just before flowering 8 weeks ago-I took 2 clones of each strain from my last 4 diaries - 8 clones total and vegged them with CFL then went to LED reflector mars 192 (400w wall). now,my flowering room has just finished the last crop so i moved all 8 grown ups to veg another week and today i started 1212. i will be adding 2 X 300w BloomSpect LED panels in a week so total flowering led power is Mars Reflector 192 plus the 2units bloomspect 300 (660w wall). This diary records only flowering weeks without the clones vegging. I am having 8 plants with 660w @ 1.2m by 1.2m room - 10-12 oz dry is expected. Pictures soon Cheers

Day 56-63 (Day 5F-12F) (Day 6) Water retention is still a big issue in this soil, even with the reduced amendments, loose compaction and added perlite. Pots just aren’t drying out fast enough and I still need to water in enough to reach the bottom. I wish I had some flood trays for this exact reason so I could bottom water instead. (Day 9) I’m going to try running 2 liters of water through each pot until I see a good amount of runoff on each plant. Maybe the nutrient content of the soil is just too high. If this doesn’t work, I got nothing. Plants are drooping like crazy but that’s not surprising as I just flooded them. I’m going to turn on the carbon filter to clear out the humidity a lot faster. Over the next few days I’m going to let the filter suck the life out of this tent until it’s bone dry. If I start seeing deficiencies arise from my minor flush, I will foliar feed some 1-1-1 kelp and some 3-0-0 calmag. I highly doubt I will see any deficiencies but it doesn’t hurt to plan ahead. (Day 11) Ladies responded well to that heavy watering which is a little surprising honestly. The pots are still soaked and super heavy but they seem to be happy. (Day 12) I’m really not seeing any well defined bud sites which is not a good sign at this point. I have never grown under HPS and have never flowered a true 10 week strain so it could just take a little longer in early flower. So far I’m unimpressed

Buds are swelling up like crazy. Smell is starting to get very strong. Blueberry, CBD Big Bud Skunk and Do SI Do's are well into flower. The buds are enormous!! I've noticed a few are nitrogen hungry. I've been supplimenting and they seem to be happy. All in all very happy with the progress and how smooth things are going.... so far. Hello Diary, White Widow has reached the end of the 5th week of flowering, a total of 8 weeks since the start of the vegetation. As you can see from the photos, harvest is coming soon. I would say one more week and she will be ready. What's interesting is that this White Widow phenotype is a bit of a purple one. The flowers are starting to take on purple tones. The flowers are not as big compared to her roommates but they are rock hard and sticky under your fingers. This week I started checking the appearance of the trichomes and most of them are still transparent. All in all White Widow has pleasantly surprised me and brought a smile to my face when I look at her. The smell is very intense at this stage, the whole room smells like plants when I open the grow box. Watering is still every two or three days. This week I stopped adding nutrients, I just lowered the p.H. to 6.0 and water the plants with clean water. Here's what the previous week looked like. 13/09/2024 - Day 51. Watering. I prepared 9 liters of water, lowered the pH to 6.0 and used that amount to water all three plants on the farm. 16/09/2024 - Day 54. Watering. I repeated the same procedure as three days earlier. 18/09/2024 - Day 56. It's the end of the 8th week, taking pictures of the plants. That's all from me for this week, see you soon.

Die als NR1 bezeichnete Pflanze stammt aus einem sehr dicken und deutlich getigerten Samen. NR2 stammt aus einem 1/3 kleineren grau/braunen Samen.

(gave her 100ml of just PH 6.5 water) 27/10/2019 - Feeding day, gave her 250ml water with 0.25ml Biobizz Grow, 6.4PH (changed feeding to once every 2 days with a plain water interval) 28/10/2019 - Started LST 30/10/2019 - Feeding day, gave her 250ml water with 0.25ml of each Biobizz - Grow,Bloom and Max, 6.3PH, added carbon filter and it raised the temps to 29c 31/10/2019 - A tad too much of nuts, little burn tip. (Sensi Seeds warned me but I still goofed it)

Day 35 today. Still pushing forward and enjoying the process. Lowered the humidity in the tent, gotta have the AC on full blast though. Nutrients have been a challenge but getting things worked out and staying positive.

