Day 16 : I'm verry confident about this plant ! Every leaf have a perfect shape and colour, she is growing well and fast. I can see new leaves appearing at nodes. I'm waiting a bit more to perform the topping above node 3, to start a main-lining, for the first time ^^She had her first nutrients feeding this week. 50% of recommended dose. I will add dirt mixed with homemade composting, just because she stretched a bit too much at the begining. I'm excitied to use my composting ! This will be the first time I'll use it for my cannabis plants. Worked well with veggies already ^^ Day 18 - 19 : I notice the plant is EXTRA happy lol. On the morning, when I take her from the dark to the outside, she's already pointing all the leaves to the sky. I was used to see this with happy plant, after some hours of lights under my led. I'm verry amazed by how much she look good ! And she is growing verry verry fast... I'm going to top her this week (so between week 3 and 4). Probably on day 22.

End of Week 11 (Fourth week of flower) The ladies are frosting up more and more by the day and there are trichomes everywhere! I Added about 8g per plant of GHF BioBloom and a cup of worm castings a small final feed to make sure the ladies have what they need to grow big dense buds. And increased the CO2 to 1400ppm and in 2 weeks time I will cut the CO2. The main top-sites are bulking up more and I am very happy with the inter-nodal spacing as well as the bud formation. Trying to keep the training to a bare minimum and ONLY removing fan leaves that are blocking bud sites. I have been keeping a cooler average temperature - and also keeping the relative humidity lower. Pest Report: None

I couldnt expected the buds on some of the plants to be tbis big we around 2 weeks to harvest i have a few different strains growing in the same tent and the smells are amazing

9/17 - Day 30 Flowering! Both shooting pistils with Mace pulling ahead of GG's schedule even more. GG started showing what appears to be a P deficiency on largest fan leaves. Took it as a sign to feed for BAS nutrient tea and bottom feeding some Buddha Bloom. Mace shows some mag def, increased calmag. 9/18 Added slight LST to GG, mostly to guide the main cola/stalk away from growing straight into the light. In dieser Woche ist mir bei meiner Homebox der Reißverschluss abgekackt 😑 aber wie der Zufall so will sind die growpros gerade im Angebot und die Z-ups eh viel zu groß, also gleich mal n 80x80er gegönnt 😅 Zu den Pflanzen: Z-up #1 Keine mängel, braucht bisschen länger als #2, aber wird schon. Hat jetzt zumindest die Höhe aufgeholt, die Blüten sind noch nicht so weit entwickelt. Die Abstände sind aber hervorragend wie auch bei ihrer Schwester. Z-up #2 Zeigt immer wieder überdüngung an, aber entwickelt sich trotzdem super. Falls ich die hellen Blattspitzen falsch interpretiere, gerne was schreiben 😜 ph im drain ist 6,8 und ppm kommen bei gegoßenen 670 (hier habe ich die Nährlösung verdünnt) auf 1050ppm. 👋Top is a clean cut, no confusion for the plant, road ahead is clear, by completely removing the main growth tip, the auxin source is eliminated. The plant permanently halts vertical growth from that main stem and immediately sends its energy and hormones to the two new, evenly spaced branches just below the cut. Fimming slightly different because a small tuft of the top growth is left behind, the auxin disruption is temporary and less severe. The plant recovers more quickly and sends its energy to multiple surrounding growth points, often creating four or more new shoots from the same spot. It will eventually regain some vertical dominance after a few weeks if left to its own devices, but with a little more LST, bending the apex to the same height as the rest of the internodes, this shatters dominance, hopefully creating around 8-9 main shoots growing at equal height once recovered and grown out. Reduced environmental intensity for now and let her focus on dealing with this new stress for a week or two. The amount of photosynthesis (water splitting) directly determines the availability of H+ ions (protons) in a plant. 90% of water is for cooling of photosynthetic apparatus the other 10% is split for its H+ among others things. Carbon sugars, like glucose, do oxidize in soil through a process primarily driven by microorganisms, which break down these sugars for energy. This oxidation converts the sugars into carbon dioxide (CO2) through cellular respiration, a key part of the soil carbon cycle, though some carbon may also be incorporated into soil organic matter. The rate and extent of sugar oxidation depend on factors like oxygen availability, the presence of Fe oxides, and soil redox conditions, which can all influence the process. My understanding of why we flush. Just plain water, what does it do? Strips the medium of salts and nutrients making it empty. What does that do? Triggers nutrient recycling within the plant. What's nutrient recycling? It is a natural part of plant senescence, which can be triggered once you know the switches. A 24:1 carbon-to-nitrogen ratio will also trigger. Why won't it trigger autophagy for me? Nitrogen needs to be gone, gone, gone almost. Ammoniacal (organic) nitrogen takes 4-5 times more water to separate it from soil particles than nitrates so what happens is most people jist flush the nitrates, leave all the ammoniacal in there and this prevents autophagy initiating. Nitrogen decays differently depending on its form during the dry. Ammoniacal nitrogen will oxidize in the air, leaving no trace. But nitrates do no decay and turn volatile and smelly and remain trapped until smoked, no matter how long you cure it does not oxidize. This is why you need to trigger it and begin the denitrfication process prior to harvest to get rid of all the nitrates. Otherwise, you will smoke it. Flush till autophagy begins, just make sure you add no nitrogen afterwards. Micronutrients for trichomes. Don't leave the medium empty for 2 weeks, that does nothing but reduce yield 10%ish. Trichomes are another thing. Trichomes themselves are not directly affected by flushing; rather, flushing affects the plant's nutrient uptake, which influences the development and final state of the trichomes. Trichomes are filled with antioxidants in the last weeks, which is what makes them cloudy. A lot of the processing of antioxidants requires energy and nutrients (mostly micronutrients ), so you don't want that soil empty for 2 weeks, you just want the carbon nitrogen ratio 24:1and no higher. She still wants what she needs to ripen. Processing antioxidants is energy-intensive; heat and light accelerate the rate at which THC converts to CBN. This is why you lower DLI, lower temps. By doing so, you reduce the oxidative workload caused by photosynthesis, which opens up the oxidative capacity for the production of antioxidants. THC is mostly processed at night when the plant's oxidative capacity is generally moreso "free and available" for work

