Winter FastBuds Grow 2021

Mr_ZAF_Budz So this last week we were hit with a cold front and the outside temps dropped super low for sunny South Africa 🇿🇦 which also affect inside temps. Nevertheless the ladies turned some decent growth in 1 week and hopefully things pick up a bit more this next week. I gave a diluted veg feed on day 13 and they seem to have responded well but I may have overwatered them a little. For this next week I will slowly start increasing the veg feed and hopefully watch the ladies flourish🤞🏼

Mr_ZAF_Budz Hello All,, So week 3 brought some warmer weather but the growth is still not where I want it to be at 21 days. I did notice on day 20 that the Girl Scout Cookies, LSD-25 and Six Shooter showed signs of pre-flower which is about a week to week and a half too early. This most probably due to stress from the cold weather. Nevertheless I increased the veg feed and topped the six shooter on day 20. Also did some LST on day 21 to the Gorilla Cookies, Gorilla Glue and the LSD-25 but only removed 2 of the big fan leaves to the Girls Scout Cookies. Experimenting a little 🤓 I struggled a little with the LST as the inter-nodal spacing is so tight… not sure if this due to the new CMH light keeping them compact or if it was the cold weather from the previous weeks. This coming week I will introduce a light bloom feed with the veg feed and hopefully they ladies will stretch over the next 2 weeks before putting on some weight🤞🏼

Mr_ZAF_Budz Hello Canna Fans, So week 4 has ended with a slight increase in growth and the ladies have began to stretch in the last 48 hours. Mr_ZAF_Budz Hello All, So the end of week 5 has arrived and the ladies are flourishing. The 1 Gorilla Glue which was late to show signs of flower finally did so on day 33🎉. I gave them all a banana FFJ and humid acid tea on day 32 which they seemed to have responded very well to. I have been slightly defoliating 2 or 3 leaves per plant over the last week inoder to allow more light penetration and hopefully more bud sites will appear. Mr_ZAF_Budz Hello Canna Fam, So the end of week 6 has arrived and the ladies are in flower officially. I did some defoliating to all 6 plants as some where very bushy, hopefully they respond well and don’t slow down too much on the flowering. Nevertheless now the flower fun begins 🤩

Mr_ZAF_Budz Hello Canna Fam, Firstly thank you for stopping past and having a look at my grow🤜🏼🤛🏼 Today marks the start of week 8 and some of the ladies are slowly frosting up. The 2 Gorilla Glues which have been a bit behind in growth have finally stretched and started to flower officially. There is still along way for the 2 and they may flower for up to 15 weeks if I look at other diaries with a similar delayed growth. Today is the start of spring here in sunny South Africa 🇿🇦 and as things warm up we should hopefully get better growth. Thanks again for stopping by and happy growing y’all✌️🏼

Mr_ZAF_Budz Hello Canna Fam, So the end of week 8 has arrived and the ladies have started to bud up😎 I did a bit of defoliation last night to the Six Shooter and the Girl Scout Cookies as they were very bushy. Hopefully I wasn’t too heavy handed with the plucking and the growth does not slow down too much. The LSD-25 and the Gorilla Cookies are the most developed in terms of bud size and trichomes production but the Girl Scout Cookies is closing in nicely. Mr_ZAF_Budz Hello Canna Fam Firstly thank you for stopping by and I hope you enjoy my diary entry. So week 9 has come to an end and the ladies are slowly stacking on the buds. There is a bit of either calcium, manganese or magnesium deficiency after the late flowering gorilla glue finished her stretch but I think I have managed to correct the problem. Some of the buds on the LSD-25 seem to be foxtailing, possibly due to light stress and being so close to CMH light. The trichome production is really starting to build nicely and I will start to flush in a weeks time for 2 weeks, therefore pushing the ladies to 12 or 13 weeks before harvest. The late flowering Gorilla Glue will most likely only be ready to harvest in another 4-5 weeks. Thanks again and happy growing✌️🏼

Mr_ZAF_Budz Hello Canna Fam, So week 10 has come to an end and the ladies are doing well. I started to feed only PH’ed water yesterday and hopefully as EC levels drop the girls should go into overdrive and hopefully push to increase bud density before they get the chop. I have been struggling some days with extremely low levels of humidity so the environment has not been perfect but nevertheless things aren’t looking too bad. The late blooming Gorilla Glue will still be feed nutrients until she is ready for flush, roughy another 2-3 weeks. I hope you all enjoy the progress and happy growing to you all.✌️🏼

Mr_ZAF_Budz Hello Canna Fam, So week 11 has come to end and the ladies are smelling great! I did a partial harvest to the Gorilla Cookies, LSD-25 and the Girl Scout Cookies as the trichomes were ready to the top half of the buds. I raised the pots slightly and will leave the rest of the buds to mature a bit more before I do the final harvest. I must say the trichome product on these FastBuds is just amazing! Mr_ZAF_Budz Hello Ladies and Gentlemen😎 So my grow is coming closer to an end and so far it has not been so bad for a winter grow. As of 3 days ago I completed the partial harvests to the LSD-25, Gorilla Cookies and the Girl Scout Cookies. The late blooming Gorilla Glue will go for another 2-3 weeks and the six shooter should get the chop next week marking 13 weeks since breaking ground. I trimmed some of the 1st half of the partial harvest last night and the Gorilla Cookies seemed to have preformed well with nice sticky dense buds. Mr_ZAF_Budz Hello Canna Fam, So I missed a week diary entry so I will do week 13 and then 14 sometime tomorrow. Anyway I harvested the six shooter and the bud structure is very mutated so I am not expect much solid bud. I’m my next entry I will update the dry weight yields and reviews to the harvested Gorilla Cookies, LSD-25 and Girl Scout Cookies😍 For now the late blooming Gorilla Glue is thickening while she flushed and the EC levels drop.

Mr_ZAF_Budz Hello Canna Fam😎 So it’s been 14 weeks and I finished drying and weighing my harvest. Not too bad for some and terrible for some others. Nevertheless the following dry weights are as follows… Gorilla Cookies: 76g of bud and 18g of popcorn buds Girls Scout Cookies: 55g and 22g LSD-25: Six Shooter: 21g and 36g A quick update on the late blooming Gorilla Glue, she is stacking up nicely with another week to go before the chop. Mr_ZAF_Budz Hello Canna Fam🌱 So week 15 came to an end and the Gorilla Glue is stacking nicely for a late bloomer. I have been flushing her for the last 10 days and in a few more she will finally be harvest. I hope you all enjoy the diary entry and please feel free like it if you do.

Mr_ZAF_Budz So 113 days later and my late blooming Gorilla Glue had been partially harvest. I left the lower half of the buds hoping they will mature further as a lot of the pistils were still white. With a 80% loss in weight I am expecting 120-140g’s of dry bud😎 The buds are super big and super dense with a lovely smell to match it. I hope you enjoy the update and give a like if you do. Peace ✌️🏼
