Good week so far, I laid my net down , always a Nice feeling when the net goes down and I can start focusing on creating my canopy. I will start bending my branches out to fill the net space up and to create room for lower branches to get some light. I defoliated a bit and stripped the lower branches just after I took these pictures , i know there are different schools of thought surrounding defoliating so soon into flowering , but im doing hst and i like to see what I'm doing dealing with and what my branches are producing. I'm happy so far

A lil nite burn shown on both of the ladies but they will be getting no more nutes they are in there final 2 weeks in my opinion and so they should be showing me amber tricombs anytime now.

Lower leaves died and so I needed to defoliate plants grew quite a bit in this stage and preflowering shows they are girls temp dropped outside finally and so dehumidifier is constantly running. With a nice 78 degrees 50 rh

Had a small issue this week where temp dropped a bit, I was on vacation for a few days and a window got left open to the room the tent is in. The room got down to 62f with the lights on. lights off temp wasn't much cooler. I noticed some canoeing on leaves near the center of the room, I am hoping this was just caused by the temperature stress that happened by the sudden drop. I fixed the temp and issue and it should be back to normal. Trichome's look great under microscope. Getting tightly packed and very cloudy, very little amber color at this point. Cheese #1 Has swelled up quite a bit over the last 5 days, The buds on it are noticeably larger than the ones on Cheese #2 I have moved the led light to cast more on cheese #2 in hopes to get the buds on it to catch up to #1 Still dealing with small calcium deficiencies, I will do a light flush this week of 1/2 strength nutrients and Cal at 6.5 Mid Weekupdate: Flushed plants with 1/3rd nutrient dose and full strength cal mag. Adjusted ph. to 6.5 to allow for better uptake of calcium. The calcium issue isnt bad just some small spotting but I am trying to get ahead of it as there is supposed to be 4 weeks left on the strain. The buds have started to tighten and get more dense. Hairs are about 40% red, some are receding into the bud. Smells like citrus.

03/12 - Day 68 Girls are putting out some really nice aromas! I’m assuming this is the last push for this strain, buds are really tight and super hard when squeezed on (B) & (C) All around the trichomes are still pretty clear and no amber yet.

