Week 6 Veg Report – Runtz We Meet Again! Another week, another step forward in our Eternity Grow Cup 2025 journey, and oh boy, do we have a lot to unpack! These Runtz girls are showing their potential, and we’re dialing in every little detail to ensure they thrive. Let’s dive deep into everything that happened this week! Cal-Mag Deficiency Adjustment – Pheno #5’s Special Needs This week started with a close inspection of our phenos, and we noticed that Pheno #5 was showing early signs of a calcium/magnesium deficiency. Whether it was slightly off VPD levels or this particular plant being more demanding, we decided to correct it by increasing the dose of RO Water Conditioner. Now, while this isn’t a direct substitute for Cal-Mag, it does contain trace amounts that can help stabilize the situation. 🔬 Understanding Cal-Mag Deficiency: Calcium and magnesium are essential secondary nutrients. Calcium strengthens cell walls, preventing issues like tip burn and weak stems, while magnesium plays a critical role in chlorophyll production, allowing plants to efficiently absorb light energy. 💡 Signs of Deficiency: • Yellowing between veins (Magnesium) • Rust spots on leaves (Calcium) • Slow growth and weak stems ⚡ How We Address It: • Slightly increasing RO Water Conditioner to see if trace minerals help • Keeping an eye on overall nutrient uptake to ensure no lockout • Monitoring VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) closely to optimize nutrient absorption Let’s see how she reacts next week! Branching Development – Pheno #2 Leading the Race All five phenos are thriving, but Pheno #2 is showing the most aggressive branching, pushing outward faster than her sisters. However, overall, we’re seeing very uniform growth, which speaks volumes about the stability of these genetics. 🌱 What is Branching & Why It Matters? Branching is the plant’s way of expanding its canopy, increasing surface area for photosynthesis, and maximizing potential bud sites. Well-structured branches allow better airflow, light penetration, and more even growth—key for a successful high-yield harvest. ⚖️ Topping vs. Leaf Bending – The Training Choice Instead of topping, I’ve decided to go with leaf bending for now. This method allows for gentle manipulation of the plant’s growth without causing major stress. Once we introduce the SCROG (Screen of Green) net, this training will help maximize the canopy spread. Moving to the TrolMaster Ecosystem – A Game Changer Big move this week—our Runtz girls officially transitioned into the TrolMaster Ecosystem, and let me tell you, they are absolutely loving it! Great start to the week. Buds starting to develop. Introduced Unsulphered Blackstrap Molasses this week in the feeding. It was freezing for the first time 11C at night. Night time is starting to scare me, it gets humid and cold. I might have to bring the whole operation inside

The temperatures, humidity, height, and watering volume(if measured) in grow conditions are all averaged for the week. The pH is soil pH. Any watering done by me is well water which is 7.6 pH and 50° F. Any listed nutrients are ml/gallon of soil spread evenly across the top of the soil. Day 1 we had a high temperature of 93°F with sunny clear skies. I watered 4-5 gallons each pot twice, from the well. Day 2 we had a high temperature of 95°F with clear sunny skies. It was super hot today. I watered each pot 4-5 gallons twice. Day 3 we had a high temperature of 95°F. It felt like 97°F. We had super clear sunny skies. The girls are loving the sunshine and slightly less humidity. I watered twice @4-5 gallons per pot. Day 4 we had a high temperature of 90°F with super clear sunny skies. The temperature was more comfortable at 90° today because we had less humidity. I watered 4-5 gallons per pot from the well. Day 5 we had a high temperature of 81°F with partly cloudy skies. The girls are still thirsty. I watered 4-5 gallons per pot once. These girls roots have tapped through these pots and into the soil. Unless it's just super hot watering once is enough. Day 6 we had a high temperature of 83° with clear sunny skies. I watered 4-5 gallons once per pot. Day 7 we had a high temperature of 79°F with clear sunny skies. I watered once 4-5 gallons of well water per pot. The girls are thirsty but the heat isn't sucking the water out of the pots. The girls are in full vegative phase 2 and continue to gain height. This week was a great success. The girls really stretched. The middle height plant is at 100 inches. I'm on my ladder on my tip toes and I can't reach the very top with the tape. The tallest plant looks about 12" taller. The weather was very pleasant. We had a few hot days but mostly cool fall type weather. The defoliation and treatment of powdery mildew with Growers Ally fungicide ended that problem. These plants do have a high level of resistance but not immunity. I'll continue to treat once a week. Most growers don't talk about their fungal pathogens or treatment of them. Outdoors, if your plants aren't immune (many fastbuds I've grown from seed have been) then this is an issue you'll deal with if you have cool humid nights. There are many treatments and preventatives and some are scarey. My grows are all organic and I carefully chose Growers Ally fungicide as I smoke these plants and don't want anything scarey in(systemic) or on them. Thanks for stopping by and checking out my grow.

