Using dirty aquarium water has been going great through flowering so far, no nitrogen toxicity. 3/11/22 - Defoliated for the last time! Defoliated so there's no moisture buildup between leaves, preventing PM. There were so many leaves, it looked pretty like a beautiful bush - but my intuition told me that those are going to hold too much moisture. Now there is enough space for the buds to fill out with even airflow throughout. They don't look as beautifully full after defoliation but they'll be cleaner & easier to trim come the end of flower. 👻👻👻 Reminder : 👻👻👻 So, I created the diary the 15th of september, I wrotte every previous informations on paper then on a word sheet. I reallized that I got everything to create a diary here, so I did it. I should maybe try to end this first grow without buying any fertilizer and keep going with my home made receips (taken from several sources and reading). I think I will do some fun experiments on a following diary. It is well known, dwarves don't run fast, so next batch will be 3 quick one from royal queen seeds, with smart pot and coco ideas i had. It will be fun an probably in 3-4 weeks (I plane to harvest my dwarves a little bit later around week 11, but I don't know, I have to check trichomes, they will give me the answer.)🙌💩So from week (8) we are in *LIVE* mode for this diary. Hello elves (you are the elves, you reading me). Smiles are allowed (this is unfair you smoke your plants so you have a strong adventage) while reading. Orcs are the pests and desease attacking the dwarves (the 3 plants)👻👻👻 👉 I've cut every branches, it was an amazing experience : My dwarves killed the orcs, they survived and escape from this AMAZING journey. They where really impossible to kill. They suffered from : Overwatering, over defoliation, nutrients burn, probably root rot, to much heat (more than 30 degree for some days), a too small pot... And they smell like : 😅😇😇😇 a wounderfull smell. I did all the "noob" mistakes basically but I learned so much. I started to feed them with home made nutrients and ended to use biobizz really at the end. I don't know what was the best for those dwarves but they made it. I will update this diary with a video and will give in 1-2 weeks the weight dry, I am really curious about it, I left really no branches, they are like ready to be in a jar. So: 👉 The famous 3/3 with amazing colors gave me : 38 gr. wet 👉 The famous 2/3 gave me : 34 gr. wet 👉 The famous 1/3 gave me : 30-31 gr. wet The harvest seems not amazing, I don't know how much weight I may loose by drying (I kept really only the heads). For a first grow, I am happy, because I simply made it. I know that it is now a growing experience, like those wounderfull amazing plants. And I learned a lot. Allready excited to launch a second harvest. A matter of time actually. It was fast, joyfull, stressfull, great to do it. Bueno familia ya finalizamos, estas red hot cookies son una cepa bestial. La verdad que el secado muy bien 7 días en Malla y a los botes, 45% humedad y 23 grados es la temperatura ambiental que han tenido en el secado. 4 plantas que se cultivaron en un armario de 1.20 pero estos ejemplares solo ocuparon 80x80. Así que ya está cultivada esta gran variedad que es novedad este 2020, americana de la familia Cookies, la Tropicanna Cookies (Girl Scout Cookies x Tangie) con un porcentaje de thc entre los 17/25%, una bomba. Que decir de Agrobeta, lo peta 💪 en cuanto a nutrientes. Un saludo y buenos humos.

Visto que el agua de base sale con unos valores muy altos he decido obtar por mezclar el agua de riego con agua destilada mitad/mitad. De esta forma le podré aportar mayor cantidad de nutrientes sin que los valores suban excesivamente. Por otro lado también le añadiré ácido cítrico para bajar el PH. Os presento como voy regando, es un inventillo que hace años hice y sigue dando guerra. Va muy bién para repartir el agua y relentiza el riego haciendo que el agua vaya filtrando mejor por el sustrato. El embudo lleva una malla donde se quedan los restos más grandes y así no se atasquen los abujeros. Alguno dirá que pierde agua pero no es así, el agua que cae fuera es por que no tube punteria al llenar el emudo y casi lo tiro todo fuera. No se puede hacer tres cosas a la vez, soy hombre hehehe. no podia rellenar el embudo, regar y filmar con el movil al mismo tiempo. Y a más el video está reducido a cámara rápida por lo que parece que pierda aun más rápido.

2024.09.12 D64 Its been two busy week, as i trim the 1 pond mother, get aknowledge that my wife use my grow sniper two pruned is badly infested rose bush, since 2 week and never proper clean it whith alcool.😱😱😱😷 in result a massive PM & mithe contamination in my grow tent... 😱😭😷😭 all plant have been shoot with H2O2 at 0.5% and set ouside for 2 day, wich turn to be rainy as f***, until i clean and serilized everything, twice and run the hepa filter .😷😰 the plant look ok, lightly over wartered, but no more pest or PM sign as they return in the tent.. 3 days later PM hardly bonce back, no choice to use more agressive treatment so they all have been shoot with saffer's defender 3 in 1. after 3 shoot in 24h and another tent desinfection we should have get rid of it 🙏 8 day laters everything look fine👍, all damage leaf have been removed, i also prune some unrelevant lower and inner grow

