So we start a week of flush 😁 but only for two plants.The other two i need to cut it before. One of the plant, all of buds were dry af 🤯 i dont know whats happend. The second one has only the one bud on the top dry. Week 4 update - had to list it as a flower week as we flipped em half way through. Exotic wasn’t lying - the spicy bitches hit maturity rather quickly and we now have a guaranteed 2 males and 3 females - perfect ratio score👌👍. Balls started showing in a span of 12-36 hours. One of the females entered flower early so she may be a dud, an auto or just stressed for some unusual reason. We’ll probably either separate er or let it grow with the rest and pitch it. Won’t be using that seed knowing that underlying issue. Similarly, one of the males has also demonstrated some fan leaf mutation - I actually like this kind of variation and it makes things interesting so bonus there👍. The rest of em are doing just fine. So god damned nice to have a run that’s on a quick schedule to finish within 3 months. It’s been a long year for the pollen chuck and we’re really looking forward to the upcoming all fem. Run. For now though - conditions look ripe for a bunch of awesome crosses, any one of which could be pure 🔥. Till next week yall🤟. In the event that does take place we’ve got a single clone of each strain from the previous pollen chuck to sit in the tent with them so they can make babies for the next few months. The whole point of the last year was to start making some foundational genetics for a third generational cross we could call our own. If you’ve been following along than you’ll know that it’s been anything but easy. Our previous pollen picks didn’t pan out at all so we’re back to the drawing board with a new option from ExoticSeeds. This’ll be a 10 plant run with 5 regs and 6 strains for pollination including the strain itself. We’re running in a 2x4 MarsHydro grow tent all powered by a Mars Sp6500. That’s a little more than 600w packed into half the recommended footprint😳. Why? you ask - because we like our buds big and overcompensatory😂. Really, I’m just of the mind that we can pack more light into this space than recommended and get much better results. The math doesn’t lie. At least not as long as I wasn’t high when using the calculator again….. Many thanks to @MarsHydroLED for the opportunity to test run the equipment👊. In addition, we’ve also moved to a new nutrient system - Druid Nutrients out of the Netherlands. They don’t really have a presence on GD yet but you’ll be hearing about them very soon I’m sure. The beauty of this system is that it’s literally a 1 (one) component system for the entirety of the plants grow cycle. It really has changed the game in terms of ease of feeding and maintenance. It’s also very versatile and seems to provide everything needed across multiple different strains in the same ratios. Keep your eyes peeled for these folks. Pretty much a guarantee that they absolutely blow up once more people know about them👍👌😎. Strain Background Spicy Bitch: predominantly sativa, heavy yielder with a daytime kinda trip profile. It’s a cross of Queen Mother and a Pre-2000 AK47. We’ll pull what pollen we can and hope to have a female run out a larger supply of seed for the future. Many thanks to @Exoticseeds for the chance to give these beans a go👍👊. Pollination Strains: Holy Surfer S1 - this is one of the focal points for this cycle. A fellow growmie was kind enough to ship over some S1 genetics I took an interest in. The only ask back was that if I did cross it to send a few his way for testing👍. It’s a compact and squat plant requiring very little maintenance. Typical for the strain really. It’s been chosen as an option to potentially mellow out the high , shorten the stature of the resulting hybrid and inject it with some of that mellow indica effect. Boogie Nights - total shot in the dark. Still haven’t even tried the strain myself yet but it was available at the right time and interesting enough to make a salad with. Big thanks to AMS who’ve been nothing short of an excellent seedbank to collaborate with. Expect similar growth characteristics to that of the Northern Lights. Better resilience however. Blueberry - this particular clone is from extremely strong stock. Spliff seeds broke the mold with this strain. She’s lower maintenance than the NL, more resilient than anything else we’ve got on the menu and the terp. Profile on this girl is out of this world. If we can bring any of these qualities to the cross, then it could be magic👌. White Widow - garrghh, I just can’t get away from this particular plant. Again, still haven’t even tested the buds yet and all I can say is that the growth characteristics are extremely vigorous and desirable. This plant is one of 3 unicorns that I have yet to tame due to a combo of extremely bad luck and circumstance. All told, it’s still the same story: a VERY experimental breeding project designed to shotgun a broad swath of genetics against a reliable and dependable Breeder who’s put out proven fire 🔥🤟😎👍.

3.5 weeks from seed not 4, wanted to provide an update to the other topping and fimming pics you can see them taking off! fed once, not alot but i suggest not feeding with miracle grow its rediculous soil... and i suggest 40% perlite really its arguable but both are great drainers are provide lots of oxygen flow im not pro but this isnt my first time, update: they are exactly 1 month from seed today, check the updates, fed promix rooting hormones on transplant

Flowering day 22 since time change to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) Another great week that is over. They all develop exactly as it should be 💚. Since the last leaf and substrate application against tripse, I finally haven't seen any of the little biters 👍. Watering was done twice this week with 1.3 l each time (see table above for nutrients). The lowest shoots were removed so that the energy is not wasted in the lower part :-) . Otherwise, as always, everything was cleaned and checked. Fresh osmosis water was filled with stale tap water in a 100 L tank for the coming week 👍. 15th of October Sry for the delayed update, but was quite busy with my work lately. Anyway, on the 15th of October, it was the big day of harvesting this beauty. 6 1/2 months ago in April it germinated. And now after 9 weeks of flower finally it’s harvest time. The past 2 weeks the weather was nasty af. But this steadfast soldier was bravly withstanding this ass sucking conditions. Only few buds I had cut out because of mold. The rest has beautiful shiny milky trichomes that makes me happy😊. I think they would have needed 2 more weeks to really thicken up, but the weather is gonna be worst in the next weeks :(. So better chopped now. In the last weeks I was super worried to loose my whole harvest to the every day high humidity. I even wanted to chop it earlier. But got good recommendation from the community to be still patiened. That hint was very rewarding, Thanks guys. I will also make another week for the harvest, don’t worry 😊

This weather has been fucking with this grow way too much, one day it’s super cold & the other it’s like i’m living in the desert & when i get them out of my greenhouse because of the crazy temperatures it would start raining a half our later way too many times :/ i tried my best but this grow won’t be my best one🤷‍♂️🏻

On day 1 week 3 flower I am slowly readjusting blumats after reset from fertilizer clog. The flower clusters are building. The leaves are still somewhat canoeing but it seems better since I dimmed light back to 75%. On day 4 I can tell that the stretch is over now. The girls tops are still too close to the grow lights, but it is too late to top/prune the plants so I may end up with some burnt colas. I am going to take the risk and know at the bare minimum I will have all the lower bud sites that are in the proper light intensity. On day 6 the flowers are definitely getting larger.The girls are starting to put off their blueberry smell nothing strong yet but it is building :). On day 7 the girls are doing well, i look forward to seeing the buds put on weight and smell :)

The demo clips show how the nutrient and air supply are being delivered to the root zone. After the flooding of the root zone to the top of the container, the pump turns "off" and the nutrient solution simply drains back down the supply pipe and out of the pump intake, which in effect, has now has become the outlet :)

I’m actually Super happy they sprouted on the 1st it just makes keeping track of what day your on so much smoother l think, but I think one was having a hard time getting the shell Off so I helped just I tiny bit!
