Another week in the books. She's getting closer to the end.

Hello Diary, Cherry Pie has completed the second week of flowering. The flowers are forming nicely, the areas around the flowers are a lighter green color, so it looks like it has Christmas lights on it. Cherry Pie has started to stagnate in growth, this week only 9 cm, now the plant will direct most of its energy into the flowers. The leaves are a healthy green color and so far they do not show me any signs that the plant is missing anything. Watering was every three days, I continued to add CalMg and Bio-Bloom Fertilizer. The conditions in the grow box are now much better. The temperature is around 28 degrees and the humidity is below 50%. Overall I am very happy with the growth and progress so far. Here is a quick overview of the week. 24/08/2024 - Day 31. Watering. I prepared 9 liters of water. I added CalMg 1 ml/lit, Bio-Bloom Fertiliser 1.5 ml/lit and then lowered the p.H. to 6.0. With this amount I watered all three plants evenly. 27/08/2024 - Day 34. Watering. I repeated the same procedure as three days earlier. 28/08/2024 - Day 35. End of the second week of flowering, or the fifth week from the beginning of vegetation. Photographing and measuring the height of the plants. Day 22 - No keeping this beast down! Any kind of LST thrown at her has nothing but amazing results! Time to start leaf tucking! Day 23 - Doing what I can to get those lowers as much light as they can! I saw a pistol or two. Can't wait to see her ignite into flower! Day 24 - She's filling out and that cover crop is just insane!! I have not been able to get any of my water soluble nutrients in because of the run off. Tomorrow will be the day as its been a few days since I've needed the shop vac. Day 25 - Early morning feeding. I take my pictures consistently in the evening around 8-10pm. Insane 24 hour difference! Hard to keep the leaves under control. Day 26 - Installed a trellis net for a few reasons. I like to have a baseline for later lollipopping, it'll help support later buds, and its opening lower sites up for light, giving them their final chance to not get the later cut. Day 27 - Final tuck with some pulley assistance in areas before I head out of town for a day in the morning. Moving the cover crop to not allow shadow casting. I could always chop it and give it to the soil, but im enjoying the sight. Day 28 - Had to go out of town for the night, so no picture for today. I'm sure shes happy and raging.

12 weeks total for a strange strange plant that turned out wonderful in the end!

Week 12 complete and she's starting to fatten up a tad more. Pistils are going brown but she kicks up new white ones every morning. 80-90% clear tricomes still and as I hoped she looks like she's got another week or two to go. Slight clawing of the leaves and some brown spots but they're very few of them. I've raised the LED a couple of inches just in case of light burn. Or it may be she still has a lot of food in the coco as after checking the runoff of tds it was around 1000ppm but as it's living soil she should just take what she needs and stop when she's had enough. And I'm still just feeding her water as I'm 'flushing' her. The Symphylans are still doing their job well from the looks of her!! After researching Symphylans, they are microscopic centipede like insects that are white and they mainly eat seedling roots or decaying organic matter..so they're essentially cleaning the medium..and they stay under the soil away from the light. They can makes holes in roots for pathogens to enter her..but as she's doing so well and as it's only a week or two away from harvest I'm not going to worry about it. Dec. 13 - start of week 11 and all's well into the flip to flower. Clipped 'er out real good twice but there's no stopping these girls. Probably looking at some serious pruning over the next 2 weeks. We'll keep it light but regular and with luck, it'll be a perfect mix between max photo synth. and energy allocation. We've gone much more aggressive with the nute shed. - gonna jam 'em every feed on a 5:1 ratioof full strength to calmag only and see how they take to it instead of the current 3:1. @quexos was spot non about the defo - shoulda been a little more ruthless but all good - we'll get there homie😉 Thanks again to the usual suspects for the comments and critiques. They’ll spend a first week or so under a cfl assembly while the last harvest dries out in the cabinet. This is our 2nd grow of an NL strain and this one should be typical of NL in terms of resilience. That said, she’s a former cup winner so we’re hopeful for supreme quality this time around. 👍 Gonna jack up the nute shed. and supplements heavy throughout the grow in the hopes of really testing the limits of my grow space (approx. 2sq/ft). Hello! Week 4 is now complete so go take a look! Day 29: Flowering has begun. Day 30: I've been keeping Enigma moist. Day 31: She's looking a bit happier. Day 32: More and more pistils. I am not sure what to expect from her stretch but it has started. Two weeks or so usually and 2x or 3x height. I doubt she will do that but it'll sure be interesting to see what happens. To be honest she is already bigger than I expected her to get. Height is 25cm. Day 33: Height 26cm Enigma is flowering away. Day 35: Height 27cm. Week Summary: Enigma has stretched out quite a bit this week. I expect more of that next week. She's super thirsty. She has gained 10cm this week, quite a difference. If she does the same sort of stretching next week she might end up being 40cm by the end of the week. Imagine that a 40cm plant in a pot that isn't 8cm tall.

Switching them into flower after 8 weeks of veg. Going to get some nutrients this week as well. I decided to downsize and keep the biggest strongest plants and adopting out the rest.

This week they both shot up and got stronger. Wendy's broken stem made no difference and the two of them are sucking up nutes. Next weeks feed will be adding cal mag and heavier nutes as i can see pre flower, generative looks. Small white hairs appearing. Started tucking leaves back - scrog is coming too. Hold on 2 your wigs!

The lady is growing slowly. The balcony location is not the best spot. A few more sun hours, would be better. That's life :D. The Flower time starts. In the main the first buds are visible. LST goes on. A big thanks to bud trainers, your clips working well. Day 27 Photoshooting

Strawberry lemonade and Acapulco gold Potted into 4ltr pots with peat Moss based soil and fresh Bunny buttons. I'll put pineapple chunk into bigger pots soon. Started some other seeds to as spares, some will get the chop soon as I've got way to many !! Light at 16000 lux.
