Happy grow... 😎

For this grow I kept my setup a lot simpler than last year. Going with Jack 47 because, well, reviews are awesome and we've had success with Sweet Seeds germinating well. From the pics and videos you can see I've got a simple bucket for the plant with no air stone, pump, or other shit in the plant bucket. All that is in the reservoir. Should make it easier to clean, flush, etc. I'll be able to just pop the lid off (with plant in the net) and put it on a clean bucket with pH balanced water while I clean the rest of the system, then hook it right back up. I also over-designed so I could add a second grow bucket if I want. Don't have space for that at the moment but non-loadbearing walls are easy to move, right? Using General Hydroponics for nutrients and Hydroguard for good measure. Knock wood I'm not jinxing things by posting before I have seedlings.

🌱 Nectar Drip — Week 12 (Week 6 Flower | 12/12 From Seed) We’re now at Week 11/12 from seed, which in this run we define as Week 6 of flower under a true 12/12-from-seed cycle. For anyone just joining — this entire run skipped the traditional vegetative phase. From day one, these plants were placed under 12/12 lighting, creating a growth pattern that behaves closer to autoflowers: fast decisions, no recovery windows, and every day counts. And that’s exactly how we got here. ⸻ ⚙️ Current State — Cruise Control, Maximum Awareness At this stage, the environment is locked and stable: * Light intensity, CO₂, EC, substrate, watering rhythm — all consistent * Hand watering continues daily, allowing direct plant-to-grower feedback * No major adjustments — only observation, correction if needed, and respect for the process This is the silent phase. Nothing dramatic… but everything important is happening. We’re watching closely for: * Any signs of mold or mildew * Micro-deficiencies or excess * Structural stress from weight and density The room is healthy, responsive, and pushing hard. ⸻ ❄️ Week 6 Flower — What’s Actually Happening This is where things accelerate. At Week 6 flower, the plant shifts its energy almost entirely into: * Bud mass expansion * Calyx swelling * Resin (trichome) production And it shows clearly: * Flowers getting denser by the day * Tighter internode stacking * Heavy frost levels across tops and secondary sites This phase is peak reproductive momentum. In a 12/12-from-seed run, it feels faster because: * No extended veg buffer * Continuous clock since day one * Any early efficiency compounds now Right now — they’re efficient. ⸻ 💡 Top-to-Bottom Development — The Under Canopy Effect One of the key observations this run: 👉 Plants are finishing more evenly from top to bottom The under-canopy lighting is driving that by: * Feeding lower bud sites * Reducing top-heavy maturity * Keeping secondary flowers in pace with main colas Result: * More uniform ripening * Better canopy utilization * Less larf, more usable flower ⸻ 🌿 Training vs Natural Growth — Lesson Reinforced Clear takeaway this week: The trained plant is: * Smaller * Slower * Noticeably behind 👉 12/12 from seed does not forgive recovery time Every training event: * Pauses momentum * Redirects energy into repair instead of growth In a cycle this fast, that cost shows up directly in: * Size * Structure * Final yield Conclusion: Less interference, more flow. ⸻ 📸 Frost, Resin & Macro World This is where the visuals take over: * Trichome production fully active * Sugar leaves coated * Buds developing a textured, almost sculpted surface Macro and focus stacking work has started. This is the phase where the plant stops looking like a plant — and starts looking like a landscape. ⸻ 🔮 What to Expect Next (Week 7 Flower) The shift ahead is subtle but critical: * Continued calyx swelling * Pistils darkening and receding * Resin heads moving toward maturity * Aromas intensifying This marks the start of the ripening phase. No rushing. No overcorrection. Maintain. Observe. Let it finish. ⸻ 🤝 Gratitude — Energy Exchange Respect to: * GrowDiaries * The community — OGs, new eyes, supporters, skeptics, critics * The genetics * The gear * Everyone crossing paths with this run Energy moved — this is the outcome. ⸻ 👨‍🚀 Mr. Baggy — On Duty Mr. Baggy is: * On-site * Behind the lens * Watching everything closely And doing a solid job at it. 📡 DELETED @ 1K Please stay tuned.we never quit https://www.youtube.com/@TheDogDoctorOfficial NEW 🙏 Thank you for your patience and continued support. With true love comes happiness. Always believe in yourself, and always do things expecting nothing and with an open heart. Be a giver, and the universe will give back in ways you could never imagine. 💚 Growers love to all 💚 📸 P.S. – The Eye Behind the Lens All photos in this diary (for now — except for the ones showing the camera, which I took with an iPhone) are taken with a Sony A6700 paired with a Sony full-frame macro lens and a few more. Photography is part of the story — it’s how we share the fine textures, the glow, and the quiet details that words can’t always capture. I’ve also started experimenting with photo stacking — a technique where multiple images, each taken at a slightly different focus point, are layered together to create one perfectly sharp image from front to back. It’s not digital enhancement or AI; it’s pure photography — a way to reveal the plant’s beauty in microscopic depth, from trichome to petal. You’ll even see a few shots of "ghost me" capturing the shots — camera, lens, setup — because every grow deserves not just to be cultivated, but documented like art. 6’-4” & 5’-8” as of today, 6’-0” average height. These ladies are beautiful! Everyone who comes by the house just stops and stares when they get near my garden. So do I 👍🤣 I had to move some plants outdoors from my indoor grow due to losing the battle to high heat and humidity. Two are super close to harvest, one might get cut over the weekend. Feel free to comment and let me know what you would do. Thanks!

