10/26 - 11/1:
I germinated 6 seeds with rapid rooters in net pots in my DWC cloner. The Original Bubble Gum didn't pop, so I started a Strawberry Pie in it's stead.
I planted them in 1/2 gallon biodegradable fabric pots and will plant those in some new 2 gallon pots (which actually hold closer to 3 gallons) once I harvest my current crop and have somewhere to put them.
I'll grow them in my tiny tent (36" x 18" x 60"), which is just 5 square feet, so it's gonna get pretty tight before it's over. Once they're mid-way into flowering, I'll turn on the 3rd QB and hammer them with 74w per square foot! Muah haaa haaaa haaaaa!😈
11/2:
The Starcandy x Gelato and the Starcandy x Strawberry Cheesecake both show signs of N deficiency, so I'm gonna feed tomorrow.
11/3:
I fed today and started foliar feeding with kelp and fish emulsion every time I check on them.
11/4:
They're looking a little better today, but still not 100%...
Skunk is kinda mutated..a little wonky looking and slow, but maybe she's just a slow starter..
Strawberry Pie is catching up despite being a few days behind.
11/7:
no time to comment
11/9:
I forgot to take a photo of the Starcandy F2, but she's doing fine..
I bought an AC Infinity 4" duct booster fan with speed control and have it on the timer with the lights, so during "daylight hours" I'm intaking outside air at 106cfm. Quite a bit better than when just passively drawn by the 6" inline fan... which is partially drawing air through the tiny tent (using a manual damper) before it goes into the closet. Tent is staying at just below 80f when outdoor temps are 65f or less, with 240w of light running. I'm thinking it will be about 6 degrees warmer in the tent when I turn on the 3rd QB and on days when the outdoor temp is 65f- ish or a little less....but when the winter temps are more constant in Dec and Jan, (mid-late flower), it should be 10 degrees cooler than now in the tent and with all 360w running, which would be just fine by me.
11/14:
I potted up the Skunk in a 2 gallon pot and moved her and several sick looking photos into the closet for now.
I bought some small tension rods to use to prevent my tent from collapsing so much under the negative pressure. A definite improvement...I was losing 3-4" of space on all sides, and in this tiny tent, that's way too much.
11/16
Big feeding today.
Starcandy: starting to flower
Starcandy x Gelato: starting to flower
Starcandy x Strawberry Cheesecake: starting to flower
Pineapple Express: starting to flower
11/16:
I fed them today. Everybody's looking good.👍
11/18:
I potted up the other 5 plants in 2 gallon pots and except for a few photos that aren't quite big enough to flower yet, they've got the whole tiny tent to themselves.
11/20:
I fed them and sprayed them with BoomBoom Spray and Axiom today and let it soak in nice and slow under low light with no air circulation. All but the Strawberry Pie are flowering..Pineapple Express is a beast. "Red Channel on Quantum Boards.....Engage."
11/25:
Still just a few pistils on the Skunk, and she hasn't hit her stride just yet. Strawberry Pie is still vegging and the shorty this run, but everybody else is stretching and flowering.
11/27:
Fed today.
11/28:
Strawberry Pie still not flowering. Starcandy and PE have stretched another 5 inches in 2 days.
11/30 - 12/5:
---Starcandy x Gelato's apex is beginning to fatten, so her stretch is done I think.
---Starcandy x Strawberry Cheesecake isn't stretching much at all.
---Starcandy (f2) is a beast...no training at all and all her lowers have caught up to the apex.
---Pineapple Express is keeping up with the Starcandy stretch, but her lower branching is not nearly as vigorous.
---Skunk is a little bush..hoping she stretches a bunch, so I actually took her off her platform to encourage it...she's a good 20 inches from the light now, along with the Strawberry Pie
---Strawberry Pie has finally begun to flower!
12/15:
Lowered the lights a little bit and installed a new fan to increase airflow.
Starcandy is the garden star..she's be the best producer and smells wonderful...can't quite put my finger on it yet..a little less fuel nose than the last ones....more of a sweet smell.
Skunk is stating to bud up pretty quickly now, but has no malodorous emanations as of yet.
Starcandy x Gelato is still very much in the lead and frosting up very nicely.
Starcandy x Strawberry Cheesecake smells killer....just wish she was bigger.
Pineapple Express is starting to fatten. She has very thick pistils and smells just like she's supposed to now.
Strawberry Pie doesn't seem like she's gonna stretch much...
12/16:
Fed today.
SP is frosting up already ..still no stank from the Skunk..
12/21:
Added a TNB CO2 maker to the tiny tent...
12/22:
Fed today.
This tent REEKS!!!
12/26:
Fed today.
12/27:
Switched to a pair of Mars Hydro TS1000W 150w lights.
1/4:
I fed them for the last time on the 2nd, and decided to flush them today. I put about 8 gallons of warm water and liquidsoil through each of their pots and late at night, under the cover of darkness, I took them outdoors to finish in my wife's little covered raised bed/greenhouse.
It was 35f out there, so they got quite a cold shock. Hopefully they frosted over even more.❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️
The Starcandy (F2) finished drying and got weighed and jarred up. She came in at 114g, with 73g of delectable tops, 20ish grams of secondary tops, and the rest was scraggly bud which will be dry sifted thoroughly, then added to the next batch of cannabutter.
It's my most impressive creation to date. The jarred aroma is incredible...like pineapple upside-down cake just pulled from the oven. It's so resinous that it'll stick to the wall if you can throw a good fastball. There are 5 remaining beans of this one-of-a-kind strain, and they are MINE....ALL MINE...muahahahah!😈
1/5:
It was sunny and about 80f in the greenhouse today...low of 56f tonight and high of 56f tomorrow and for the next few days. Thinking I'll harvest all but the Skunk on Friday if it looks like it will stay above freezing.
1/7:
All 5 remaining autos have actually fattened up some more outside, and showing some sexy senescence. The cold nights are really bringing out the colors.👍
Thinking I'll probably harvest the Starcandy x Gelato and Starcandy x Strawberry Cheesecake tonight, otherwise my whole Friday night will be spent harvesting...
1/5:
Weighed and jarred after about 6 days of drying time: 114g ..not too shabby for an auto.
Amazing aroma, and excellent potency. My best hybrid creation to date.
Potency: 8/10
Yield: 8/10
Aroma: 10/10
Flavor: 9/10
Bag-appeal: 9/10
Bud density: 9/10
I'd highly recommend growing some of these yourself...oh wait, that's right...they're MINE...ALL MINE!!!!! Muahhahahahah!!!!😈
1/7:
I brought them indoors at about 3am, stripped all their fan leaves, and left them sitting in the dark overnight.
About 18 hours later, I snuck up on them with my lopping shears.....gave them a nice bath and hung them to dry.

