Man it’s so hot these girls are drinking up so much water!!! Watering everyday. Might be Sweet skunks last nutrient dose, gonna start flush for harvest after today. Plants are starting to fatten up nicely, hopefully we keep this same progress!

Awesome! Went away for 10 days over Christmas and was not sure what to expect when I got back. Obviously re-potting them and letting them dry out has been effective. I've started adding a little Fish Mix to their water. I don't think they need it but I'll go really slow and try it out on my tomatoes to see what effect it has on them. I'm cautious about drowning them in nutrients as I have no experience with this and don't want to slow the grow down any more than I already have.

Day 49) 11/11 first week of flower has gone and still no pistils but I have no reason to think there won't; in due time. All waterings this week were 1/2 tsp of each nutrient per gallon of dechlorinated tap water ph’d between 5.5 - 6.5 and watered once a day and she just thrived on everything I gave her. OH! I almost for forgot my local hydroponic store gave me a sample of a beneficial bacteria conditioner called FishSh!t There are lots of diaries using this Sh!t and you can find them under the nutrient tab and search Fish Head Farms. They have a website with info and dosing and today was first day using so will update if I notice a substantial change. Dosing called for 1 ml per gallon of water mixed in with all other nutrients during bloom phase. I'm not really in bloom phase just yet but going light on the Sh!t till I test the effects. Blue Dream Auto 1 15th Feb Mon - Placed blue dream auto seed into jar of ph balanced water,and then kept in dark airing cupboard for 24hours. 16 Feb Tue - Set up grow tent today. Placed seed into soil and cut a quarter of a plastic bottle top and placed over planted seed to create moisture dome. If seedling hasn’t popped after 3 days turn light on to give more energy. Will leave now and check up on it in the next 24 hours 17th Feb. 17th Feb Wed - Checked on seedling today. No sprout as of yet,19:35, everything seems fine soil is moist and in the dome is moist. If there is any issues it would be the temp is lower than I’d like. 18th/19th Feb Thur - Fri - Still no sprout on Thursday 18th. Checked soil and it still a bit wet all around, I think I’ve planted the seed a little too deep. Noticed a few gnats. On day 19th Friday, there is still no sprout so to give it a bit of help I have turned the light on today. Noticed quite a few more gnats so I will try to put some white vinegar and fairy liquid in a bowl to place in tent. Will update over the weekend. 20th Feb Sat - Finally!!! The seed has finally sprouted, I won’t water this morning but I will check later tonight. Need to keep soil around plant moist but the outer bits of soil I’ll leave dry due to Gnats. Will leave moisture dome on for a day longer until I see leaves form. Very happy! Also repositioned light so it is directly above plant 21st Feb Sun - She is looking good! A lot of growth from yesterday to day gave some more water this morning as she was looking a bit dry. I’m looking to take the dome off tonight as she has started to come out. I’ve turned lamp off for 4 hours to give some rest. One leaf is curling over a little but I’m not too sure why? Will monitor and keep updated. Any advice appreciated!!

5/31 Week 6 Finally she is no longer growing vertically. The bulking up is starting as she now has much more space and thus light at all levels of her growth. She will continue receiving the occasional shot of PK when it looks needed. Afraid to hope for what it looks like will happen here 6/2 Pics She is taking over the 4x4 The more room she gets the more she seems to want, she will be alone in there soon enough. Well that wraps up the seed preservation run! It was a great learning experience as there were several major hurdles to get over the finish line, but nothing worthwhile comes easy. Plants are exploding. Seeing the power of RDWC now :-) Also found some mutants - leaves are growing in the the middle of the fingers.

Hey now, hope everyone is having a safe weekend. I currently have the Spectrum X running at 100% power and have upped the time on the UV/IR bars to 90 minutes just prior to lights off. I am super happy with this light so far, she puts out impressive PAR, and runs fairly cool. The only thing I would change is to have individual timers for the different spectrums. I did hear from another grower that Medic Grow does sell a controller that has this feature for $300. Not much to do this week other than keep the reservoir full and in the correct PH range. The tomatoes outside are absolutely loving the runoff from these autos, as that is all they have had to drink since they were about 3 weeks old.