I had a little trouble this week Plants 1 and 2 are still droopy and the fungus gnats seem to be getting worse. I wasn't sure if it was overwatering or not enough nutrients. So I let them dry out for 4 days and noticed it got worse. So it probably was not overwatering. On day 56 I top dressed Plants 1 and 2 with some left over Nature's Living Soil. I used 2 tablespoons each and added 4 cups of Root's Organic soil also since the pots have settled a little. Then I gave all the plants a good watering. Hopefully after a few days they will perk back up. On day 55 I added sticky cards to each pot to keep an eye on how many fungus gnats I have. There was quite a few after just one day but I noticed less in the tent. I read some posts on Nature's Living Soil and another on air-pots. It seems like others have had nutrition problems with Nature's Living Soil if they went longer than a month of vegging, which would explain my issue. The other post about air-pots said fungus gnats love them since they can attack the soil from all sides instead of just the top layer. Apparently if you let the top layer of soil dry out well in normal pots the fungus gnat problem mostly goes away. But when using air-pots the top layer of soil might dry out but they can still get to the moist soil from the bottom or sides.

Divine indica has grown really well. Her trichromes were just first starting to get cloudy yesterday. About a half and half of clear and cloudy. I figure she has abour 10 to 12 days left. I will be switching her to ph water in a few days during ripening. She has a good aroma and is looking excellent. She has been loosing a few leaves on the bottom due to a slight nitrogen deficiency. Which is okay during flowering. Nitrogen can hinder bud development. So low does in flowering is ideal. Thank you Divine Seeds, and Spider Farmer. 🤜🏻🤛🏻🌱❄️ Thank you grow diaries community for the 👇likes👇, follows, comments, and subscriptions on my YouTube channel👇. ❄️🌱🍻 Happy Growing 🌱🌱🌱 https://youtube.com/channel/UCAhN7yRzWLpcaRHhMIQ7X4g

Vegetation Week 14: Royal Growth & Pre-Flower Whispers Update: 17.06.2025| Day 102 Hey Growmies, Week 14 is pure satisfaction. The ladies radiate health, pests are history, and every sunrise brings visible progress. Here’s the serene update: Growth Report - Explosive daily growth: New shoots cascade like a "royal dress" – layered, lush, and dense. - Uniform deep green foliage – zero deficiencies, zero stress signs. - First calyxes spotted at nodes! Pre-flower transition seems imminent (expect that legendary sativa stretch from Durban soon). Pest & Recovery Update - Aphids/ants: Fully eradicated. No sightings all week. - Foliage untouched – pristine leaves from crown to soil line. Care Routine - Bokashi juice (1:100) twice weekly – plants absorb it effortlessly. - Deep watering only when soil dries 5cm down (encouraging root depth). - Mulch renewed – retains moisture through 28°C days. Environmental Notes - Weather: Stable 28-30°C days / 14-16°C nights. Light: 16+ hours daily – still solidly in veg territory. Next Steps - Monitor calyx development daily – pre-flower stretch could begin any day. - Keep airflow maximized through the dense canopy. Week 14 Takeaway Perfection in patience. After early battles, the garden now runs itself. These Dutch Passion phenos are sculpting themselves into regal, resilient queens. As always take care of your girls and thanks for checking in. 6/11 day 55 day 56. Officially 2 months of growth. Somehow I've kept an auto flower in the vegetative stage for quite a bit of time. They are flowering and have stretched a ton. I will get actual measurements for each plant this Pheno #1 looks more indica (they all are) than the others. The pistils are shorter but more of them and the node spacing is a tighter than the others and she's stayed the shortest(least amount of stretch) and has thicker leaves(maple leaf style) her pistils started white and now have a pink tone to them and on closer inspection, some of the sugar leaves are purpling. This one could be expressing it more so because of environment. This week we've had lows and rains and cloudy weather. The other night it was in the low 40s, so in hindsight it might be environmentally expressed. Pheno #2 is the one that's been the most well rounded the whole time. Popped quick and has always been steady and not too tall and not too short. Her pistils are bright white like roots or an initial taproot. But the calyx are a deep deep purple. I believe this purple expression to be a genetic phenotypical expression rather than environment. The purple clashes with the white so beautifully. They just makes it all pop with the green. It honestly looks like a purple clover flower 😄

I was selected to test some of Fastbuds new genetics. Seeds germinated in 48hrs and 6 days later it broke ground and hasent slowed down. This grow is in my 4x4ft grow space located in an uninsulated shed. Each plant has a dedicated 150-200w LED from Viparspectra or Mars. Winter Temps in my area spike to -15C or more in Jan and Feb, so this will be an interesting and challenging grow. The grow room is 20-30C above ambient temperature, so there is a little manual and auto manipulation of grow Temps. See my video Lights 50-75%, 30 inches, 75-120w per plant Soil temp: 21-25C Light cycle: 5:1 Air temp: 18-27C
