node 3 once I see node 6 just start to pop out Feed once per week and water once per week.

Woche 6 und sie hat sich noch weiter ordentlich gesteckt. Ich musste die Lüftung komplett nach draußen bauen, so daß die Lampe auf die maximalste Höhe im Zelt hängt. Es gab auch die erste Runde BioTabs PK 5-8 als Topdressing. Ende der Woche habe ich noch mal ordentlich entlauben müssen, da gar kein, oder zu wenig Licht auf die unteren Blütenstände durchdringen konnte.

Day 56 Flower — final update before chop. This’ll be the last live update for this run — I’m planning to cut next week and will drop a proper harvest post once everything’s dry and weighed. Gotta say I’m stoked: buds are looking sick, smells are off the charts and after 8 years I can’t wait to finally burn my own harvest. Quick real-talk: biggest headache this run was the night humidity (box was sitting in a wet cold garage — nights were brutal). I ordered the Spider Farmer heater ages ago expecting it to sort that, but shipping got messed up and it never showed on time. If I didn’t already have their inline fan and controller I probably would’ve cancelled and gone another route. Still — despite the rough nights the plants pulled through and the colors/terps turned out gorgeous. Lights/Setup note (what I saw): LED for veg worked great — compact, short internodes, dense canopy. HPS gave the flower its extra stretch and way denser colas — difference was obvious in top size and nug density. Next round I’ll run veg under LED and flip flower to HPS for that chunky, heavy bud structure. General impressions & vibes: Resin city. Most tops are sticky and frosty as hell — touch a cola and your fingers get that gooey, sweet grime immediately. Colours are stunning: purples, bronzes and deep greens — especially on the kush phenos. Cold nights helped bring that out even though they stressed the tent a bit. Canopy filled nicely — lots of even colas across the screen. Smell is absolutely lovely: sweet, cake-y, kushy funk depending on the corner. Strain-by-strain notes (photos + what I noticed) Wedding Cake Portland — sweetest, creamiest nose. Tops are tight and resinous with nice amber pistils coming through. Made some of the chunkiest, most fragrant flowers in the tent. Beautiful frost. Kush Crasher — most frosty of the bunch. Leaves and buds look like they were powdered with sugar. Strong kush terp profile, darker leaves. Real eye-catcher. AK-47 — classic structure, reliable resin and nice citrus/earthy notes. Good mid-bud density, chunky and fragrant. Very consistent. Double Krush — leaner colas but loaded with crystals. Has that layered aroma profile — kush backbone with sweet overtones. Looks like it’ll smoke quite smooth. Wappa — star of the show for me. Fat main colas, gorgeous purple bronzing and a sticky, punchy aroma. Dense, hard buds that scream quality. If there’s a top-shelf winner in this round, it’s Wappa — chunky, potent and beautiful. Big shout: Wappa brought the goods. Detroit Runtz — sweet and fruity, bag appeal for days. Colas are a touch lighter but super sparkly and smelly, classic runtz vibes. Run summary / final thoughts I made mistakes (low nights + humidity were a pain), but overall the plants handled it — produced crazy-looking, fragrant, sticky flowers. I flushed with plain water the last week and let the plants finish their thing. Next run I’ll tweak light strategy (veg LED, flower HPS) and sort the heat/humidity earlier so I’m not battling the box at critical weeks. Big ups to the girls — they pulled through and rewarded me with proper frosty buds. Also big frowny face to Spider Farmer for the late heater delivery — if you’re reading this, sort the logistics — shipping delays hurt growers (I’d been waiting since mid-November). Started the journey with a Mephisto's wedding, and Fantasmo express. Hoping the difference in heights is not too drastic. Plan is to press these plants once harvested. For now, they are little, but barring not having a diffuser for the photo e app, I trust that the environment is on the right track. Finally reaching a year of growing with this one so I'ma focus on the root zone. That's where I usually fall short, but not these. The Meph lab will create monsters after Halloween!

4/7/24 added worm casting(finally) lol 4/8 took off lowest node 4/10 they may have slower growth. Worried about my humidity at night. 4/11 growing more wide now. Trying to tuck leaves to show more of the nodes but they aren’t quite tall enough 4/14 day 21 end of week 3. Both phenos are thick and fluffy. So before talking about the final medicine, let’s make a quick resume of how we got here. ⸻ This entire run was grown 12/12 directly from seed. Minimal intervention. Minimal stress. Almost no training at all besides occasional leaf bending and small adjustments to help light penetration naturally. The plants grew directly into the PPFD we provided, shaping themselves beautifully under the environment instead of being forced aggressively into unnatural structures. And honestly… this style of cultivation continues to impress us more and more every single run. Compact plants. Dense flowers. Massive trichome production. Efficient morphology. Beautiful natural structure. We combined both organic and mineral approaches using Plagron nutrients throughout the cycle, allowing the plants to feed aggressively while still maintaining beautiful terpene development and overall flower quality. The girls finished strong. We harvested during lights-off. We dried them whole-plant style for 10 full days at around 18–20°C and roughly 60% humidity. Then came trimming. Then curing. Then preservation. And now… Around two months later… We finally sit down in the frozen north to truly experience what these girls became. ⸻ And honestly? This medicine is beautiful. Animal Mints might carry “Mint” in the name, but in this particular run, none of the phenotypes expressed any noticeable mint profile at all. And that is completely okay. Because what these girls delivered instead was absolutely outstanding. The dominant profile is unmistakably: Pine. Diesel. Strong earthy-herbal tones. But there is also something else happening underneath it all. A strange sweetness. Not candy sweet. Not fruity sweet. Not sugary sweet. It is almost impossible to explain properly. It sits underneath the pine and diesel like a soft background note that lingers quietly behind the heavier aromas. The more time passes during curing, the more this strange sweetness starts appearing between the earthy layers. And honestly, this is exactly why we love curing so much. The plant evolves. ⸻ On inhale, the smoke immediately hits with a strong pine-diesel combination. Dense. Heavy. Rich. The earthy-herbal profile follows immediately afterward, coating the entire mouth and throat with thick lingering flavor that stays there for a very long time after exhaling. And then comes that strange sweetness again. Not fully identifiable. But present. Like the memory of sweetness rather than sweetness itself. The smoke itself is incredibly smooth despite being extremely dense. Heavy clouds. Rich texture. Oily feeling smoke. You can feel the resin content immediately. ⸻ Now let’s talk effects. And honestly, in a blind test, we genuinely do not think we could confidently tell Plant A from Plant B or Plant C. That level of terpene consistency between phenotypes is incredibly impressive. ⸻ We also want to mention how beautiful this entire project felt visually and emotionally.
