Mid week update: did the defoliation over a couple of days. she looks gooood. so many lovely buds. Stretch started this week! waaaaattttt. she's once again one BUSHY lady. was advised to limit pruning once flowering started, but things are getting out of control 😂. think i'm going to have to do some ladyscaping as a mid week update. Slow growth as expected with the lower set point on the reservoir temp (19 C) - as a result of a slight smell. still has the smell, but nothing in the water on on the sides of the reservoir so not going to worry for now. Bought another air stone and need to install ASAP. SO many roots and with sooooo much volume that the one stone just gets swamped. pretty impressive root system. Shout out to all the growmies that have helped me on this journey. Things are good.

Strain very resistant, although I had some problems with this, unfortunately having grown up in Outdoor the bad weather ripped away almost all the sunbathing, the plant weakened and had problems with aphids. Despite this she managed to complete the flowering cycle, harvested not abundant given all the problems mentioned above, but the buds she produced are quality with a scent of blueberry mixed with really strong fruit. Small but compact buds covered with resin 🤙

As seeing some deficiency pop up after flush. Also some stress from light. Added dome Cal mag, Alaska fish fertilizer and it started cleaning up. Added another king Brite 240 raised the lights and set them at 45000 lux evenly accross the tent. Everything looks like it's doing better. Defoliated a massive amount on most of the plants which you'll see in week 9. After I did it the 2 smallest plants started taking off. Dropped off c02 till the recovered. Only getting co2 @1100 ppm for 6 hours, 2 hours after they wake up to start. Still around 600ppm when lights go out and then down to 380 during dark.

Fine tuning the heater temp, but all seems stable now. Sorry about the pics with the grow light, I will figure out how to filter it. Compared to other White Widow diaries, my girls seems to be performing normally.

Hey now, hope everyone is having a great weekend. Good week for the Red Hot Cookie, she is probably the smallest of the 5 strains, but she looks green and healthy, Day 3 from getting wet. I did start prepping the Coco Coir today by flushing down to .4 EC and then soaking in water with an EC of 2.0 with Cal Mag and a PH of 6.8. I will let it soak until the seedlings are ready to be transplanted hopefully by next weekend or shortly thereafter. The weather in my region is perfect for cultivating seedlings as it is fairly hot and humid and I only have the Spectrum X running at 30% so it is not putting out much heat and I also have a humidifier running in the tent on low which is maintaining a RH of around 68%. I also have the AC Infinity fan kick on here and there just to keep some fresh air in the tent but no real issues with heat. I have run several Sweet Seeds Auto Strains in the past with excellent resutls, but this is my first run of one of their photoperiods so I am excited to see what she can do. I plan to build a mainline and flip as soon as all 5 mainlines are built, hopefully around week 7. This Medic Grow light is perfect for a 5X5, and the AC Infinity 8" exhaust does an excellent job of keeping the tent cool. I will set up an auto feeding system which consists of a reservoir, and some 1/2" tubing that is hooked to a submersible pump in the reservoir and set to feed for 1 minute every 6 hours through halo feeders connected to ball valves to adjust the flow. The runoff then flows via gravity to a 5 gallon bucket in the tent with a shallow pan condensate pump that pumps the runoff out of the tent when it gets above 3 inches to another reservoir. I have been growing fruit and vegetables for over 40 years and I have recently switched to high frequency fertigation in Coco Coir for my tomatoes as well, as I believe this growth medium combined with this technique is the safest, most environment friendly, and foolproof method of getting monster yields no matter what crop you are growing, and I have seen massive results in both cannabis and tomatoes. My goal is to have these ladies transplanted by around day 14-17, and have the first toppings done within 48 hours or so of transplant. I hope everyone has a safe and peaceful weekend. So I had a little burn from overfeeding but it has since corrected itself and am only using water ph to 6.6.

Special Queen looks like she has 3 leaves, Blueberry coming in well. Did a bunch of LST and some super-cropping to bend the Sativa down

Oh man I'm excited about this one now. I think I may try and fill this tent out with this just this one plant. Earth box and manual scrog on this Gelato. After getting her in there and realizing how easy she is to bend over and how easy it will be to get a monster plant with this set up, I'm super stoked. This will probably end up being a super long veg time but that's okay. This is exciting for me. Something different.

Week went good they all flowering Nicely something is wrong with app I think it changed my numbers last week and I think a week is missing but it’s ok I defoliated this one plant for the 3rd time she will need one more then lollipopping everything below 2/3 of top I been doing some experimenting with ppms so u may see some tips burnt and they are flowering so fan leaves are yellowing on a few but just normal stuff I pushed them up to about 2200 ppms to see what they can take and they drank it no worse for wear besides some burnt tips also I do swap between mammoth p recharge and dynomyco like once a week just to see if I can see difference and what works better I have to say these genetics are some of the best autos I dealt with I want to do some of fastbuds. Ff strains to see what I can do with them but we will get there when we get there also don’t mind little babies in there those are moms these being autos it’s only place I can put rn happy growing

Just got done with trimming the 4x4 @greenhouseseedco Super Silver Haze / @blimburnseeds Silver Surfer Haze tent. The final yield is exactly 1000g plus some (kind of a lot)that I smoke in the last 2 weeks 😃 Also got 6, gallon size ziploc bags filled with good quality trim for concentrate. To be honest I was expecting a little more but keeping in mind that this grow I did not supplemented with bottled CO2 I think I’m good with the results. Definitely I enjoyed a lot this grow and I’ve learned even more.

With great joy I will start my second season growing cannabis. I hope to learn from some small mistakes from the first season where I was surprised by my performance as a first-time sailor cultivating the BlueDream strain. This season I left the 4 seeds of GorillaGlue 36hrs in a pot of water to break the dormancy. After that I used the napkin technique for more 42 hrs. So I put each one in a 5-gallon airpot, as they are automatic and go to harvest in the same pot. After 24hrs in the vase the first 2 little leaves came out. I made a homemade dome with a 2-gallon water bottle, cutting it into strips and lining it with plastic with some holes to keep the humidity high during this initial phase. We entered the first week of cultivation and unfortunately due to an oversight I got confused in the fertilizer table and clearly the dreaded overfert happened. I did a watering only with water to try to remove the excess fertilizer let's hope it works.

End of week 4 and this orange sherbet is finally pumping and has almost caught up to her sister (which I stunted this week 🤦‍♂️) I haven't defoliated or trained this girl, im going to leave her el natural for now. On day 27 I added a big dose of compost tea and she loved it, she's now praying to the lights and I'm stoked she's stoked Today on day 28 I repositioned the thermometer in the tent as it was too far from the plants, the girls were getting baked and not the good kind, they're all loving life now.
