Day 22 and 23: Going easy breezy so far!! I released some ladybugs in my tents on these Chocolate Mint OG's 21st day. So far so good lol. Last night when I watered I gave a little real growers recharge to help with the recent transplant (it definitely gave them a boost!) Its mid summer here in MI and 84+ temps 😬 keeping the house and tents cool has been a challenge to say the least. Thankfully all my plants are in Veg and seem to like the heat. Except the Choc Mint.they are showing mild heat stress on the top fan leaves(at least that's my guess) Tent temps have been around 86 down to 84 daytime. I lowered them so they are 24" from the lights 🤞 hopefully that helps. Other than that, no problems. And some generally happy plants! The recharge and soil combo burned them a very little bit as well. Day 25&26 Nothing too eventful. I watered #2 on day 25. With some real growers recharge. The stuff is awesome! No nutrients needed if you have good soil! Day 26: snip 2 fan leaves from #2(the topped one) she was getting a little bushy. And tucked the other fans under to promote some lower branch growth. #1 I'm letting roll totally natural unless I clean up lower canopy to prevent pests. Day 27: Plants are doing great! #1 is really getting tall and # 2 is staying short and squat because of the training. We are letting #1 go naturally. Had some family time last week and unfortunately caught covid with all the symptoms. I've been bed bound since Monday and today I'm starting to feel slighty better. Not asking for sympathy 🤣 but this explains why some of my girls have switched on me... Looks like all 3 Frosted Biscotti have gone into reveg. Obviously have a light leak but think I've sorted it now. The mystery is just well under feed as I've run out of Bloom and big Buds and its also gone into reveg. The other coco ones haven't gone into reveg and almost look done. Biscotti Mintz and Bahama Bussdown look 🔥 well impressed. The mutant Biscotti Mintz (soil) has come along nicely and looks amazing. I don't get why that hasn't revegged as its surrounded buy the others that have. The 2 at the back, (Bahama Bussdown) ones taken a slight knock and revegged and the other one has just got to heavy and collapsed. Again looks near enough done so now need to think of a plan of action for curing as tent will be occupied for at least another month. So I think that's it with the problems 🤣 .. Apologies again for not getting back to anyones dairys over the last 2weeks. I'm going to spend the weekend catching up with you all and sorting out the tent as long as I'm covid clear. My partner has been doing so much for my son and I I couldn't ask her to maintain the tent aswell. Hey now, I hope everyone is having a great weekend! These two ladies had a great week, I ended up switching from the 100 Watt LED light to a 400 Watt Super HPS bulb on day 22. I really love these HPS bulbs for Veg especially when building mainlines because they do an excellent job of building thick stems that will be able to support massive colas, they do put out a ton of heat so they are better suited for cooler temps outside the tent.....The nodes typically grow about a half inch apart with this setup so if you are looking for a tall and leggy plant with minimal bud sites avoid these lights. I also topped these ladies on day 24 and they responded instantaneously with vigorous growth as I allowed the roots to fully develop as the plants were pushing thier 7th node at topping.... I also cleaned the reservoir this week with a mixture of bleach and water as well as cleaning the airstones and feeding pump, I do this once per week to avoid mold/funk/etc, I also add some food grade hydrogen peroxide to my reservoir to slow the process I began LST training on day 27, I just start by tying the two mains to the fan leaves immediately below them, then I will attach them to the sides of the container later this week, along with pinching/crushing the stems with my fingers. I also prepped 4 bricks of coco coir this week for the transplant which will take place in a couple weeks, As I was looking at the 12.5 gallon container, I realized it is going to take quite a bit of coco to fill that out. I will be giving the other plant away to a friend, and will see what I can do with these genetics in a 12.5 gallon container. I hope everyone stays safe and has a great weekend, Blaze On!!!

the smell is just ridiculous. I'm pretty proud of that. the buds are bulking nice, they are very dense and I am happy with the amount of bud I'm looking at. I go in a couple times a day to manually move the branches around to make sure there is air going everywhere a little, I pinch a few leaves here and there. Pretty much on auto pilot now, going to start watering twice a day now one nutrient and one straight water. Thanks for lookin! Also. my week count is wrong, my weeks are based on 8 nutrient mixes i use, i call them weeks 1-8, i start flushing my week 9, but for reference, this grow, week 6 ends on day 45, I'm more worried on the plant then the calendar. I have a 70 day general target from Garden of Green, I watch and change my "weeks" according to plant. I won't lie this grow looks and smells great to me, the smell is ridiculous how strong it is! and I am worried I will find excuses to cut earlier, lol, but i will fight that

