Hello Growmies, The final chapter of this incredible journey has unfolded, and it's time to share the bountiful harvest and reflections on the entire cultivation process. Trimming the plant was a joy, and with gentle fingers, I removed all the large fan leaves. The precision in this process revealed the true beauty of the buds, setting the stage for a smooth harvest. With care and gratitude, the plant was chopped, and the buds were hung to dry. The anticipation for what lies ahead only adds to the sense of accomplishment. The wet weight, excluding fan leaves, stands at an impressive 782 grams. The buds are massive, a testament to the efficacy of the nutrients used, particularly the Power Buds. The name seems apt, as the result is a collection of sticky, dense buds with subtle lemon notes and sweet pungent undertones. In the final moments, the plant unveiled some delightful purple hues. While I wish I could have allowed them to intensify further, it's a reminder that each grow is a learning experience. In hindsight, a slightly longer fading period would have accentuated those beautiful colors. We live and learn, and that's the essence of this journey. Well ambers have been popping up and I've started the flush about 5 days ago, planning to chop day 72/73. I need to make room for my other 2 girls who need higher humidity etc so I might be chopping a week earlier than I would like but I'm happy how far she has come. One thing I noticed with my USB microscope - use your PC instead of your phone, I could see considerably more amber on my PC monitor then I did on my iPhone but I need a longer Micro-USB cord so these trich pics are from my iPhone.

This is just for the gorilla zkittlez so far I will probably try to put all 5 on here but started 2 about 45 days apart from each other and the 5th seed about 3 weeks after the 2nd round. The 5th seed died from transplant shock (won’t be transplanting autos anymore) but the 2nd round of 2 plants just started flowering. I got 85 grams from the zkittlez and 60 grams from the afghan kush after drying. Not great but I’m happy it’s smokeable and smells/ tastes good. starting 2 bloody skunk today (5/11) because the gorilla cookies never germinated unfortunately :( . all out of seeds now so i will be maknig an order this week. still have 2 more strains to figure out when flowering kicks in more tho so that will be my fun for the next 1-2 months lol

Day 18: The canopy is developping nice and evenly. I wonder how much mire they will stretch. I think that ill do some defoliation at the beginning of week 4 Day 20: Today I did a big defoliation right before the third flowering week ends. It was a tough job reaching all the leaves in the back because I cant move the plants.😅 But we made it! Now the light can reach much further down the plants for better/bigger buds and better aeration.