Week 11. Harvest

Happy Harvest Day!
Starcandy x Strawberry Cheesecake - Custom Breeder & Strain
This was the lowest yielding of the bunch at 65g, but it's some pretty special bud. The Strawberry Cheesecake genetics showed through the most as far as flavors and aromas, but it's every bit as potent as the pure Starcandy.
It was fairly dense bud, and very resinous. I still have a few of these beans left to try...who knows what I'll get with the next ones...
Final thoughts-
Potency: 8/10
Yield: 7/10
Flavor: 10/10
Aroma: 10/10
Bud-density: 7/10
Bag-appeal: 8/10
Another winner emerges from Silverback Guerilla's Accidental Hybrid Farms!👍
I'm calling it "Starberry Cheesecake."
This one stunk up the whole house from week 6, and it just got worse and worse. I'm not nuts about fuel flavors, but everybody else says it's da bomb. Decent yield considering it was only in a 2 gallon pot. It definitely got the stink trait from it's Stardawg ancestry. The Gelato genes stepped up the potency a bit I think.
Will take some dried bud photos and post them soon-

I'm calling it "Diesicle" a.k.a. Diesel Popsicle
The last time I grew these, both plants were squatty little, leafy bushes, but with the most outstanding resin production of any auto I had grown to date.
Ditto with this one....it was a little bit bigger, and still leafier than I'd like...but shit-tons of frost. This strain has a very dank berry aroma....not sweet...but, the flavor IS very sweet with a little bit of herbal spiciness on the exhale. I absolutely love it and was elated to find a single nanner last run that I allowed to throw pollen into the wind, so I've got some more killer auto hybrids on my horizon! (SP x Orange Sherbet, SP x Blackberry, SP x Wedding Cheesecake, SP x Gorilla Cookies, and SP x Lemon Pie) Oh yeah!😁

This will be my last review of this strain, but I'll definitely be growing more..at least until some other strain supplants it as a perennial favorite...
Final thoughts-
This one kinda disappointed me. She grew well, had amazing colors and a produced pretty well for an auto in a 2 gallon pot, but if I grow another PE, it will be from another breeder...was really hoping for that typical PE aroma and flavor and got something altogether different.

Final thoughts:
I was a little bit disappointed with this one... I was hoping for a true skunk aroma, but she actually smells very pleasant...like a breath mint spray...
This plant was very pale from the get-go. She seemed like she was having root problems, but nothing I did improved her color. She made a lot of buds that swelled up very nicely, but her buds aren't as dense as I'd like now that dried.