I will leave it for 24 hours The seed coat softens by soaking your seeds in a hydrogen peroxide solution, allowing the seeds to absorb more oxygen. This results in increased germination speed Hopefully all 3 seeds will germinate by tomorrow? Seeds popped today:-)transferred 3 Purple Kush seeds in to small pots 10/09/23 3 Purple Kush seeds, 1 seed in each small pot. Each Pot is Half filled with lite mix compost and Half filled with Vermiculite , watered planting medium before sowing seeds 2cm deep in planting medium. The seed will push through the vermiculite easley with very little effort, in effect increasing higher successful germination rate, the compost will offer the first tap root an immediate lite nutrient supply. Placed 3 pots on top of a Propagation heating mat for correct germination temperature, position in a shaded place, and keep out of direct sunlight. This may seem like a lot of effort? and it is, but it will be highly beneficial by increasing a higher germination rate and higher amount of seeds will germinate from using this method :-) especially if your seeds were expensive. 11/09/23 no sprouts above the vermiculite yet, i will check it again tomorrow. Today 2 Purple Kush Germinate and rise above the vermiculite 3 days after sowing. Purple Kush is going ok, it could be growing faster, unfortunately i can't upload new photos because there is a problem in the GD system, they are doing there best to fix this problem as soon as possible. GMO Cookies where started 16/09/23 filtered water in glass, also add 3/5 drops of hydrogen peroxide, stir water well before adding the seeds, and stir again after adding seeds to water. 3 seeds sprouted, but only 2 survived, it become to hot and one GMO Cookie sprout died. I have now started another strain (Party Monster) 19/09/23 filtered water in glass, also add 3/5 drops of hydrogen peroxide, stir water well before adding the seeds, and stir again after adding seeds to water. I will leave it for 24 hours, 5 seeds of Party Monster have sprouted and are under the same 100W LED grow light. GMO Cookies have all come up above the vermiculite and are now positioned under a 100W LED, there is a small clip on fan blowing and circulating the air. This is my second attempt to grow GMO Cookies from 3 feminised seeds, i messed up on the first 3 seeds, i put them under a 250 Watt LED and it fried them, my folt. Growing from germinating seeds is a very delicate situation, your environment temperature needs good control. 2 Party Monster seedlings are looking good, coming along well under the 100W LED light. 3 GMO Cookies are looking good also under the 100W LED light. The seed coat softens by soaking your seeds in a hydrogen peroxide solution, allowing the seeds to absorb more oxygen. This results in increased germination speed! 1 Super Lemon Haze fem seed planted in a 2 ltr pot 28/10, this is the only plant i will keep for flowering. The Pot is Half filled with lite mix compost, and the rest of the pot is half filled to the top with Vermiculite , watered planting medium thoroughly soaking it before sowing seeds 2cm deep in vermiculite. The seed will push through the vermiculite easley with very little effort, in effect encouraging a higher successful germination rate, the compost will offer the first tap root an immediate lite nutrient supply. And i planted the 11 remaining popped SLH seeds in the brown round pot, this is just to see how many will rise above the vermiculite from the 13 SLH fems seeds soaked on 27/10. I will give these away to a friend. Both pots have been placed on a propagating heating mat for consistent and ideal germination temperature until all seeds have risen above the vermiculite. Once my 1 fem seed has germinated! i will cover the pot with a transparen plastic bag and place the pot 20cm below a 100W LED light. Super Lemon Haze feminised seeds Seeds sourced from Satdica Bulk Seeds Soaked seeds 27/10 planted up on 28/10, 12 out of 13 seeds have transformed in to 12 healthy little seedlings. 11 seedlings will be given away to a friend, and i will keep the one seedling you see already planted up in a black 2 ltr size pot. This resulted in increased germination speed! and today i can see little white taproot tails protruding out from the seed husk 👌 3 Gelato Cookies seeds, 1 seed in each small pot. Each Pot is Half filled with lite mix compost and Half filled with Vermiculite , watered planting medium before sowing seeds 2cm deep in planting medium. Spoon your seeds into it's planting medium, do not touch with fingers, spoon it in with half spoon of water and a seed, place the seed in the center 2cm deep in the planting medium, water it in again very lightly to help the seed settle into a comfortable position before leaving it to rest covered on your heating mat. The seed will push through the vermiculite easley with very little effort, in effect increasing higher successful germination rate, the compost will offer the first tap root an immediate lite nutrient supply. Watered and fed them in with Plagron Terra Grow 5ml to a ltr of water, i may have added too much, perhaps 2/3ml to a ltr of water would have been enough? placed 3 pots on top of a Propagation heating mat for correct germination temperature, position in a shaded place, and keep out of direct sunlight. I am waiting to start some more seeds I already have them but another tent is needed and a couple of leds, good ones. It will take a few weeks to sort and as usual I have some inspections on the house I need to try and time carefully around 🤔 I did have 2 during this grow the first was in veg luckily they grew in a closet the second was week 3 flower (don't ask) The smell didn't stink out the room like the wedding cake did so I will try and cure this as long as possible to last this as close to next harvest as possible 😅 my cats didn't eat my plants this time so thats another bonus. Need to look into getting a proper air circulation for the new tent I used a fan the whole time my tent was wide open I want to have it sealed next time so I can fully zip it closed ffs lol defo would recommend this strain but I don't think they stock these anymore 😕 I got a coupe seeds from the first plant I was right the pic of the top bud a few weeks ago you can see the seed just about forming after the branch got broken off we will live and learn 😉

I attached the screens to the pots. Did some defoliation and LST to the plants to make it fit. Set the light to 40% strength with a distance of 60 cm. I didnt think about the poles of the tent, so its not fitting perfectly, but i will fix that tomorrow! 13-3 Temps: 17.6 to 21.2 degrees Humidity: 56% to 64% Watering: Both 1000 ml. The screens fit perfectly now, i am very happy with the end result!! 14-3 Temps: 17.2 to 21.1 degrees Humidity: 58% to 69% Watering #1: 330 ml. (Only Calcium added) 15-3 Temps: 17.2 to 21.5 degrees Humidity: 60% to 71% Watering: Both 1000 ml. I started germination of 3 Gorilla Girl beans on 29/12/2020. I pre moistened my rockwool cubes with ph balanced water to 6.4. Made sure the plugs were just damp and not soaked. Using a small wooden dowel I increased the size of the plugs pre made holes. Than I sowed my beans into the holes. Ripped off a small piece of rockwool and mulched it up. Lightly filled the holes in with the mulched rockwool. Than stuck the plugs into a misted humidity dome, to complete germination. Shouldn't take anymore than 4-5 days to see some sprouts. Once I see some cotlydon leaves bursting to the surface. I will get the plugs planted into some 1 gallon pots. Plus get these ladies situated into their home. Cant wait! Some background information on my experience with Gorilla Girl. I've only grown this variety out once. Did her in a 1 gallon SOG grow and she was a beast! Fat Chunky main cola just loaded to the tits in trichomes. Amazing bud structre and a definite cut above alot of the genetics flooding the market. I cant wait to let this variety loose in a larger scale grow. See what these powerhouse genetics really have to offer. Haven't grown out much sweet seeds stuff. But what I did test drive got there genetics into a larger setup. So caps off to them.
