What’s up fellow Growmies! Got another exciting strain from Canuk Seeds... Cement Shoes! Yep, gonna be sleeping with the fishes. Lol First time trying this strain but so far it’s been a breeze. I kinda took a break from documenting my grows because life got a bit hectic for a bit their, but I’m back and got some more great strains lined up for the future. Gonna try and do an outdoor RDWC setup this summer so stay tuned, gonna be some monsters hopefully! I’ve never seen it done really and I have a few ideas...lol but anyway, back the the cement shoes. So I started them awhile back(not exactly sure when) in my smaller tent(3x4) under a single 1200w King LED grow light. They spent about 2 months in this tent in 3 gal DWC buckets until they outgrew the buckets and tent and need to be moved. Up until this point they were kinda just on auto pilot in the background of my other larger tents. But I was planning on reducing my plant count in my larger 4x8 tents so I decided to go from 4 plants per tent to 2 plants per tent, so we needed some big girls to fill these tents. Lol they were topped at 3-4th node and just let them go from there. They ended up being about 3 feet tall above the 1ft tall buckets. Moved them over too one of my bigger 4x8 tents and added a screen very carefully and ScrOG’d them out. Still waiting on my new Eye HPS Bulb so they are still currently under my 1000w MH. I’ll post all the pics I can find in this weeks log from the veg time and they are about 2 weeks into flower now so I’ll snap some flower pics soon and continue from there. So far 2 plants vegged a bit longer are filling the shoes of 4 plants no problem. Having more space means I also have not had to really defoliate at all. Well that’s it so far, stay tuned for more! Week 3 of my soon-to-be purple ladies! 😻 Everything was going well but I noticed these issues: - The girl on the back is stretching waaaaay more and is less "leafy" than her sister. Perhaps she has more sativa in her DNA? - Leaves on both girls love to twirl around, specially on the girl on the front. - The stem on both girls is still weak and the girl on the front no longer needs the extra help she needed! Weather where I live is getting colder for some odd reason (it should be the opposite, damn!) and the "purple" is... perhaps starting to show a little? Oops, things started from seed on May 20, so that makes these about two months (56 days) In other words, this is week eight and a picture of each plant after defoliation slightly. Ok, so now I got rid of the wrong pics for the wrong week and took current pics for the correct week. In the last few days, major development has happened that is not like any bag seed I’ve ever grown. One of the gelato phenos has colas that are 24 inches or more, that 2 feet! Amazed…2 more weeks. 😜 today was the final deflation and feeding… everything’s done but the waiting to do the cold dark dry closet for two days

Harvest went as well as grow with no issues. Hung plants up to dry after removing fan leaves. Great smell and trichome development is great. Previous harvest sparkles like glitter. Great tasting bud as well! High in THC. Love it!

Week 6 of flower now not really getting the gains i had hoped for but, the buds are nice and dense and as you can see not short of crystals looking frosty, the smell is amazing very pungent. It's going to be a nice smoke no doubt about that, just not a lot of it. I've put the EC up to 1.3 this week see what difference that makes and boosted my light to it's max 600+ I'm assuming this will be a long flower. Any constructive info would be much appreciated.

Auto looks done. Pakistan Valleys look almost done. Candy may need another couple weeks. What do u think i should do guys? Should i wait and harvest all together? Or harvest the auto now, then the kush and lastly the Candy? What's the best way. Also i had been planning to dry them all in my tent. If I do a staggered harvest, i have to build a box or empty out a closet to try and dry them in 😫

Day 140 decided to water everyone one more time with nutrients. Added some Overdrive to the mix for all my outdoor gals. Some probably need it more than others as I think come next week I might be able to harvest a few of my plants. Plus it is like super hot the past few days and have a little breeze pushing a lovely weed scented breeze out front of the house. Hopefully I don’t attract the wrong type of people to visiting my backyard 😱 Day 141 wow on the overdrive kicking in on everyone outside. Noticeable plumping of my buds when I went to take today’s pictures. Also added a few more doweling into the ground to help support her as she gets plumber, and because it was a little breezy last night Day 144 they just got huge and fat overnight. Plus a first for me, a little walk around my beauty