in veg to allow humidity to be high I had plants on risers and left water in the bottom tray of tent after feeding. I cleaned the tent and reintroduced drip trays under pot risers and now I shop-vacuum all water out of drip tray to keep rh lower for flower. also increased exhaust from low to high and added a 4 inch booster fan to bottom of tent as intake to draw dry air in. sour 76 #5 (fastest largest grower) was male got pulled out of tent but later eaten by my cats :( rip didnt get any pollen collected

day 1- first sings of the pistils visible for the bare eye day 3 - all bud sites got their first calyces and pistiles now and seem to grow quiet fast and healthy. still waiting for my PH down but seems like it will take about 2 more weeks because of the high demand in germany right now after legalizeing. i guess she will be fine with just still the tiny mini yellow tips at the end of the leafs.

Week 18 (30-6 tm 5-7) 30-6 Temperatuur: 31.4 graden (licht aan) 22.5 graden (licht uit) Luchtvochtigheid: 69% (hoogste) 50% (laagste) Ik heb de trichomen bekeken en heb besloten haar nog een dagje langer laten staan. Watergift: Geen. 1-7 Vandaag heb ik de trichomen opnieuw bekeken en die zien er goed uit! Veel cloudy en best wel wat amber. Ik hou echt van deze trichome foto's, echt mind blowing hoe dat er uit ziet! Dus vandaag gaat de schaar er in! 2-7 Ik heb besloten om een wet trim te doen zodat als ze droog is ze gelijk in de cure pot kan. Geloof het of niet, maar ik ben wel 12 uur lang bezig geweest om alles te knippen 😅 Op 1-7 ben ik in de middag begonnen en in de vroege ochtend van 2-7 was ik klaar. Het natte gewicht van de buds is 283 gram, en het natte gewicht van de trim is 61 gram. Ik ben nu al super tevreden met het gewicht! Dit is meer dan het dubbele aan gewicht vergeleken met mijn eerste grow. De buds zien er ook echt mooi uit. Ik schat dat het tussen de 50 en 75 gram droog gaat zijn. Ik ben benieuwd, nu een paar dagen drogen! Nu een paar weken curen en dan kom ik met de rook verslag 😁 Ik zal binnenkort ook even berekenen wat de gram per watt is, aangezien ik de lamp niet de gehele grow op 100% had staan. Het droge gewicht van de buds is precies 75 gram, en het droge gewicht van de trim is 19 gram. Samen maakt dat 94 gram!