It’s day 27 from seed for all the plants in the photo sea of green. Let’s call it the battle of the strains summer 2025. All of the plants are starting to have visible differences. I’m already starting to tell witch plants are more sensitive than others.

This lady smells suuper sweet and strong, very stinky aromas coming from this buds, absolutely gorgeous.

Week 4! - Still on track! So far so good. I repotted both plants into their final pots and filled them up with canna coco. Since the weather has been warm and sunny they have grown exponentially and have no signs of slowing down. Watering has been more frequent this week as it's been warmer but I have the feeling that I will need to water slightly less now that they have been repotted in the Canna Coco - this soil seems to hold the moisture alot more. I inserted some small bamboo sticks for support which seem to be doing the trick nicely, no problems. Any tips or advice going forward would be appreciated. Still pretty hands off and no feed/nutrients have been added - just good ol water.

Days 36-48 weeks 6-7 of pre flower day 2-15 Plant is responding really well having 14hrs of light under my FC3000, and I've been using IR to give my fems extra flowering time & this has suited my Autoflowers really well. New nutrients i see huge improvements in all of my Autos not only from MSNL but crop wide. Root Zone increased 3x easily. Been organic/mineral you need to PH to 6.7 for soil. Are ideal 6-6.1 ph in-between coco/soil and you adjust as needed. Really happy with their push for my plants. She has put on a nice bit of height. Her smell is very new to my grows, as I've not grown a purple haze or smoked it in years. Fruity, like a soda, typical PH, can't wait to taste this girl. (She's currently just been taken out of my tent into dry room, I'll hang her in a few hours) FEEDINGS/DLI DLI is around 40-41 700-730 ppf over 14hrs with UV-A calculated in. Core NPK feeds have been only 1x every 5-7 days 450-550 ppm, next week I'll start adding there pk /bloom booster. Master root & everything else brings the general ppm per day 7-1000 with enzymes & master root having huge EC change to water. (Note? This is a different kind of EC, bacteria/enzymes & amino acids have a high EC input but aren't counted as core NPK feeds, which have been 450-500 "master bloom parts A+B) Thanks to MSNL & XPERT NUTRIENTS for their support & sponsorships. The stretch phase is officially over, and now the plant is shifting its energy toward trichome production!🌱 I’ve started noticing a light scent developing, though it’s still not very intense yet. I expect that to change in the coming weeks. I did a light defoliation to improve airflow and light penetration, and I plan to do another round in about two weeks. Interestingly, the fan leaves are starting to take on a slight reddish hue—curious to see how that develops! 💪😊 So far, everything is looking great, and I’m excited to watch the buds bulk up in the next phase!

These girls got left alone for a week and they are growing great so far. I have both of them in a 5 gallon together and they seem happy so far. First time growing two plants in one pot.

Hey y'all! I'm back with an early update because my biggest two plants are flowering! Hindu Kush looks like she's gonna grow some really thick buds. I'm super excited to see it flower. The GSC pistils are some clear, some amber. It makes me really excited for how she's gonna look as she develops buds. I wanted to give a better tour of how the plants look so I took a video to share as well! I am super excited, and I'm starting to get impatient quite frankly! Lol! But really, I can't wait to watch my plants grow day in and day out. I need to find a way to control the humidity, as it is getting hotter in my home and when my tent is closed the humidity climbs up to 82% and some leaves that touch condensate on each other. Not good! I leave my tent open for hours at a time to tame the humidity but this is not a full time solution. if anyone has suggestions please let me know! I will be asking a question soon on it!
