Welp, These took a Bit longer than my Cream Cookies and still didn't fill out quite like I thought they would.. But they are still a very beautiful strain and a joy to have grown. They smell stronger and way more lovely than the cream cookies thou just a beautiful aroma I'd really like to grow these again Indoors where I can control them easier. (Sadly they dried into wispy nothings and we turned them all into bubble hash) #3 took the hit of some aphids and ended up in a frozen hash pile in our fridge along with two cream cookies from the run. It's frozen weight combined was 203g. *will update with dry*

This week was crazy with the weather for couple of days....2 girls didn't see much of light or water like one took it lil better than one.....the other one was left on the battlefield n she sure put up a fight

Gold Sativa is doing well. I did a solution change today, and adjusted nutrition levels. She is not showing and good signs of flowering I could get a picture of. Next update should be better. Back again!!! After 2 rounds of Spider Mites in my old grow area, I moved my grow area to a completely opposite area of my house - from the attic to the basement. I'm near the end of the first crop of autos that have grown in the basement and I've had NO bug issues at all! 😁 This diary is primarily to see what happens when growing Fast Buds Cream Cookies outdoors and to enter in their 2020 outdoor grow contest. I started 4 Cream Cookies seeds indoors a week ago and they all popped. I started the seeds directly in soil. Personally, I find starting directly in soil works best for me. I'm going to take 2 of the seedlings outdoors in about a week and keep 2 indoors. Indoors they will be growing under a 315w CMH (LEC) in my 2' x 4' tent. Outdoors they will get full sun in our garden. They will be growing in ProMix and I will be feeding Fox Farm nutes as well as Recharge. I'll be feeding at 1/2 strength from the recommended feeding schedule. I'm excited to have a new diary up on GD again. And excited to see how the outdoor crop compares to the indoor. My prediction is that the outdoor crop will grow larger and faster. I've been seeing insane growth spurts outdoors in the past week. I almost took the seedlings outdoors over the weekend, but I'm glad I didn't - it got down to 34 degrees last night. That probably would have killed the seedlings. Stay tuned... p.s. The big girls in the tent are almost ready to harvest and include Seedsman Sour Diesel Haze Auto (nice fat, dense cola), Fast Buds Gelato, Dinafem Critical+ Auto and Female Seeds Auto Bubble. I also have Basil, Oregano, Mint and Chives growing in the tent acting as bug deterrents.

Monday, March 1st 2 of 3 Seedlings showing up, the 3rd may have Problems,,, i can see it, but it looks like its wilting i gave some aloejuice around the Seedling and covered it again... we will see The other ones looking good, and will develop good Friday, March 5th Now all show up and we can start counting Weeks

here they are! 2 beauties. I plan to apply all existing stress techniques to them. topping LST HST Mainlining and so on. Most likely I hang them in one pot. I have experience growing 2 plants in 1 pot and it works great.

Purple punch is nuts, super frosty. Even some fan leaves are covered with tricomes. I believe I will flush it very soon, maybe in the next watering. Gorilla punch beautiful plant with some purple nugs. They are getting really fat Mimosa cake still getting more and more white pistils and I hopping the nugs get fat 🙏🏼

Amber trichs are just starting to show up and for my preference that's my Q... Put em in the dark for couple days and flip em upside down ;P really excited... Took a little sample off each one to check for seeds and problems ect. And u know I couldn't go without sparking up... Lemme just say... Every cookies strain except the fried banana tastes amazing right off the bush... (That's not to say fried banana isn't good either just had problems and it hermied and freaking got my orange cake along with it ... Haven't found anything on the big Z or spilt paint but u can't about bet ur bottom it happened to them too... So that didn't thrill me... But for the most part these cookies have been really good to me... Big Z smells like absolute zkittles and u can really smell the runtz too! All followed by a sweet earth smell that just lingers for ever! It's great! All n all pretty stoked! I'll get a total of the 3 plants... Fried banana is going to hash and I'll press it to some oil ...

