Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. So these ladies are in full swing of flower and the stretch I have tucked any branches I can under my netting too spread out the plants and too fill the tents canapy they are growing about 1 or 2 cm every other day at the moment so tucking under is the order of the week Really into the massive stretch now I am having too move the climate control probe and thermostat every day now and these girls will soon cover the WiFi camera too , probably growing around 2 or 3 cm per 24 hours at this stage , " day 4 of week 5 " The tent is filling up nicely but the fbt7 is a clear winner so far , be is my cock up of snapping the main stem and fixing it ? The ftb7 is double the size of all the other 3 plants and is a very nice little bush , the smoothie has been very consistently healthy and vigorous and is around 22cm now and is one I did not lst , the BlackBerry has finally woken up and is now the same height as the others another plant I didn't lst , the c1 started very vigorously and was strong , them week 3 started too show signs of very early flower , she is now is fully fledged flower at week 5 and looking fantastic , and I was lucky enough too get all the side branches out and bend over the main cola too the netting and has made up for in lst what it lacked in size due too the early flowering ,

Big round of defoliation. Very excited to see stretch, they seem to have entered it after a few days delay. Been clearing up larf in rounds as well, they're not quite lollipopped but I've developed my colas. Most smaller tertiary branches are gone, unless theyre sturdy and not going to crowd. instead of completely removing offending tertiary branches, i have left a single node with a single growth tip on each to yield bud. Trying to remove only the weak, malformed growth and stuff that crowds.... want long, thick colas. Recharge, fresh Actively Aerated Compost Tea w/ alfalfa meal, organic cal mag only, sometimes just spring water and cal mag ph'd.

Hello growers and tokers! 👋 👩‍🌾 🧑‍🌾.🔥💨 There has been a couple changes this week!! First there was a big defoliation done, I cleaned the bottom of the plant. All the growth that wouldn't amount to anything because the light doesn't penetrate that low. Also took off the biggest fan leaves to give more light penetration. Then finally switched to 12/12.. Just 36 hours after the defoliation she looked fuller than before. Leaves pointing up and out. By how she's doing I'm sure she'll stretch a good bit these next few weeks. Great reaction to the defoliation. I'm still watering every other day, After the defoliation I watered with only Enzymes 2ml/L to clean the roots a bit then started with the nutrientes again. I dropped the amount of grow nutrients from 3ml/L to 1ml/L and started adding bloom nutrientes 2ml/L for now. I'll slowly be upping the bloom nutrientes and after week 2 I'll no longer add grow nutrients. That's it for this week. Stay tuned to see how she flowers. Stay safe!

So week 5 n all well iv added a 300w full spectrum light as well as LED. All look healthy and a stretching little by little. Trimmed them all. And took clones.. Fingerscrossed they work.. Happy growing ppl.

It rained steadily yesterday and today, so my watering duty was taken care of by Mother Nature! 5/26- The diatomaceous earth that I spread around the Wedding Cheesecake FF along with spraying her down every other day with Neem Oil, and every three days with an organic insecticidal soap, seem to have taken care of the attacks on her leaves which has improved her vigor noticeably. 5/28- I watered the FastBuds Wedding Cheesecake FF today via garden hose and continued to train her branches through the trellis net. At this point she's taken up about half of the trellis net and is constantly putting out new shoots! 5/30- Today I watered again as the weather has been really warm without any rain. I'll be getting ready to top dress her soon, probably in the next few days with some 4-4-4 and worm castings, then she'll really start to take off! So we're in week 3 veg , they've mostly outgrown their mutated leaves now and looking strong.

Chopped and drying in the mess rack, will update in about two weeks, with dry weight and smoke/flavor/high profile. She was a great plant to grow and I'm excited to smoke this strain! Update June 18, amazing smoke and flavor! Dry weight came in at 45.5 grams, 44 on th scale as I removed 1.5g for the smoke test. Blue Dream is impressive, great color in the buds, nice high to go along with it!

Vigorous Males, Strong Clones, and Bud Formation This week was full of action in the grow! Two out of the three males are in full bloom, and I’m actively collecting pollen. They are impressive plants, with strong structures and large pollen sacs. If everything stays on track, I believe the females will be ready for pollination in about a week. Observations: All 18 clones have successfully rooted! Some have already entered the vegetative stage and are receiving supplemental light at nightfall to keep their growth steady. The plants responded very well to the light defoliation I did earlier. Now, the buds are starting to take shape, showing great progress in the flowering phase. To optimize this stage, I spaced out the pots, ensuring better airflow and increased light penetration, which should support full and healthy flowering. This week, I plan to top off the pots with more substrate, ensuring the plants have enough space and nutrients to reach their full potential. Next Steps: Keep monitoring the males and collecting pollen at the right time. Watch the females closely to determine the ideal moment for planned pollinations. Observe the clones' growth and adjust care as needed. The grow is on the right track, and expectations for the coming days are high!
