In questa settimana ho iniziato ad impostare gli steli nella rete, che sostituisce in parte le clip e consente l’espansione dello stelo andando a coprire il suo “quadrato” all interno della rete. Pulizia completa di tutto quello che si trova al di sotto della punta dello stelo in modo da favorire in nutrimento alla sola testa. Un altra settimana di attesa, il tempo che si allunghino gli altri steli ed arrivino più o meno tutti a livello e si procede con lo switch a 12/12 per partire con la fioritura (l’impostazione della lampada è ancora a 400w di potenza )

They are close to being ready to harvest! Smelling very nicely and looking frosty. I’ll start flushing them soon since they should need only a week or so more to ripen.

I can't believe other than my diary there are only 2 others of this strain. These girls are trucking along. Heavy feeders and vigorous growth. Started cutting back on grow nutrients and mixing bloom nutrients to get ready for the switch this upcoming week. So far grow has been smooth sailing. Hopefully the next 8-10 weeks go just as smoothly

Day 43. Girl is running nice. Now when 90% of side shoots are secured, just readjusting ties and leaf tucking left. Doubt ill make it in time for event, but somehow i feel that harvest will be way bigger reward ;)) she already smell strong and nice ;))) TS1000 is on max output. I rotate two smallest plants under her daily and see no issues with this light at the moment. Bud development will finalise my feeling about her ;) Happy Growing !!!

DSD33 week 4F Here we are at the end of the 4th week of flower, and everything is going perfectly. I defoliated a ton of fan leaves and took away a few sucker shoots, and now I think I need to re arrange the branches in the net for optimal spacing. They are drinking approx 5L each every 4 days, with nutrients. Week 10, so from today I stopped watering the Gelato Cookie D'ohpe and on Saturday no more light as well. Sunday is harvest day finally. Not much changed, I raised up the water with 25ml so the Purple Punch gets 200ml 2 x a day. That's all, since last week I started giving 13 hours darkness and 11 hours light and from Monday will be 12/12 after I harvested the Gelato Cookie D'ohpe and I can use the tent only for her. Fertilization will happen on the same days. Sunday fun day, Gelato Cookie D'ohpe is harvested. Purple Punch left alone. From tomorrow I will switch the light schedule 12/12. End of the week Purple Punch is 43 cm.

22/1/2022: I made the mistake of added bio bizz grow 1ml earlier in the week which stressed some of the leaves by providing too much nitrogen ( the plants are in miracle grow soil) so quickly switched to bio heaven 2ml only. humidity is kept high lights are still at 24 and have been at 60% all week. the plants have developed large flat leaves which showcase its Indica genetics. as noted some yellowing of the first leaves. will switch gently to bloom at the end of next week leaving it with 3 weeks in veg and the rest in flower. Sea of green.

Day 29 01/08/24 Thursday Another feed today using de-chlorinated tap water pH 6, there now taking 300ml every evening. Day 32 04/08/24 Sunday 300ml De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 today again with Plagron PK13-14 and power buds. All plants doing really well! Had an infestation of leaf minors this week, no idea how, but they are treated and I'll check every 48 hrs on progress of pets. All of them have shot up this week 💚 Day 34 06/08/24 Tuesday De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 today with calmag only. Pre flower stretch initiated, pre flower female sex pistils forming 😍 All happy and healthy!

Often, marijuana growers who have their plants in indoor grow tents or rooms with artificial lighting, take into account parameters such as temperature and relative humidity to maximize plants growth and bloom, thus obtaining abundant harvest with top quality flowers. As we will see later, these factors affect different processes of the plant, such as transpiration or nutrient uptake. However, we usually forget about another important factor that is related to the aforementioned ones: vapor pressure deficit or VPD. Broadly speaking, VPD is the difference between the amount of water vapor that the atmosphere is able to retain (which depends on temperature) and the amount of water vapor contained in it (relative humidity). It is usually measured in kilopascals (kPa). Providing our plants with a correct relationship between temperature and relative moisture will keep us on the right VPD parameters, increasing the plant’s activity and thus improving its growth and showing its full potential during the flowering phase. The ideal would be to adjust both parameters (temperature and humidity) to get the best possible VPD value, so that the development of plants will be amazing.In the chart above you can see the right temperature and moisture values to maximize the development of cannabis plants. The green zone shows you optimal values of VPD, in which it would be ideal to maintain the environment. The orange zone shows correct values, in which plants should not have problems to develop normally. However, red areas show values in which your plants will be very far from hit their full potential, since the relation between temperature and moisture is not optimal. With relatively high values of VPD (between 5 and 12) plants tend to open their stomata and release a considerable amount of water vapor into the environment (increasing their transpiration). This increase in transpiration results in an increase in the plant’s photosynthetic activity, which will need more nutrients and will improve its overall growth, both during growth and bloom. The best range is between 7.5 and 10.5, which we have marked in green. However, we must be careful that VPD is not too high (dark red zone) since the plant would close its stomata to avoid releasing too much water vapor to the environment, which would result in fast dehydration due to excessive transpiration. On the other hand, if VPD is too low (light red zone), the plant will also close its stomata for not releasing more water into the atmosphere, which in this case would be already saturated (it would have reached the maximum water retention capacity in a specific temperature). In this way, reducing transpiration will also reduce photosynthesis, which has a direct impact on the plant’s development and yield. That way, VPD is essential when it comes to offer the best conditions for the development of plants, also to understand its water requirements according to the nutrients used and thus adjust them correctly to meet the grower’s expectations. It's getting serious now 😄 If it can helps you to realize, each plants gots 4 side and a middle, each sides gots 4-6 buds and there's 5-6 buds in the middle, there's 11 plants of 1,60m/5.25ft, how many buds does it makes ?? The correct answer will win 1 like 😅😂😅😂 -[Day 106] WEEK 7 of flowering, the end is close my friends, I'm trying to give you the best shots as possible, I wish I'd could share a good smoke from this crop with you guys ....😉 -[Day 113] WEEK 8 starting, every beginning has an end, this is where the Fall is gonna start. -[Day 115] LADY'S AND GENTLEMEN !!! I've seriously tough the Super Skunks will be ready first, but Vanilla Kush has shown milky tric's after 52 days of Blooming, waiting for some few ambers tric's before starting the Flush. -[Day 121] Hopefully for me I didn't trust in breeders flowering periods I would have f*ck up the crop ... Plants are fading slowly and naturally, I won't need to flush. Checking the trichomes every 4 days, the crop will probably need another 2-3 weeks. All plants are running on water now till the end. It's been a busy week : 👉 I defoliated the plant by removing 8- 10 very big fan leaves, to allow more sunlight to reach the lower branches 👉 I took 2 cutting of my plant(s) 👉 I removed the six lowest branches and used the cuttings to make cuttings. 👉 I started the light deprivation technique by moving the plants to my darkroom to force flowering. 👉👉👉👉Every morning at 8:30 am I move the plants in the greenhouse. 👉👉👉👉Every evening at 8:30 pm I move the plants inside the darkroom. 👉 Once a week I give the plants a liquid booster with OPF 4:2:8 ; Fulvic 25 ; Yuccah ; Biovin liquid ; Earthworm compost extract.
