Day 56: Nothing special this week other then I found out another reason for the stretching of the plants. I don't know where i was of what i was doing but suddenly it came into my mind. Well normaly i use seperate veg and flower basic nutrients. This time, I used a new basic nutrient i never used before. This basic nutrient has veg and flower nutrients for the whole cycle. So the growth of the plants has been stimulating for to long. This is fun when you grow huge plants for a long time, not if you plan to only veg for 3-4 weeks, 1-2 weeks preflower with maybe 6 to 9 weeks of flowering.

I’ve kept almost all the fertilizer, light, and environmental parameters the same. I did a good defoliation to improve airflow, since I was having a bit of trouble lowering the humidity. This also helps the light penetrate better through the buds, allowing them to develop more fully.

Giorno 2 LST e verrà già pulita con una leggera defogliazione e più che altro lollipopping( solamente 1 nodo in meno per ogni ramo e 2 nei più sviluppati) perché è già più grande della compagna e ha i rami troppo cespugliosi che rovinano il flusso di aria e il loro corretto sviluppo. Como as temperaturas estão subindo por aqui, por isso optei por uma variedade automática e rápida e esta variedade nova parece muito adequada para minhas necessidades de tempo. Começamos dia 31 de outubro, direto para o papel umidificado a temperatura está em torno de 27 graus pelo dia e 24 a noite no ambiente de germinação.02 de novembro foram para os vasos. Dia 03 de novembro parece que vai tudo bem.

day 55: 2 of the plants are finally turning purple! I always have to remove some leaves for the lights to reach the lower buds, other than that I just feed and love them. :-) day 57: those 2 plants are getting more purple every day now! Unfortunately the camera cannot let u see what I see, but the colors are bright pink and almost pearlescent like. I will try and make more pics in natural light, but it's really tricky to get them out of the tent as they're pretty big now ..:P

End of Week 6, Day 42 and all is fine. Been slowly adjusting the light schedule this week, getting ready for the switch to 12-12. Currently at 15-9, will be 14-10 on Saturday, 13-11 on Sunday and finally 12-12 on Monday March 11. She is a little smaller than the other 2 Purple Kush. First time running both strains so don’t know what’s the norm. Getting a little worried about the crowding in the 39” x 48” x 72” tent with 4 plants in there. Wish me luck 😎

I am starting a Mandarine XL Auto. I lightly scuffed the seed ends, and dropped her in water. I will be growing her under a Medic Grow mini Sun-2. She will be grown in Gen 1:11 nutrition. She will stay in the water for 24 to 48 hours. Once I see the tap root tail start. I will place the seed in the rockwool. I then will dome it the best I can, and keep moist.