Day 85 - first day of Week 13 and she is going into darkness for 48 hours. Hasn't been watered since 2 days. Even though she looks the least done of all three, her trichomes are now a good 20-30% amber with the rest milky and some tiny bits of clear. I checked her buds on the calyx all around, from top buds to middle to bottom. She really shows a lot of heavily swolen calyxes, which I have never seen like that. I can now add that to the things I learned/experienced: calyxes swell a lot before the plant is finished. Let's see. My Girl Scout Cookies does not look like she even has calyxes. Funny individuals. Happy wedding cake day, almost 😍 Day 88 - out of darkness. She was in there for 2,5 days. Opening the drying tent she gave off a really strong smell of hash 😍wow. She has some nice looking buds and looks def. more done, but below her dress, she has some light fluffy buds. I have hung all of them now in the dry tent, after I removed some of the bigger fan leaves. One part of it, I think I want to low and slow dry in the fridge. I am interested in finding out about the difference in taste, when a more wholesome profile is retained. I bought a small tent (40x40cm), a small oszillating fan hung over the buds/on top of the tent. Due to size limitations, I have the filter on the bottom with the duct leaving the tent at the bottom connecting to an exhaust fan. Inside the tent I have a humidity sensor from an Inkbird Humidity regulator. Connected to that is a mini-dehumidifer and a humidifier. I have set it to 20°C (68F) and 50-55% humidity. I'm excited to see how long my dry will last this time. My first grow was drying way too fast in the middle of the heat wave last year with 30% humidity. The overview added to the pictures, I started making over Christmas. It was when I noticed, that I'm a so impatient, and that something must be wrong, especially in the first weeks. I get so obsessive, that I tend to overcare. Which she showcases beautifully in this overview. I hope this will calm me down the next time. Oh my haha Let's see what the final dry weight is. day 1- first sings of the pistils visible for the bare eye day 3 - all bud sites got their first calyces and pistiles now and seem to grow quiet fast and healthy. still waiting for my PH down but seems like it will take about 2 more weeks because of the high demand in germany right now after legalizeing. i guess she will be fine with just still the tiny mini yellow tips at the end of the leafs.

Last week before flushing..

Bud wet weight : 168,1g of trimmed medium to big sized buds 25,4g of tiny tiny buds/larfs = 193.5 grams of trimmed wet buds. Details on genetics and smoke report above. This, as my first grow, is way more than I ever expected it to be. I haven´t had that much fun and enthusiasm in a very very long time. I can´t even explain the feeling it is to harvest your own cannabis, but I know most of you know what I´m talking about haha. It was really nice to practice LST, even tho it was SO HARD, ´cause I didn´t had barely any space to work since I used a hard pot and did not fill nearly half the size of it and the walls of the pot were really high. It was even difficult to water without dropping water on the lower buds. I haven´t learnt much about defoliation tho, I feel I need to study a little more about the phases you should or should not do it. Also, I discovered thrips are a pain in the ass. I had 2 tough weeks dealing with thrips, but in the end it was alright. I don´t have any humidity control device, which I intend to buy for the next grows. Growdiaries was really helpful for me, it kept me motivated everyday (not that I wouldn´t have had it anyways), the Grow Questions are REALLY useful and all the community is awesome. Thanks to all people that helped me here on GD during this first grow! To conclude it: I am really happy and satisfied with how the grow turned out. They look incredible, it almost feels like I can´t believe it still. Peace. UPDATES: 07/10 : The buds are now dry and already in curing jars, one of them with a Boveda 58% humidity pack. The total grams of the dry buds are: 41.4g (medium to big sized buds) 4.1g (tiny buds) = 45.5 grams! I´m really happy with the results, I thought it would be around 30g so yeah, that´s a really good surprise! In 2 weeks I´ll be back to update the smoke report. Thanks so much for reading! Peace. 09/10 : I managed to fit everything in the same container with some space between them, so now every bud is with the Boveda pack. 14/10: It´s been a week and the smell improved, it still smells a little like hay/plant ( even tho it´s not too dry neither too wet ). 21/10: Now it´s been two weeks and even tho the smell isn´t anymore hay, it´s a lot herbal. I really think the aroma can get better, but the taste is already good enough for me. The smoke report has been done and in case I have something to add, I´ll report here.
