Hello GD Crew!!! I’m glad to finally be back with a new diary. A LOT has happened since my last diary. The large room I was using back then got infested with spider mites. For a while I thought I had them beat, but they came back with a vengeance. So I thoroughly cleaned my 2x4 tent and set it up in the opposite side of the house. However, that part of the house is also now my new man cave and was under construction until a few months ago (its still not completely done yet, but close enough). I have also switched back to LED lighting. I’m using a pair of Spider Farmer SF1000’s (100w) LED’s. I was using a 315w CMH fixture but felt I was getting better results with my old blurple ViparSpectra’s (both of which have died). Also, it was getting too hot in the tent with the CMH. To be completely honest the best weed I’ve ever grown was using a 1000w HPS, but that could possible melt a 2x4 tent and I’d be tripping circuit breakers all the time again. After a lot of research it looked like the Spider Farmer SF1000’s were the best bang for the buck in the LED market these days. They have the right components (Samsung LM301B diodes and MeanWell drivers) and have great specs. I was able to purchase them on Amazon Prime Day for $129/each (USD). For soil I’m using Coast of Main Stonington Blend Grower’s Mix. I had been previously trying to amend and reuse old soil or mix old soil 50/50 with new soil and in retrospect that was a mistake. The PH was totally unpredictable as were what nutrients were available or deficient. I felt like I was always trying to fix soil problems and one thing would lead to another. So, from now on its fresh soil in every pot. I’m using 3 gallon pots with self watering reservoirs at the bottom. In addition to the Coast of Main Stonington Blend I’m also using Sungro Black Gold Seedling Mix. I filled the 3 gallon pots with the Coast of Main Stonington Blend first, then dig out a hole in the middle about the size of a grapefruit and filled that hole with the Sungro Black Gold Seedling Mix. Then I planted the seeds about knuckle deep in the middle of the Seedling Mix. This seemed to work great, both pots had small seedlings appear in 5 days. This diary will focus primarily on FastBuds BlackBerry, but I am also growing a DinaFem Critical+ Auto at the same time. I’ve grown both of these strains a few times in the past with mixed results. But, I’m hoping this grow will be far greater than those in the past. My plan is to allow the Coast of Main Stonington Blend act as the ‘super soil’ it is supposed to be and not add any additional nutrients. I will however be adding RealGrowers Recharge on a regular basis (I love that stuff, it really makes a difference) and will probably also add some CalMag once in a while. But that’s all. Additionally, I do not plan on doing much training with these girls. I will LST bend them over at a 45 degree angle around the time they hit their flowering stretch, but that’s all. Bending at a 45 degree angle gives better exposure to lower branches and allows those lower branches to produce larger tops. Hoping for the best!!! Please feel free to comment and follow. I might switch the lights in the next days. Depending on her growth. Day44: Added some water and moved the camera a little further away. Day45: She felt lonely, so I got her a friend... Theobroma Cacao. New seedling that needs the warmth + humidity. Hopefully surviving winter. Day46: I decided to take some zoomed in stills of her. To show off her beauty. The purpling of the branches really make this lady something special. In some of the shots it might look like her leaves are yellowing, but it's just the angle of the light. You can see on the photo that I took from the top, that all leaves are a healthy dark green. At least I now have proof that she's a lady. She's short and stubby, but I'm not really growing for amount. I just neeed 50g, after all (hehe) Day47: She grew like a demon overnight. I'll check the height tomorrow.

Day 21 and I tied down a few branches to spread them out a little. This platonium has a lot bigger node spacing than the other plants. They seem happy with the nutrients so I didnt mess with the reservoir this week. Will probably give them a little calmag before the end of next week. Just going to try to keep up with some training to get as many tops as possible. Debating on building some type of scrog this run but still undecided.

