The one problematic plant is still struggling, but I think I’ve figured it out: looks like a nutrient lockout caused by overfeeding. From now on, the back right and front right plants will get only adjusted water – no more feed. The rest of the ladies are looking great, pushing hard and stacking well. So, sad day friends. I got spider mites and had to throw all my plants out. This is what I think happened: About 2-3 weeks ago I noticed some freckling on the lower leaves. I looked at it and thought it might be a cal/mag issue so I added cal/mag that week and went about my business. I saw it about a week later and it wasn''t getting any better so I added more cal/mag. This continued for about 2-3 weeks until I finally took off a leaf and examined it under my microscope. I saw little bugs crawling everywhere and my stomach just dropped. My fiance did some quick research while I was panic ripping leaves off (see pictures) and she correctly diagnosed it as spider mites. I debated with myself and my close friend and ultimately I decided to throw all the plants in my tent away. I know that there are a lot of people who will say that there are things I could have done to make it to harvest but what it came down to is the people I take care of and personal pride. I consider myself a caregiver and I give away product for free that I am not going to use to my family and close friends. I thought to myself "Would you smoke this?" and when my answer was "ehhh, I don''t know", I thought about how it would feel giving it away and immediately made the decision to destroy them. I take an immense amount of pride in my product and this hobby and if I am not going to stand behind it I would rather just start over. I grow from my heart (shout out to the Grow From Your Heart Podcast!) to help people and make sure my family is not getting unsafe product from sketchy people. To spray pesticides in flower that may hurt people and have little bug carcasses in there just goes against that in every way and is just wrong in my opinion if you are giving it away to others. If you are the only one smoking it then it is one thing to take that risk but not with your patients. I want my medicine to help people, not create or exacerbate health issues. It is also important to note that the mites had moved from my flower tent into my veg space and took over my auto berry as well. Damn things are crafty and fast. So that is why I made the decision to destroy them all after 3 months of res changes, pruning, and manifolding on a slow vegging strain. Feel free to chime in with your opinion but I do not and will not regret my decision. I threw out my new clones, mother plant, and auto berry I had on my veg side as well. Shout out to all the other growers out there that do the right thing by their patients. Caregivers > Cash croppers. For anyone curious, I removed everything from my tent and scrubbed it all with a 20% bleach/water solution. All equipment has been wiped down and stored in the garage away from any organic materials. I will give them until tomorrow (2 days) to air out and dry and then I will wipe it down again with bleach and wait another 2 days. Hopefully that will make sure everything is dead and will not come back next grow. That next grow should start in about a week. It sucks but sometimes it happens and you gotta be ready for it. Lesson learned. Never bring outdoor plants into your indoor garden even if it is after just a day or two. A bunch of people on here and Reddit warned me and I did not listen. Now I have learned the hard way and it feels like when your parents "told you so" haha. Thanks to everyone who stopped by along the way. Stay tuned for a new grow coming soon. Flower Week 3 / Day 2: The plants each received 2 liters of water and nutrients. I only gave them half the dose of fertilizer. They are doing wonderful. The leaves have a rich green color and are praying. Flower Week 3 / Day 5: Today I defoliated them again a little, as some parts were getting a bit too bushy. They are now quite sticky and the trichomes glisten in the light. Unfortunately, it doesn't look quite the same on the video. All of Taylor's buds develop evenly. In Beyoncé's case, one half is already well developed and the other half behaves completely differently. In any case, both are healthy. Perhaps it is also due to the genetics of the plant.

This ones really starting to swell. I'm blown away by the one in fox farm soil but the one in the coast of maine sadly is not as happy. I've been top dressing with worm castings to the deficient one. I'm excited by the frosty trichomes beginning to form on the larger healthier plant of the two. At this point I'd say it wasn't a different pheno but maybe a deficiency. The ladies are gonna finish strong. Check back next week to see just how fast she buds & remember its 4:20 somewhere!!!!

Been flushing after a bit of leaf tips showing signs over over feed. Hit with typhoon and now tap water until I decide to harvest.

420Fastbuds StrawberryGorillaAuto Week 1 of Veg What up grow fam. These 3 have sprouted amazing with no issues. All 3 had popped after 48hrs of being in the soil. Still misting the top soil with my sprayer to keep the soil moist but will start regular manual watering of 500ml every other day this week. All in all Happy Growing

Oh man I'm excited about this one now. I think I may try and fill this tent out with this just this one plant. Earth box and manual scrog on this Gelato. After getting her in there and realizing how easy she is to bend over and how easy it will be to get a monster plant with this set up, I'm super stoked. This will probably end up being a super long veg time but that's okay. This is exciting for me. Something different.

One of my fast bud testers leaves are drying a lot at the tips faster than the other 2! It was expected at first as they drink a lot faster being in 385ml pots! I have just only started flush today so I’ll keep an eye on her and hope she makes it until the end! Hopefully the roots are not bound, but The signs are there! Wish me luck!

Another week, new Problems. On Wednesday i noticed that on the Special Queen one spot looked very weird. Instead of forming one bud on a spot, there were coming two buds out of one spot. After asking in questions section and google the problem, i found out that this is most likely "Fasciation", a mutation most likely caused by stress or bad genetics. Some people said it's fine and that it will get even higher THC levels, but most said it will have less THC, taste weird and that there will be most likely a high mold chance. So after some consideration i took the scissors and just did cut it off. Im really not in the mood to experiment with some mutant stuff right now and i just hope the energy will now go into the other branches instead. Also i did my last defoliation on Thursday. Maybe i have done too much of it, but that is how it is now. I have a good feeling that i will get good results and right now that is all which matters for me. You can ask 10 people and all have different opinions about it, so i just do it now as i think it's right. At least now i can see everything all right, so if i get hermies, i can remove the pollen sacs right away. Before that i couldn't see anything because of all the leaves. It was such a pain in the ass and took over 5 hours to remove everything. I can't open my tent on the left side and can't remove the plants because of the scrog, so i really struggled especially to do it on RG #1, my back is killing me now. Decided to do super cropping on two Branches of RG #1, so i can lower the lamp a little bit. Im out of stuff which i could put under the Plants to increase height, so the canopy won't get better / more even then this now sadly. I hope i did it kinda right. Im still kinda sad that they didn't stretch more, but it is what it is. As you can see on my picture there is a lot of wasted space on top of my tent, like 30cm. Next Veg will be longer for sure. After last week they now got BioTabs Bio PK 5-8 again for the second time. I think the plants look alright and as long as nothing will herm now, i think im fine for the upcoming last 5-6-7 weeks.