Harvesting a little earlier than when i would like, because of the rise of bugs that appeared last days due to climate conditions... this year temperatures are oscillating more than usual having 1 rainy week, then a sunny hot one just after it rains.. In fact, last year, it did not rain until November So the plagues were on the leaves, mildew powdery(just a coulpe of leaves),aphids(like just in the leaves of one cola), and some caterpillars almost ready to get out and start eating all the buds, (hopefully i cut that day).. Sounds bad, but the parts of the plant affected was only the leaves... and means that a proper cleaning is coming so removed all the leaves and the result is what you can see, that bonsai.. Spotted 2 dead material points in big colas, that i removed after drying.. I did not weight the plant wet because of the smell that i had on my house that day, things went very tense, i was a bit busy, and even, it has not much sense to me, im better weighting the dry material. So at the end i think im having very good quality, and the affected parts are less than i thouth at first, so im very happy with the results.. On the scales are the best buds, the rest is the lower part of the colas that were less developed so im doing hash with that part.. Plants that are too far from an adequate light source will respond by accelerating stem growth in order to get closer to the lamp themselves. Especially when there are many other plants. A lack of lighting can easily cause overcrowding in a growing chamber, reducing the steady progression of your crop and the distance ratio between your bulbs and your plants. To address this problem, be sure to provide enough light to your plants to prevent stem growth. At the same time, you should not position your lights too close to your plants either since this would also result in an over-stretching of the stems and in some cases, the loss of your crop. In addition to the distance between the light source and the plant, the type of light you will use also affects the size of the stretching of your crop. The orange and red lights encourage stretching and result in thinner, larger stems. And conversely, blue light stimulates a growth of thicker stems and a smaller size. When a species is ready to enter the vegetative phase and undergo its most drastic stretching period, metal halide lamps can be used to deter far too long stems. THE HEAT Heat is another essential element that can determine the stretch size of your plants during vegetation. Temperatures above 27 degrees push the stems to lengthen more and more and will propel the potential of sativas to push as high as possible. Heat lamps that are positioned too close to plants create an intolerable environment that will grow large, soft plants that will potentially wobble until they fall and lose flowers in its fall. OTHER CAUSES OF STRETCHING There are multiple variables that can lead to the stretching of plants beyond what could normally be expected of the plant. Environmental stressors resulting from transplantation (when a plant passes from one pot to another) can cause the plant to return to shock. This will eventually trigger a reaction causing a stretch. Cannabis plants that are not grown in decent conditions or do not receive enough nutrients will respond in a variety of ways and this includes stretching. Crops that are not spaced far enough apart are likely to stretch to sting the light to other plants. Due to extreme proximity, the plants will fight among themselves to reach the light, forcing them to expand as much as possible throughout the crop. HOW TO CONTROL STRETCHING DURING FLOWERING Stretching during flowering, you guessed it, takes place when you move your plants from the vegetation stage to the flowering stage. This is a completely normal reaction, as your plants are preparing to bear the weight of their heads. Stretching of a plant at the beginning of flowering varies widely; some plants can double in height while others grow only a few centimetres. There are, however, two main variables that can give you at least an idea of how your plants are stretching during flowering, and how much. Here are these two variables: Variety: Genetics has the greatest impact on the size of your plant. In general, sativa varieties stretch more than indicas and tend to develop long, slender stems. Light: Some lights, such as HPS, are more likely to encourage stretching. In addition, great distances between your canopy and your lights will cause the plants to stretch as they try to get closer to the light source. Stretching during flowering usually lasts the first two weeks of the phase. To minimize stretching, keep your lights between 10 (for CFL) and 30 centimetres (for HID) of your canopy. Finally, choose indica varieties if you have a smaller growing space. HOW TO AVOID STRETCHING In many cases, you can expect your cannabis plants to stretch during the flowering phase. Keeping that in mind helps to make a plan in case your species ends up growing much more than you could have imagined. If the information is available, get information on the standard size of your species and compare it to the size of your growing space taking into account the necessary distances between the bulbs and the plants. TRAFFIC While outdoor crop operations benefit from natural air to naturally limit stretching, indoor crops must assume the maintenance of air circulation within a confined space. Basic ventilation is enough to help the cannabis stems strengthen and become thicker rather than too high. In this way, the plants continue to grow vigorously without reaching heights and at the same time, your tolerance ceiling. MANUAL INTERVENTION For growers who want to get their hands dirty, there are physical procedures that can be done to reduce stretching. Similar to the natural effect that the wind has on cannabis plants, manually bending the leaves and stems will cause tiny cracks in the plant's tissues that will cause the plant to focus on regenerating its wounds instead of its vertical growth. THE TOPPING Topping is a form of manual intervention on cannabis to influence its performance, shape or size. In essence, topping is a process in which a new node is cut, growing from the plant to reduce its size and create a "v"-shaped notch that will eventually form two heads. Topping may be an effective measure to combat stretching, but it is important not to do so when the flowering phase begins. In most cases, an abnormal stretch of cannabis plants will not completely destroy your crop. In fact, stretching can indeed help increase your performance. For growers with a growing operation large enough to contain tall plants, stretching can increase the total yield of a species with more vertical space for head formation. In both cases, stretching can easily be planned in advance and there are multiple solutions to help you with this problem which is all too common. May the force be with you 💪

11th week Only water. The plant starts to fade a little... the smell is increasing. My dog, as well as the cats, is also very interested in the plant 😅

So the cbg pretty much didn't make it all 3 tries. There Is still a little bit on one plant of the cbg in pictures. I doubt it makes it. So I stuffed the air tube thru it a week ago, and I stuck a home brewed sour diesel from oasis seeds, with north lights from seedsman both autoflowers. So far its growing, but slow. It should continue. I just set ph, and a light nutrition feed after that. She is propped up to allow the straw access to air on both ends. I forget in these little potters that extra air helps a ton. Is likely why I did not have any luck with the CBG. I will get it again when I win some seeds. She is under the Mars hydro FC4800 light. So far its alive. Had to defoliate again in week 5 day 32 so far we defoliated 3 times , day 19, day 26, and day 32. Start of week 6, this next 2 weeks the plants should triple in size and start crowning,and all defoliation are done.

Canopy filling out nicely. Still on the veg feed but flower is nearly out so just gonna too up the tanks then change to bloom nutrients in the next few days. Roots looking good.

Starting to see nitrogen toxicity in the Solomatic, I'm watering with only PH water since 1 week now

Hello welcome to week 3. Poppy is suffering a bit from overly harsh LST but still growing. I broke a node today and it's really awkward to fix. I am not sure the node will survive. Day 17: The node did not survive. Whoops. Oh well more space for growth I guess. Day 18: Poppy has recovered from the LST now and is vegging fast. Fertigated 2l Day 19: Slightly adjusted LST. Poppy is really stretching out now. I have adjusted the timer such that the main tent is now getting 20/4 upped from 18/6. After monitoring DLI at 18/6 for a week I am unhappy with the overall level but because of the varying heights of the plants I am limited in what I can do in adjusting the light height. Some areas were only getting 20 DLI. So I have rearranged to have the taller plants on the edges and the lowest in the middle and doing it this way all plants are getting between 35 and 50 DLI at 20/4 - although one or two cola tips here and there are getting 55. Will monitor for a week. Day 20: Not taken photos yet, about to fertigate. I have noticed she is looking a little darker in the tips and has a vague blue sheen to her in places. I am going to reduce her nutrition a little bit. Day 20.5: Performed LST and took off three big leaves. Poppy is a pancake again. Fertigated 4l