So i have finished LST by end of week 4 and did start with removing low budsights and branches below the cannopy so that i would get more likely big equal compact buds instead of the fluffy not so yum buds. I plan to not defoliate any more than i have right now, unless there's a leave throwing shade onto a potential big budsights i might remove the leave in order to get that budsight maximum light it could have. Growing really is a big learning curve, like by now i have learned so much about to tell signs of the health state of a plant. Like one plant got slightly yellow leave tips, because it got nutrient burnt probably. Like when i noticed the tips i kind of digged into plant health and telling health state by colour, appearance of the leave. Really starting to enjoy the process of growing, like adjusting LST bit by bit, starting to see rewards of it more and more. Also actuelly noticing things that werent the best decision which i can definetly improve on by the next grow. Cant wait to see the end results, i really hope i get terpenes on a decent level. Since for me it became such a enjoyable thing to just smoke weed that actually is tasting lovely

Day 9 and I'm super proud of how things are going! Runtz stopped growing for about 3 days (d5-d8) since she showed signs of stress/deficiency. After the leaves started greening I watered twice with ph 5.9 water only and she started growing again. I will give another "flush" and I will reintegrate nutrients on a lighter dose. Zkittlez looking very healthy and quick to grow. The two Sticky B look really similar for now too - considering to top one in the future and see the difference! Day 13 Runtz is really slow comparing to the others and the deficiency/lock seems to still be there even tho I adjusted my ph to 5.8 and hold on nutes for the last waterings. Zkittlez still working very quicly and considering topping and LST in the next couple of days. The two Sticky are growing pretty much the same and look healthy! I started watering more (from 0.3l to 0.7l per day) since I'v been told that 60% coco requires much more water than I thought. I'm trying to promote root grow watering in circle around the plant, not touching the stem. Seems like they like it so far.

July 5th. Day 42 post flip. Wanna start by saying happy 4th of July to all my American friends and to everyone out there. Unfortunately seeing some signs of what looks like nutrient toxicity. Did a long analysis of what I’ve been giving it and determined it’s been getting a boat load of calcium but not a whole lot of magnesium. This means for this weeks tea it’s getting nothing but recharge and some epsom salts. Was going to defoliate but I’m seeing a lot of Trichomes on the fan leaves so I’m actually going to leave as is. Buds are not the largest but the amount of bud sites and their density makes up for it. The smells coming off this thing are amazing and the concentration of globular Trichomes I’m seeing under magnification has me very excited about the potency of this strain. At this point because of the burn this will be my last tea of the grow. Going to let the microbes and left over matter finish the job for the next 4-5 weeks. God bless and happy growing everyone

This week I’ve decided to defoliate a bit, I just hope she doesn’t die bcs of it. Had to get rid of some yellowing bottom leaves as well as big, sun blocking fan leaves! Cloudy weather all week but coming week some nice sunny days are expected again! She has a nice pungent fruity smell which make me wonder if she isn’t the Sweet Tooth haha.

Day 64. Girls are just brilliant !!! Smell, view - pure joy ! Both fades nicely and i would love to push them two more weeks, but i think i gave last watering and this Wednesday they are chopped, but maybe ... ;))) Day 66. Last light and last photoshoot, nothing to add, they are - Beauties !!! Smell is driving me nuts ;))) Even with carbon filters you can easy smell them 10-20 meters away. Had to order more powerfull and bigger ones ;))) All remaining updates will be in harvest week. 24 hours of darkness and Chop Day !!! P.S. sorry for off-focus, my cam is still faulty ... The stretch is done, and it’s time to start packing on buds. She’s not super smelly, like her older sister before her. 5 or so weeks to go. I just made the last ounce from the last plant into butter. Incredible stuff
