Fo' Twenny Back with another update on this awesome little Northern Light Blue Auto from Delicious Seeds! I have been giving plain tap water run through 2 KDF filters as of 9/5 and I moved her into the bloom room under quantum boards set on 12/12 to make room for the next run and maybe help her finish faster. 9/9 - She seems to be bulking up a bit in her last few days, but I waited a day too long to water and got she started to wilt/droop a bit. So, there are a few dead/brown leaves I've been having to pick out of her and thus begins pre-harvest defoliation. 9/13 - More defoliation and put her in a loosely sealed box to give 48-72 hours darkness. Harvest, coming soon. 9/15 - Checked her today and she could still use another day to dry out. I have never tried the darkness before harvest thing, but a lot of growers swear by it. So, I figure, why not? I will let her go until she is a bit drier and then give her the chop! Thanks for checking out my diary. Season 2 is officially underway and so excited for this grow. Growing 4 plants, but space is a lil limited. Growing in an 80x80cm so using small pots. 2x 8l and then 1x 5l and 1x 4.7l (if you wanna be exact lol). This time I decided to experiment a bit. I'm testing 2 different soils, both in 8l pots, both Purple Punch Auto by Fastbuds, both in airpots. Their names are Lily and Robin. Also testing fabric bags against airpots. Both in same soil, both in 5l pots, both Wild Dwarf Auto by Bulk Seed Bank (that was the plan but now it's 1 WD and another Purple Punch). Their names are Jess and Cece. For this one, Lily, had the seed in water for about 24 hours then in paper towel. Then, into gorilla mix.

this week i started to introduce more P and K. still few weeks to go.

This bugger neatly drank 3L of the solution I had prepared for three weeks!! there some serious growth happening. Defoliation was a good idea at this point to reduce the amount of wasted nutrients and increase the flowering priority. Had to share the last "video" to show my appreciation in learning about LST here on growdiaries, those are pepper plants.

Day 36 start of week 6. Nothing new to report. Day 38 fed girls 2 liters each nutes .Did light defoliation and adjusted ties for the Lst. Moved light strength to around 85 percent and moved light up a couple inches to see how the react.Day 39 watered with gallon distilled water with Cal-mag phed to 6.3. Each took a gallon of water. Pat Benatar is up to 23 inches tall. Blondie is short and extremely bushy.And only a foot tall. Banana Purple Punch is around 22 into tall. Today is day 42 and end of week six. Fed 3 of biggest plants today. Split one gallon distilled water mixed with between the 3 plants.

I may be slowing her growth by having her in a small but...However, she looks healthy and that is the most important part of the grow process.

This week has yielded positive results from the FIM And LST. I topped the internodal new branching that grew from the FIM job as well this week and the 2 extra tops are growing in response on each branching. She is now under a 4 bulb vivosun T5 6500K fixture and is responding very well to the light changes. Her stems are begging to give off terpines when rubbed. She smells of tart sweet lemons and diesel fuel haha. I am very happy about this grow and am expecting preflower to begin soon.

Seedsman Auto Lemon is the 4th round of seeds started in my perpetual garden of auto flowers. So far this plant is growing strong. I expect it to start stretching this week. I also decided to try topping this girl today and will probably bend her next week. Growing in organic composted 'super soil', no additional nutrients added yet. Also as you can see in the pictures there is a 26w CFL (100w equivalent) about 6 inches away - this also helps provide some side lighting to the older plants. Week 8 - Oct 26 to Nov 2nd Smooth week! A bit of a late November heat wave brought my room up to near summer temperatures 😵 Crisped the tips a bit with the heat and upping the nutes. This advanced nutes stuff is very salty for a soil grow and even the small amounts reported above, split between the 4 plants, still end up getting to the fan leaves. Using Molasses and plain water feeds between nute feeds this stuff is still very touchy. The more I type about it, the more I realize it wasn't that smooth 😂 Still the best base/biggest four plants I've had and the Chem-Bomb Autos are way fatter bud wise compared to the Chocolate Mint Og Autos but they were a little ahead in development even though they all germinated in the same week.