Eternity Grow Cup - Week 11 VEG Report This is a pivotal week in our Eternity Grow Cup journey as we wrap up VEG and prepare to transition into FLOWER. Our goal has been to ensure that the plants are thriving and optimized for the next phase. This report will detail everything that took place during this crucial week. Mass Defoliation & Structural Training We began the week with an extensive defoliation session. Every leaf with a stem was removed to clear space for optimal light penetration and airflow. This process was done mostly by hand, clicking them off in the opposite direction of growth, while some stubborn ones were snipped with scissors. By the end, it felt like we had taken out nearly half a kilo of leaves! The room now looks clean, structured, and ready to fill out the ScroggNet. To further enhance the plant structure, branches were attached to the pots, allowing for better horizontal growth. This technique helps maximize canopy exposure and prepares the plants for even light distribution once flowering begins. Defoliation before flowering is a key step as it reduces overcrowding, improves airflow, and sets the plants up for efficient energy use in the next phase. Light Schedule & Adjustments This week, we introduced a subtle but effective light adjustment. While still maintaining an 18-hour light cycle, we initiated a 15-minute delay with the whites, allowing the reds to start first. This gradual shift signals the plants that a change is coming. Similarly, at the end of the light cycle, the whites turn off 15 minutes earlier, leaving the reds on for an extended period. This strategy mimics natural sunrise and sunset, helping the plants transition more smoothly into flowering. Additionally, at the end of the week, we will be implementing 48 hours of darkness before the official flip to flower. This method has worked exceptionally well in past grows, helping plants recognize the transition and encouraging a strong start to flowering. However, it's important to emphasize that this is a personal technique and not a universal rule. Every grower should experiment with different methods to find what works best for their specific environment. Environmental Conditions & Challenges Currently, our temperature is at 27°C with 60% humidity, resulting in a VPD of 1.50. While slightly higher than the ideal for VEG, our CO2 levels are over 1000 ppm, and the light intensity is at 570 PPFD, making it a manageable balance. The solution pH is 5.79 (essentially 5.8), EC is 1.38, and water temperature is 17.7°C. One challenge we are facing is maintaining optimal reservoir temperatures. Currently, it's a bit low at 17.7°C, and we are exploring solutions to raise it slightly. However, the medium temperature sits at 22.2°C, which is a good range. The humidifier is still in use, though it struggles to increase humidity further, so we are working with what we have to keep the VPD in check. ICL-300s Integration The ICL-300 lights are now fully active. Unlike the last grow, where we introduced them later, this time they are on from the start of flowering prep. This adjustment is an experiment to see if the plants respond better to an early introduction. Learning is at the core of this journey, and each grow offers new insights. Whether this proves to be the optimal strategy or not, it will be a valuable lesson for future grows. Aug 16: Tropicana Cookies FF is a really fast flowering plant. I’m getting excited for the flowering progress cuz it looks like it is going to be a big one. Very exciting and we’re still only at mid-August so the timing is very good for a strong finish in September without it dragging into October. Aug 18: video shows using the 730 nm far red light at dusk. To maintain a natural schedule I use Civil Twilight as listed on timeanddate.com. This is getting 2-3 minutes earlier each night. Just a couple seconds is all it takes to put plant into dark mode 2 hours faster making it like a 26 h day. Great trick if you have daily access.

Wow... She's really entered flowering this week! I've had to bend over her main cola so is could receive light as opposed to growing above it 😂 😕 Also she's been stretching like crazy. I have backbuilt quite a few bud sites. We will see in the coming weeks how effective this has been.

2/13: The LST is really starting to help fill in the spaces on Trainwreck, which is starting to really look bushy. Amnesia 3's LST is much easier and is giving me a more space between leaves to get access to the stems. They've started to smell fragrant over the weekend. The tomatoes that share the tent handled my quarter-strength nutrient mix very well, so I feel safe using it on these plants as well. I've turned up Amnesia 3's light to 75% to see if I can get the plant to fill out more, similar to the bushiness of Trainwreck. 2/15: Trainwreck's leaves are pointing down a bit, so I'm watering until I see some runoff, maybe a gallon or so. With the sheer amount of bushiness, I've been able to defoliate a few big original fan leaves that have been hanging out in the shade at the bottom. I've increased the light to 75% and have raised a couple inches to help promote stretch and light penetration to the lower canopies. LST is going well on both, but better on the more lanky Amnesia 3. Both seem very happy. 2/16: Trainwreck took the watering well. I noticed Amnesias leaves were pointing a bit downwards, the pot was super light, so I went ahead and watered a gallon with light runoff. Noticed some twisted wind burnt leaves on Amnesia, so I'm repositioning the fans for a less direct flow. Going to need to LST Amnesia a bit more tonight, as the main budsite is quite a bit higher than the others. Otherwise, things are looking okay. Thinking of buying some molasses here soon to add to the water. 2/17: Minor defoliation of shaded leaves near the soil. Still tough to defoliate Trainwreck given how bushy she is. Tucking the big fan leaves on her as much as possible to prevent shading any of the budsites. Since they're in flowering phase, I think my next watering will be with a quarter strength of Bloom nutrients. Molasses included if I have it by then. Only $3 at Walmart, I better!