Week 9 - First Week of Flowering 🌸 The dark period has ended, and these ladies came back into the light fully energized and ready for action! It’s just the first week of flower, and they’re all praying, stretching, and absolutely thriving—filling up every inch of the tent. This grow space is officially packed from wall to wall, with each plant competing for its share of light and showing off some of the biggest, healthiest leaves I’ve seen yet! 🌱 A few strategic plucks here and there have kept airflow smooth and light penetration balanced. Those big leaves? They’re a sign of happy, healthy growth. Large leaves help the plant capture maximum light energy, essential during this stage, especially as they start focusing on developing those flowers. When plants grow huge, vibrant leaves like these, it means they’re well-nourished and content in their environment—a true testament to the well-balanced conditions we’ve got going in the tent! Flowering Parameters 🌡️ Room Environment: • Temperature: 26.7°C • Humidity: 63.3% • CO2: 960 ppm • VPD: 1.29 kPa (prime zone for flowering health!) Lighting: • Light Intensity: 835 PPFD (ideal for boosting flower growth) • Solution: pH 5.96, TDS 460 ppm, temp 21.1°C • Medium: Moisture: 100%, TDS: 520 ppm, Temp: 21.6°C Carbon Filter Installation & Smell Management 🌬️🌱 With the transition to flower, the scent profile is already starting to kick in—crazy for the first week, right? 🌸 To keep everything fresh and under wraps, I’ve set up a carbon filter system. Here’s how it’s working: I’ve connected the filter to my Aerofan, which pulls air directly from the tent. This air is cleaned by the filter and released into the main room, where it then passes through another filter before exiting my space. This dual-filter setup means no scent escapes into the wild, keeping things stealthy and the grow room a peaceful, scent-contained environment. Perfect for anyone concerned about keeping their home free from that telltale aroma! 🕶️🌬️ Enhanced Lighting with Emerson Effect 🌞 This week, I’ve introduced an extra 15 minutes of red light at the beginning and end of each light cycle. By stimulating a little extra wake-up and wind-down light, we’re mimicking the natural sunrise and sunset experience for these plants, which can help reduce flowering time. Not only does it encourage smoother transitions into day and night, but in theory, it’ll help these ladies finish a bit faster, while giving them a little nudge to build more substantial, quality flowers. 🌇 Nutrient Adjustments 🌱 Now that we’re in flower, I’ve swapped out the Start Booster for P-Boost and TopBooster to specifically support flowering needs. Here’s why: • P-Boost brings in additional phosphorus, vital for energy transfer and cell division as the plant channels more resources into budding sites. • TopBooster supports the flowering phase by improving flower quality and density, helping to build those big, aromatic buds we’re after. 30/10/22 - Week 2 Begins 31/10/22 - Increased light height by 2 Inches to increase light output upto 75% - slight yellowing on the leaves will monitor this week - will pot up into final pots by end of the week 03/11/22 - Transplanted 2 of the 4 final seedlings into their final pots. - Lower left plant had far smaller roots compared to the top right so may well pick other seedlings 05/11/22 - All plants transplanted - lower left plant removed, weak roots and no longer growing at same speed as others, sent to the gulag. - 3 x 3 inch plants and 1 x 4 inch - went from 250ml feed each to 750ml each plant - humidity 65% heat 21C

The plants have already been topped. Today, on 25-05-2024, two large leaves were removed, covering the sprouts. The LST was done at the same time.

Overall a good time spent... Loved sitting and paying weekly attention to the environment its quite therapeutic.. Even if its a case of sitting and staring for 20 minutes... (effects and taste will be updated once completed drying)

Day 99 - Ripening week in DWC a. pumped out the Flowering blend, and installed the Ripen b. this plant is certainly a small bush like FastBuds claimed c. I can see how this would be perfect for SOG d. Her pistils are all almost colored, and the trichomes are milky Day 100 a. I always love using Ripen, it works so well b. first day, already notice the top of the buds filling out more c. her life is coming to an end. she will get this week to ripen, then next week we will flush/chop d. growing in DWC makes the ripening and flushing mush faster than other substrates Day 101 - the purple is setting in a. looks like they are ripening up fast, the purple is getting darker and the buds harder Day 102 - ripening really nice, the smell is quite intense a. she is smelling up our barn, we dont have a filter b. Ripen always makes the buds very hard, she is drinking a L a day right now in the end. Day 104 - incredible smell a. this is finally smelling pungent like kush, well kushy haze b. sampled a small top bud, its killer c. Will be cutting down in a few days Day 105 - ripe a. the buds are ripe, I will gradually start the flush before harvest b. will give them 1 or 2 more days of ripen formula, then flush with Florakleen for a day

It has a very nice stretch and is developing really well :-). Yesterday I got her GHSC Powder Feeding Bio Bloom for the first time given (2 g GHSC to 1 l coco). In 14 - 20 days she will get another 1 g per l coco. It was poured twice this week with 1.2 l each. Otherwise the tent was cleaned and everything was refilled. Done. Harvested ALL on Day 72 - one LCC was very heavy on amber trichomes, one BPP and one LCC were what i consider optimum, and one BPP was VERY milky, like peak potency. very few amber. Interested to try them all! Total Drying time was 7 Days for both LCCs and 8 Days for both BPPs. I decided to do my first proper dry trim. For two plants i hit the spot and could just shave off the remaining leaves. For the other two it was much more of a hassle. They already smell way better than my previous runs where i dry trimmed. Also the colors are awesome for both plants that purpled. Smoke review will have to wait some time. Right now, all of them are curing.