This week I defoliated. Waited three weeks into flowering, to not stress them like I did last grow. She is rewarding me with some fat bud growth at many sites. I overwatered beginning of this week, but hey seemed to have taken it well. I did another amendment. The first one last week was a test, to see how they responded, they took it well. Just compare last week to this one. The amendment I did: - 5 liters of worm castings - 2 cups bonemeal - 1 cup wood ash - 1 cup microlife I layered this on top of my pots, covering this with bio-coco (pre fertilized) to ward of gnats. The gnats have been getting less and less. They don't like the coco that much, while humidity is just the same and last week higher since I did some more watering. I watered with the perma tea. While this is pretty acidic (PH 5), I can amend with more wood-ash, if you don't and follow this recipe, don't do too much wood-ash since it will kill off your micro organisms. I lowered the light diagonally since the outer right plant is longer and closer to it. The SP 3000 is still performing as you can see. Temps were a bit higher with the lights so low, so far the Orange Hill Special doesn't seem to mind. Im totally amazed with the results so far. Alweer het einde van week 3 bereikt zonder problemen. Na de snoei aan het begin van de week, hadden de dames zich de volgende alweer hersteld en waren de topjes alweer fors groter. Ik ben echt tevreden over de genetica van de Powerplants. Ze drinken inmiddels ook veel meer bij de 0,5 liter per dag staan de potten de dag eropgewoon weer droog! De voeding gaat naaar e.c. 1.8 en ik voeg op iedere 10 liter ook 10 ml (Fmax) xl cell bij. Ik ben benieuwd of er mensen ervaring hebben met een hogere dosering? Antwoorden graag in de comments! Ik had nog wat spiegeltjes over en die heb ik maar aan het cob frame bevestigd om het strooilicht terug te kaatsen. Baad het niet, dan schaad het niet zeg maar. Ook de ventilatie een upgrade gegeven met een grote zwenk ventilator aan het plafond. Ik ga denk ik ook maat wat roof wantsen aanschaffen als pestcontrol, voordat ik last krijg van ongenodigde bezoekers!

Here is a video tour of my back yard jungle. I am in the process of a huge clean-up now that the plants are ripening up and the buds are getting heavy. I'll post some photos tomorrow once the work is done. Some of the fan leaves are coming down now to promote light penetration and air circulation... don't want mildew.

12/15: Some plants are taking too long to transition and stretching beyond my space constraints, so I dialed the photoperiod back to 12/12. 12/16: Fed today and rotated edge plants. Added another 150w of 3000k below the canopy. 12/17: Worked on ventilation...no A/C necessary now, as I'm using another AC Infinity 6" fan to intake outdoor air into the closet whenever temps reach 75f..and it's been cold as hell outside.👍 The final trick will be to replace the 6" exhaust fan with an 8" so as to be able to fully exchange the closet air faster ...but that's gonna have to wait til next season.

Started off week 2 of flowering on 11/19. All of the ladies look good with the Tangerine Dream being the only set of clones to start showing bud sights and not just pre-flowering. Did a significant amount of clipping and clipped most of the fan leaves on the main colas of my ladies and side branches too. I also began playing classical music for them! True to it’s genetics my Tangerine Dreams are putting off numerous side branches with side branches coming off those branches! Since flowering my Cotton Candy has grown the most. Before flowering it was just barely half the height of my TDs and now they’re taller! As for the Chronic Thunder it’s always been the tallest but in flowering it’s focus has all been on the side branches without me even topping it.

Hello, fin de la semaine 8, semaine 2 de la floraison. Les plantes semblent donner les 1er signent de leur passage en floraison, il me semble détecter les tout premiers pistils. Elles semblent être en bonne santé. J’ai progressivement diminué un peu l’humidité à 45/50%. Donc rien de spécial pour cette semaine, ça pousse tranquillement...🖖 Prochaine update la semaine prochaine.. Happy grow...😎

First week of veg, after two weeks of seedling growth. Light schedule: 24 hrs Nutrients: Nitrogen (bokashi), small quantities of potassium and phosphorus in marine algae. First transplant into: 2 lt and 1.5 lt pots

Bueno arranca la semana con pocos cambios en la disposición de las cosas, se ve el rostro de la floración… una crece y se desarrolla más que la otro, se ve que la izquierda siempre inspira más… mantendremos la solución a 1.2 EC el PH siempre a 5.9. Por el resto todo va igual, dejaré el filtro de carbón activo para las últimas 4 semanas. Esperemos no haya mucho olor por ahora. Iré actualizando novedades en un par de días.

Jetzt kommt der langweilige Teil des Grows. Wachstum findet quasi nur noch in den Blüten statt. Veränderungen sieht man wirklich nicht unbedingt Täglich. Es gibt ein letztes mal Bio PK 5-8 als Top Dressing 10ml auf 500ml Wasser