The time has come! Flowering has been initiated and is off to a good start, The Photoperiod is now running at 11/13 on/off and the intensity of the light has been bumped up to 60% giving me a DLI of aorund 37.5 at 30" hang height in my 2x4. As the plants where topped a bunch I have found in previous grows the stretch will not be as crazy as if I left them on their own, however the increased pot size may negate that effect, only time will tell :D I also gave them a 2nd watering as the last one was leaving the pots a bit to light. This could be their new normal 1gal one week, 2 gal the next separated by a few days. They have all been amended with a 50/50 mix of grow and bloom from Gaia, Also added in some extra Insect Frass, Yeast and Bokashi grains, mixed this all with worm castings and compost for the top dress. added the compost after mixing it into the top layer so it gives it a bit of a blanket. made a little video of it and me watering the plants on a speed run. One thing I need to find is a sprayer head that has a 70-90 degree bend on it. I'm tired of watering from overhead as my wand is straight and does not have a bend. Its made of hard plastic and was thinking I would toss the tip in the oven to soften it up and place a coat hanger though it, then bend it ever so slightly and wait for it to cool, can snip off the wire and pull it out once its all done and have a bent tip. or I can get a 2nd wand attachment for it. Just been so busy have not had time to search for it, the peppers are doing much better as well, after the defoliation from last week they where getting a bit more light but that is all gone now, the plants have taken it back. and they are in shade, the plants seem to like it more. only the one strain likes the intense light of the led's, Fatalii peppers, It might be the hottest ones I'm growing if the goronong don't measure up. The JigSaw peppers are also starting to show some of their variegation in the leaves that make them pretty to grow now they are in the shade more. and its bound to be better then pure purple leaves from the LED"s Butterwort is eating all the gnats as well. so no problem there. Will apply the nematodes later next week to kill em off in the medium. Don't want them getting trapped in the flowers. stupid little fuckers. I left out some of the extras in the water this week as it was its first topdressing, didn't want to stress it out to much, I will be topdressing every week and diving the total ammount of amendments in 4 parts. vs one big feeding at beginning of the month like its been suggested on the label, I find this helps avoid the N burn I normally see and gives them a bit better of a breakdown for flowering period. It worked really well with my G13 Labs Blue Cindy grow so I am repeating the process and will likely make this my new standard. I will also be adding in some Mg into every other water till stretch is done same with a very light feeding of molasses, I know it has been negative in past grows but going to try it out again with much smaller amounts. 1tea/pot, the extra sugars should work wonders on the Bokashi added into the soil and allow it to thrive. Plants are starting to get more of a funk to them as well, So i feel that's what was happening with the gifted plant to my parents smelling up the place, it was just entering flowering as it was not in a tent n the lighting must have been to low. And the little cuttings I did last week are fine, no roots but will soon have a bunch of little clones to go. Just in time for spring. I think that's it. Snapped the main branch a little but its been healing ok. Besides that shes been getting bigger filling out her new pot. Also took the smaller lowest branch for my first clone attempt. Probably gonna experiment with a couple more cuttings maybe even an auto clone for laughs. Been raising the light an inch at a time as i noticed signs of light stress. All in all good week happy growing friends

A good week for sherberts. I'm doing a comparison to see how the growth is effected by growing them both in a different way. They are both beautiful and seem to love the environment for now. Not overly hungry but I did pot them on with ecothrive charge which has all sorts of goodies in so I guess the soil is good. Food wise they took some fish mix which was mixed to an EC of 1.3 PH 6.2. I was planning to train out for 8 colas but I think I might just flip them now to see what I get. I still have more sherbert beans left to play with in my next grow and I also now have 8 clones from the sherbert too which I'm undecided what to do with. All in all these are easy to grow and ask for not much. The reward so far is 2 very pretty plants. Flush for 2 days then Harvesting weekend .

⚠️ This is my worst week in growLife ⚠️ we started with harwest, cos i'v found a few days ago, first mites.. Actualy was too late, and only one option what can we do is - harwest. Ať the moment we are few days to go, but IF we gonna wait and grow thoose couple days until they reach 100%, mites gonna be everywhere... OHH YES, TGEY ARE KNOW AS Well, we already threw away 2 plants, cos two of them were totaly full with milion of eggs, everywhere, leafs, buds etc, that way we need to chop all of them a save Max as possible. This "grow school" - lesson, is pretty hard, hurts and of course -€ as well. Plants do need us every Day and, i need to read more again, i have to watchout them múch better. AT the moment we still choping, and yesterday we Just moved all of Tangie's in Tent 2,2mx1,1m, cos they need i think 2 weeks more. We gonna test and watchout strictly this tent... Thoose fuckin mites are everywhere, i found them in small tent as well, where we have automatics... This is really 😬 Guys, i wish You all, that this my own mistake are enough for you to learn from... 🙋‍♂️ Ohh yeah next tíme we gonna vegetative phase 4 weeks, this one was only 2 weeks.. ⚠️

Yellow boards against flies have been put up and blue tags to prevent trips. Unfortunately I still struggle with them but they have become significantly less pushed.
