Topped one gorilla at the fourth node, writing this in week seven i wish i had topped the growth that followed for that extra yield....
Have been using an old LED just for veg, its worked in the past, hasn't failed me this grow
Really burnt one of my plants. The northern light, so much that its definitely a gonner.
Have ordered a ph pen to eliminate poor mixing, its time to wake up to ph and feed levels, they matter i have realised 😆
Yes, i am an amateur here guys😃
Gorillas happy, pretty sure they weren't over done
Flowering started, plant stretching, have defoliated to allow light to lower canopy, light smell in the tent, good smell on touch of stems. Very light purple colour in centre of leaf fan/top of fan leaf stem
The topped gorilla is 55cm, untopped 80cm, pulling it sideways for a few days or a week. All is well, watering at 6.3 this week, big bud and cal mag. With the LED long gone now im in flower, im using a 450w CFL red, for flower, with a reflector. Not planning on doing any defoliation for a while now, wishing i hadnt been so harsh a few weeks ago, trimming. Be careful guys.
Have given the plant a slight hst, the 80cm bothered me, im sure it will knuckle up even though i am in flower. Not ideal.
My inkbird was £35 well spent. Maintaining the temperature very well. 26* consistently
Not much to be done, watering this week at 6.0 just to ensure there is no nutrient lockout, feeling a little as though these two have been slow in the past week. Buds progressing but feel like it should be quicker at this point. Fourth week of flower
Week 10 has begun, buds progressing.
LED added to the tent, alongside the 420w CFL Red.
Tested both pots medium for their ph levels this week, both in the 5 range, which I wasnt comfortable with, boosted both pots to higher 6 range, with a ppm of 700 given, run off was 400.
Both drinking quite alot now, purple patches on center of leaves growing down the stems, resin building up around the flowers well.
Good smell coming out of the tent now, untopped gorilla beginning its flush now, aiming to harvest the week before xmas. The topped gorilla is begind in it flowering cycle by the looks of it, by around two weeks, not sure why, so giving it more light that before under x2 CFL's and still giving it nutes.
Very happy with the smell. Wishing the yield was bigger but I have read that Gorilla's are more forn their quality than quantity.
