One more week up we go :) i'.m doing 14h light 5h out 1h light 4 out since they are enjoying it so much i'm going to keep it up until i change to 12/12. the one hour ligth in the midle is just to prevent them from switching to flower. 🌱 Amnesia Skunk — Grow Recap (from seed to now) Strain: Amnesia Skunk Auto-Flower: 12/12 from seed Current age: Week 7 from seed Flowering reference: Week 3 of flower (by morphology, not calendar) How we got here • From day one, this run was intentional: 12/12 from seed, no veg phase. • Plants established quickly with strong root development and steady internodal spacing. • Early structure showed vigorous lateral branching, typical of Amnesia-leaning genetics. • Transition into flower was smooth — no stall, no stress signals. • By early flower, canopy density increased fast, especially in a full 8×8 room (~27 plants). This is where room logic started to matter more than single-plant logic. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment Snapshot (current) • Day temp: ~28 °C • RH: ~65% • EC: ~2.4 • pH: ~6.5 • Height: ~40–80 cm • Lighting: LED (multi-layer canopy + under-canopy) On paper? Some growers panic at 28 °C in flower. In practice? This is where understanding beats numbers. ⸻ 🍃 LED, Leaf Temperature & VPD (the part most skip) Under LED lighting, room temperature ≠ what the plant feels. Unlike HPS, LEDs: • Don’t dump infrared heat • Keep leaf surface temperature 2–4 °C cooler than ambient So when: • Room temp ≈ 28 °C • Leaf temp ≈ 24–26 °C • RH ≈ 65% 👉 Leaf VPD lands right in the comfort zone for early–mid flower. And the plants confirm it: • Deep, relaxed green • No tacoing • No stress-praying • Strong internodes • Uniform nutrient uptake across phenotypes That’s real data. We’re not ignoring numbers — we’re letting plant behavior be the final authority. Stability fixing something that isn’t broken. ⸻ ✂️ Defoliation — why it was heavier this week Let’s be very clear: This was not aesthetic defoliation. This was functional, room-driven defoliation. Context matters • 🏠 8×8 room • 🌱 ~27 plants • 🌬️ Airflow, humidity pockets, and light penetration scale very differently at this density A single plant might not ask for it — but the room did. Why we defoliated • Improve airflow through a dense canopy • Reduce micro-humidity pockets • Let photons travel into the canopy, not just hit the top • Reset apical dominance • Refocus energy toward flowering sites Yes — it was heavier than initially planned. But: • Genetics are strong • Roots are dialed • Feed is stable • Plants are healthy Healthy plants recover fast. Stressed plants don’t. First time topping a plant so it made me kinda nervous. I cut right above the fourth node and it didn’t seem to stress out too much. There’s a lot of storms this week with large swings in weather so sunlight hasn’t been as good but also didn’t go over 100 degrees this week so I guess it’s the good with the bad. Day 42 – Vegetation This plant is looking well-trained and spreading out beautifully! The main stem has been opened up with some strong LST, allowing light to hit every single top. New growth is healthy and vibrant green, with multiple bud sites forming along the branches. The structure is flat and even, creating an ideal base for a wide, productive canopy. No signs of stress from the training – she handled it like a champ. Over the next few days, she’ll keep focusing on filling in those gaps and building strength before the flip to flower in 6

Revegetation follows but slowly. The days are being difficult here in the southeastern coast of Brazil with temperatures of +35 degrees celsius and very low humidity - which I believe to be the main stress responsible for the slow process, since high humidity is fundamental at this stage, so I spend the days spraying a considerable amount of water to keep the plant fresh. Feeding is low in commonly used organic nutrients and plenty of watering to keep the soil wet. I have another plant of the same genetics also in a state of revegetation, but this one I made a light harvest and made it more whole and is developing very well. Soon I will put her diary and another plant that I picked considerably and could not revegetate because of this difficult humidity. Att Revegetação segue, porém lenta. Os dias estão sendo dificeis aqui no litoral sudeste do brasil com temperaturas de +35 graus celsius e humidade muita baixa - o que acredito ser o principal stresse responsavel pela lentidão do processo, visto que alta humidade é fundamental nessa fase, por isso passo os dias borrifando uma quantidade consideravel de água a fim de manter a planta fresca -. Alimentação segue em baixa quantidade de nutrientes organicos ja usado comumente e bastante rega para manter a terra molhada. Tenho outra planta da mesma genética também em estado de revegetação, porém essa eu fiz uma leve colheita e a deixei mais inteira e está se desenvolvendo muito bem. Breve colocarei o diário dela e de uma outra planta que colhi de maneira consideravel e não consegui revegetar por causa dessa dificil humidade. Att

Went into 48 hours or darkness on day 66, then chop...14-21 day 60/60 dry ahead. Will report on harvest and smokes in a few weeks. Another great scrog under the belt!

switched the plant to 12/12 so far really not much difference other then a few inches of height. i do have some questions with leaves if anyone can take a look. for pretty much throughout this plants life as a clone ive had issues as it was my first photo and first plant in general. now after many recoveries the plant consistently having a decent amount of leaves look a little either burnt or deficiency stricken. now on another forum i was told nute burn. but im not really doing strong nutes, even after just water its still exhibiting this issue. the ph has been consistently alright. i just dont see what im doing wrong and a little nervous for flowering whats to happen.

Space finally opened up, so the Haze plants are officially in their long-term homes: 3-gallon pots with a coco and perlite mix. Haze 2 looked great initially but hit a brief patch of transplant shock. Thankfully, she has fully bounced back. Interestingly, she threw out double branches from the first node, but her growth returned to normal branching by the third. Haze 1, on the other hand, is much bushier and is already showing female pre-flowers. I’ve taken clones and flipped the tent to flower. The plants are currently sitting at 16 inches from the substrate line in a 2x4x6 tent. Given the legendary Haze stretch, I fully expect to have to relocate them before flower is over. Environmentally, I’m running a 4” exhaust but have a 6” on standby in case temps spike. Right now, with the lights only pushing 55% to hit around 800 PAR, heat is completely manageable. I also set up a timelapse with my Wyze cam, which I’ll share in the next update if it works out.

She went through her 1st issue, and started to show signs of a cal-mag deficiency. I realized I was very light on cal-mag and did not increase the amount of cal-mag as much as needed with this monster. Problem solved. This was her last vegetative week, LET'S FLIP THAT BOMBASTICK 👈😎👌
